Raman drops Adi to school. In the car he tells him to be strong.. Adi leaves. Raman talks to Ishita on the phone that he dropped Adi but he was scared.

When he's about to reverse the car the peon comes and tells him that the principal has called you. Raman worries that maybe Jhakkar did something.

Precap - Principal tells Raman that such a big accusation has been made on Adi that she'll have to suspend him from the school.. There was more in the precap but my cable stopped working. 😒

So someone update.

I've seriously been waiting for Toshiji's POV on all this & I'm so happy we got it today. The Bhallas raised 3 children who appear to have good heads on their shoulder and one wayward lad who like the others priorities family but made some real missteps.

This track is great bc it also raises the question to what degree is parenting responsible for a child's actions? Bc both Adi & Romi have a sense of right & wrong (more so for Adi at this age)...but they still fell prey to their own bad decisions. Could stricter parenting have helped either avoid such situations or were they destined to falter & learn from their own mistakes?

Parents can only do so much for their children. No matter how hard that reality is...it is a lesson in parenting (or so I am told by my wiser & experienced parents).

Looking forward to see Raman & Ishita convince the principal & to see Ashok/Jhakkar's counter-attack.

(Blame any typos on my iPad! 😆)

I wonder what role and how much say does Vinnie's mom have in her upbringing. From what we are shown, her dad seems to be holding the reins completely in their household. Mr.Jakkar seems to be having a lot of misplaced ego, and he is hell bent on ruining Raman and anything/anyone related to Raman for not giving into his methods of conducting business. I am looking forward to the day when he will face a huge loss as a result of teaming up with Ashok.😛😆

Adi has had a disturbing past and has gotten himself into more than a handful of criminal activities. The boy lived with his Shagun mom who has been an uninvolved parent with a very negligent style of parenting, hence Adi has had all the freedom to do whatever he wished for. And without the influence of his father during his growing up years, he tends to lack a balance between assertiveness and self-control.

Right now he finds himself in a completely different setting, where he being watched closely at every step and is answerable for his every action. At this point he is really yearning for his parents' and family's approval and acceptance, wants to blend into his new life, with his new friends. Vinnie does seem like a budding rebel, but more than that, Adi who used to be in control of his circle of friends before, now seems to be readily willing to give in, partially because of his soft corner for Vinnie, but mostly for the social acceptance.

I am loving this Adi upbringing track. The CVs seem to be covering all the bases with the complexities involved in parenting a teenager. Touchwood! Hope they carry it with the same grace, going forward too.👍🏼
