I have no hopes from a show which plans & plots only stupidity & negativity by turns.

I get the TRP race but why mess with something going good.
I get the twists & turns for TRP too. But whatever happened to happiness & a few bits of mohabattein in "Yeh hai Mohabattein"?

Are the CV's/ Kekta so jaded that they can't consider a couple of weeks of happy moments for a couple who goes has been going through some hell or the other for past 1.5 years.
If no, then give us 2 months of Ishra & at least we can quit happily.

PS -- I don't even want to write about the part where a wife leaves her family just coz she got ill. Lives with her ex-BF at that. And the part where a husband accepts his scheming conniving ex-wife in his home just coz the spot is vacant. Doesn't marriage mean anything in Kekta world?

PPS -- Heights of irony
in Kekta's soaps that bigamy/polygamy/illicit relationships are so easy while on the other hand they try to show an ideal bahu/wife/family with karvachauths, pooja's & whole load of satvik crap.

Well, right now, I have just kostin...will Ishra do IT or not? If yes, when?

Gan, good take! Vidya, am not a soap veteran but going by the comments from veteran ekta soap watchers, I am guessing 'yes' to ur Q above - remember the audience supposedly stops watching after the big C - so the PH wants a ' gripping' plot line for the after - what better way than to take a 10 yr leap so Ishita can return with a girl, a Ruhi look alike - so RD still plays her age after the leap too!🤢

People shouldn't protest the leap.

It should be a protest for #pregnancy track #end the bloody show.

They longer they air it...they more they will ruin it. So end the whole bloody sh*t show.

We'll miss the actors sure but at least this show will have a positive legacy.

But these people are greedy sadists. No actor will stand up bc they will lose their job. BT won't change their tired and true stupid formula bc they've made money of idiot viewers like us & TRP aunties for years. And SP has the highest rankings consistency so what do they care.

Seriously. Indian TV needs a reality check.

For about a year this show was mature & then slowly declined. Now tell me how mature & relatable a murdering ex is? Tell me how murder for revenge is justified?

Whatever.

Thank god I have other TV options than this mindless bull.

Actually I would watch any other SP stupid sass-bahu show bc at least I knew what I was getting from day one. Hell I'd even watch KKB bc that show was stupid from day one. But YHM wasn't meant for this, so it's plummet to hell is something I don't care to watch.

Who cares if this separation & revelevation bring out angst in the leads & help "grow their mohabbatein?" Guess what...by mixing in their exes, it demolishes the point of this show. But really I didn't even get the triangular aspect of this show so really my bad.

#woof. Sorry for the rant but I am just done with sh*t (and it's been a long a** day).

Nice post!!
So sad with this upcoming spoiler 😭
I m even ok with the leap, let it be 15 years not inly 10 but please keep ishita raman ruhi n adi together n if possible one ir mire kids of Ishra. They can show the crap like adi falling in love with dubbus daughter or ruhi falling for ashoks son but please dont separate mr n mrs raman bhalla and thier kids for 10 years.

Oh and I was actually looking forward to catching up with the show after my exam today, but now...whatever.

Given BT's lack of maturity - be ready for Raman & Shagun's 2nd suhaag raat. They may not get married but BT loves making dumb a**es out of men - so it'll be one drunken night.

(Also I'm over reacting with that last part, but I've just had a long day and this spoiler makes it all the better!)

I didnt sign up for just Ishita or Raman ..their journey together was what attracted me to this serial...their chemistry...his biting tongue was always balanced by her replies...I would love to see old Raman as the alpha male back ..we have complained so much about it...but at the cost of going back to the exes , to nullify the journey till now...that is not resuscitation to me rather taking a different path altogether...something that doesn't gel with me. I have given up watching this show religiously long time back...the thing that didnt let me go was Ishra story, Divan chemistry and their acting...2 of 3 will be gone...I dont know how big a leap we're talking about...If it's more that few years with Ruhi in older avatar...that is another blow ...so if anything my hope is something that needs resuscitation...its at zero now. </font>

This won't be a ressurection of RKB. It will be the final nail to make him a soap husband. He may be old hateful RKB for a bit, but the second the truth comes out...he becomes a pitiful soap lead. Not only that but until they get back together (which will be hard given Shagun's & Subbu)...he will hate himself for not being in their love.

So I don't see this as a ressurection of the original RKB.

Plus the RKB many actually grew to really like was around the Mihir Sagaai track - where he was has but caring. Not the callous man who taunted Ishita for not getting the adoption to work out. So to show him hate her, albeit temporarily, doesn't sit well bc once the hate spell breaks - what's left to his character again? He'll go back to being the silent man we saw during the Rinki wedding fiasco or the one who kicks out his wife over something stupid. The RKB we saw in this atrocious Simmi-Subbu track was a ressurection - we saw a man solve problems. He yelled & was flawed like a human, but he still did something...which we haven't really seen all year.

Idk I'm just rambling now about a stupid show. The makers/actors don't care so long as they make money...and money they will make. TRPs may fall during the separation, but then they'll show the revelation & reunion & maybe even a honeymoon...and those TRPs will take them to #1. So wooohoo.

For people who watched from day 1 - this will partially defeat the original concept of the show, but for other viewers it makes for a "damn good track"

yeah u are right...aisa hi kuch expect karna chahiye...Then raman can hate ishita for keeping away from him and also their daughter from him.
Once he accepts and understands her, the kid hates ishita for doing all this separation and stuff...saazish against her mother...may be join hands with shagun who is insecure that her position as bhalla biwi and bahu gets snatched...more saazish more drama...more trps. All happy except we foolish fans...

@krishy you did not ramble.. What you expressed are honest feelings shared by many who fell in love with the original premise of the show and now feel cheated to be served with typical soap drama that we didn't want in the first place..
It's just sad ..

Haha thanks. After my test I was just so brain dead & I logged in here so I could laugh at the stupid Subbu shit, and saw this nonsense.

I hope all the actors & "creatives" & SP love rolling in the shit ton of cash they make spreading bakwaas. I would feel for the actors but at the end of the day - they may half heartedly fight it...but they'll stay bc it's good money & fame.

I respect professionalism of the stars for making stupid look good & relatable, but now they are just doing it as a stepping stone. I don't mean to sound spiteful, but none of them care bc they need this job & role to push forward. They don't respect themselves & their talent enough to quit bc to quit an EK soap at it's peak may be career suicide? That's why I liked Gauri Pradhan who quit MATSH, another EK show, bc here character had nothing. Unfortunately it takes years of establishing yourself to have that respect for your talent & character.

Idk money talks, and beats everything else.
