So Bala's done the needful in the nick of time and saved Raman's image from getting tarnished even further?? He contacted Tanushree (remember, the erstwhile gossip-hungry bitchy reporter who helped Ashok frame Mihika and bring disrepute to her? And well, later had a transformation of heart and chose to get Ashok's face blackened and humiliated on Live TV, to protect Mihika's interests and strengthen her case?) Well yes...she is the one...and apparently, she has even conducted a telephonic interview with Raman which is gonna be aired in 2-3 days..
I dont know if this was a good move or a bad one...I guess it prolly irked him more...
so that's settled there. Cool. So Bala isnt breaking the Bhallas' trust then, as was suspected for lack of tying the dots which look more like freckles on Subbu's constipated face
But that is not what the whole episode was about...Just the fact that I'd have to write about Subbu is draining me of all my energy.😔
Ishu took Raman aside and informed him that SImmi's not in the house, and has taken Ananya along and gone to meet Subbu...Of course Raman lost it, and yelled at Ishu for letting Simmi go (even I think Ishu could've tried harder) and frantically tried calling Simmi...and of course she didnt pick up her phone...Anyway, they rush to Subbu's apartment..the lift isnt working so Raman asks Ishu to stay at the gate while he goes in checks...
Taking the stairs he reaches Subbu's flat and looks around in every nook and corner...but na wahan Subbu dikhta hai, na Simmi...frustrated and worried, he comes back done...and tells Ishu nobody's there...as they plan to go to the police station, from up above a slipper lands on Raman...and wondering where it fell from, they look up to find Simmi's tall frame uncertainly backing against the edge and Subbu, with them...
I cannot even FATHOM the MOTIVES Subbu is playing around with...Armed with a kitchen knife in hand, he threatens Simmi to take the jump along with Ananya if she wishes to solve Bhalla family's probs once and for all...First, WHY DID SIMMI GO TO THE TERRACE JUST COZ THIS CREEP SAID SO? I mean, I cant imagine he DRAGGED THEM TO THE TERRACE, did he? Ab chhat pe koi khazaana toh chhupa rakha nai hoga, ki he said "chalo, lets go treasure-hunting on the terrace" aur Simmi ne chal diya... I mean, why would you entertain a man who LITERALLY TRIED TO STRANGLE YOUR SIS-IN-LAW in front of 10 other persons? WHY?😔
Second, I guess SUbbu wanted to MAKE SIMMI MAJBOOR and take her own life right? Threatening to push her off the edge if she didnt do it herself, he is practically trying to murder her...is this how he wanted to make her majboor??
Horrified Raman and Ishu rush to the terrace...Ishu, who recently got her plaster removed, stumbles as they rush up the stairs...and she asks Raman to go save Simmi, she'll manage...in the meanwhile, Vandu called and Ishu hurriedly tells her about Subbu trying to push Simmi and Ananya off the terrace...Vandu makes a war cry and calls Bala and the others to rush to Subbu's apartment..
If Im not mistaken, wasnt Subbu earlier living in an individual house (am going by the first few times Raman went to his flat) and now suddenly he's moved to an apartment huh??
This creep kept telling Simmi to jump along with Ananya, if she wanted to save Bhalla family..the stupidity and ludicrousness of these lines...which sane person in their right mind would do that?? AT was at his WORST today...I mean, just when I feel he couldnt get worse with his acting, he surpasses our 'expectations' and our doubts and fears..and EXCELS in the department of pathetic acting... The way he was screaming and yelling, "JUMP, BLOODY JUMP" and occasionally crying, "Maine apne Karthik ko kho diya" "Mere bete ke baare mein kisine nai socha...woh bhi toh innocent tha" sounded like SImmi personally held Lakshmi and Karthik dangling from the 10th floor and dropped them like hot coal...
I am so drained and so EWWWed by his acting..Not even Param and Ashok match the level of kameenapanti that Subbu has, within him to be trying to murder two innocent people...and to think AT single-handedly ruined this wonderful opportunity to bring a different flavour in the character...not that the character-sketching helps, either...so badly sketched character as well as DISMAL, PATHETIC PORTRAYAL of the same continue add to our woes...😔
Anyway, Raman and Ishu reach the terrace...Raman tries to make a dash at Subbu but Ishu restrains him, saying "woh Simmi ke saath kuch bhi kar sakta hai"
Simmi, who has been pleading and begging with him notices Raman opposite her..he motions to her to keep quiet and hides behind stuff kept on the terrace, stealthily making small moves...
I must say, Shireen Mirza was FAB today👏...the desperation, FEAR, was etched perfectly on her face...contrasting a scared cornered victim like SImmi, we had Subbu who could only evoke big fat yawns from my end...I was like, "Hato yaar...jaldi khatam karo..I cant see you"
But even in this tragic scenario, I couldnt help laughing coz Ananya didnt even blink her eyelids ONCE...It looked like she was watching a movie with her Mom (which she understood nothing of, but thoroughly enjoyed coz of the sounds and visuals)😆
The Bhallas on the other hand have gone to Subbu;s flat... (I thought no one was around and Raman could easily go in, but how come Sujata was trying to open the door??) ...Bala tried to reason with Sujie, saying that Subbu has taken Simmi and Ananya to the terrace and forcing them to jump

Toshi started her pleas with a belligerent 'OYe' and tried to reason with her...but all this bitch said was, "Meri beti bhi toh isi tarah mar gayi thi...agar main bardaasht kar sakti hun toh tum kyun nai"
In the meanwhile, Shaila Bua has just tapkofied from the skies and reached Bhalla House...the guard there informed her that they had to leave the society (what a prick! aise bol raha tha jaise boriya bistar saath leke gaye the😡) and Shaila Bua, confused, called Romi...
Yahan Subbu;s mom tried to make Sujie understand ki "dukh toh mujhe bhi hai apni bahu aur pote ko khone ka...lekin ab main apne bete ko nai khona chahti...kya tumhen accha lagega agar Subbu jail jayega tph?" that seemed to soften Sujie a bit and she agreed to help them...Like hell! What could she do? And anyway, Subbu WILL land in jail...he doesnt need to murder anyone to go to jail/..the attempt itself will have him behind the bars...
I thought Shaila Bua was fighting a life-and-death situation at the immigration office...agar unko yun tapkana hi tha SHOW MEIN, toh do din pehle kyun nai kiya?
On the terrace, as per their plan...Ishu marches in and stops Subbu, going "Subbu tum pagal ho gaye ho kya?" "Jo bhi baat hai woh hum baith ke bhi suljha sakte hain naa"

Subbu SCREECHED worse than Shagun has ever done in the show... "Maine apne bacche aur biwi ko kho diya...main jo kar raha hun bilkul sahi kar raha hun...lekin tum kya samjhogi ki baccha khone ka dard kya hota hai, tum toh bacche paida kar hi nai sakti" and this is where I wanted to push him OFF the terrace.😡 It reminded me of Appa's reaction when he heard the Bhallas wanted to get Simmi married off to Subbu... he was right...Subbu hasnt changed AN IOTA...And how dare he speak like that!
Is there a prob with him? I mean kal bhi usne, "tum apne aap ko itna importance mat do Ishita" kaha aur aaj bhi...is it somehow tied to her?? I wonder...
Anyway, as they converse in heated tones, he shoves the knife in Simmi's face and scared she slides off the edge, falling...but saved by a hand shooting out to save her - Raman...he had strode forward and landed himself level on the ground, trying to save Simmi...Subbu realised this and wanted to prevent Raman from doing the same...
Ishu pulls him back...he pushes her to the ground and starts pulling Raman back, kicking and punching him, to weaken his grip on Simmi and let her fall...
this was a DAMN SCARY SCENE! I dunno how these guys shot...but looking at Simmi almost falling down to her death was scary... The Bhallas and the Iyers who had reached the apartment, along with fifty others who had assembled at the gate but didnt have the good sense to come up and help save the woman and her child...kept their shocked, scared expressions on.. I was wondering, didnt it strike ANY of them to come up and stop this ruckus??
Toshi particularly CRIED OUT LOUD, like she had just entered the battlefield and was gonna mow down the attackers...
Ishu helplessly looked around for a while, before finding a stick (sort of like a small bamboo) and started hitting Subbu with it...okay, that bit looked funny...looked like a disgruntled kid was shooing away a mad dog..I wished she did it with more rage and passion...like Rani Mukherji in Mardaani...but khair...Subbu rolls down to a side, semi-conscious...
Ishu finds the chance and joins Raman, helping her to pull Simmi and Ananya up...
after a lot of trying and panting and pulling, Simmi ko uthake safely terrace pe le aate hain
...that one minute scene of the three of them huddled together, Raman ensuring his sis and wife are both fine...LOVELY👏KP..FAB, FAB JOB! NO WORDS! SUCH A WONDERFUL ACTOR...HE LOOKED LIKE HIS LIFE WAS AT STAKE...SO MUCH LOVE! I LOVE YOU KP! JUST LOVE YOU!👏👏
Raman and Ishu hug Simmi and ANANYA...Ishu consoles Simmi and tries to bring her to normalcy..as Raman charges at Subbu like an ANGRY, ANGRY BULL...Subbu receives quite a few kicks, and punching...Bala comes in time and tries to pry Raman off sSubbu...
Instead of slapping Subbu left, right and centre...Sujie and Subbu's Mom help pull him up...as if he was an injured cub...
Shaila came in panting and aate hi drove her brains, straight to the point "Yehi aadmi tha woh...Dr. Subramaniam...iski biwi iske gandi harkaton ki wajah se mar gayi..iske gande character ki wajah se iski biwi ne suicide kar liya...yeh khooni hai...isine apni biwi aur bacche ko maar dala..."
Shaila Bua - That;s it?? THAT'S IT?? And you couldn't have shared this mind-boggling piece of info OVER PHONE/SKYPE/WHATSAPP??
I think even those who havnt watched Subbu;s outstanding acting have figured as much...such waste of time...faltoo drama, I say

Sujata didnt even LOOK doubtful when Shaila accused Subbu of being the reason behind his wife's and child's death...its like she blindly trusts Subbu...would she be as accepting and accommodating of Subbu when she finds out her son-in-law pushed her daughter off the building? Subbu went in FB mode, reminiscing Lakshmi...Lucky woman..she didnt live long enuff to bear his horrible acting...😵

P.S. This should be a wake-up call to YHM CVs...bringing in a character like Subbu (not the Ishita-bsessed one but the same ol'd baccha obsessed freaking psychopath) and roping in AT to PLAY THIS UNNECCESARILY HYPED, HEADACHE INDUCING PART should have given them a reality check by now...I am APPALLED at the ideas they are coming up with, with each progressive track and this current track, in general makes it seem, the world is such a BAD, BAD PLACE...and you could get bumped off if your COUSIN (who hasnt ONCE been mentioned on the show and is as good as DEAD for the Bhallas as well) ruined some madman's life...
even if Subbu waxes poetic, I doubt I will ever undertstand his motivation. Neha Vanraj did something to him and since he couldn't get even with her, he flew down to ruin the Bhallas coz anyway, according to him "sab ek hi thali ke chatte-batte hain?" Epic Failure.🤔
P.S. On a lighter note, Shaila Bua didnt look like she flew down to save someone's life...she looked more like an irritated, frustrated bespectacled hostel warden telling Subbu off for sneaking into the Girls' Hostel without her permission🤣 and of course Ananya looked like someone fed her too many candies to keep her mouth shut and not panic even she is dangling from atop a high-rise building😆
