If she has been living there for a long time, she could be having a UK passport..which means she will need visa. But, I could be wrong..

First she was from Canada, now she is from Britain. And if she is a citizen of either of those countries, she needs a visa to travel to India. But CVs themselves probably don't know or care if she is British or Indian, so why should we bother?

India doesn't allow dual citizenship. If she is a British citizen now, she will need a visa to come to India.

Indians holding passport of other countries need what is called OCI ( overseas citizen of India) or PIO ( person of indian origin ) cards to visit India .. Else they would need visa like anyone who is not an Indian citizen

If you have OCI card (booklet of same size as passport), its lifelong visa. Then you dont require addional visa. But if you dont have that, you need visa. Earliar the had PIO card (person of indian origin), but no new people are getting it. But old one is valid.
