Thank you so much everyone for your unconditional support to continue this SS 🤗 I have written another long one to end it and instead posting this one (Spare update 😉) I don't know if you'll like it or not 🤔 But as far as the storyline is concerned, I'm not going to change it. Well...twists will be there to prolong the plot 😈 So bear me ☺️

Chapter-11

KUCH TO HAI...



"I...love you Ishita...I love you so much...!"


Ishita was in her reverie which was broken by the first kick of her baby. She stirred in the sofa and focused to know if it was real. But to her dismay it never repeated. She tried different cute ways to feel it again.


"Baby...ap ko apple chahiye...? Dekho mama apple kha rahi hun...! You liked it..? Bolona...mama's waiting."

[Baby...you want apple? See mama's eating apple! You liked it? Say mama's waiting]


Toshiji came and saw Ishita talking and playing with her tummy like it is her new toy.


Toshi: "Arey puttar...yeh kya kar raheho?"

[What are you doing puttar?]


Ishita: "Voh...main...khel rahi dhi..."

[I was playing]


Toshi: "Kick maara kya?"

[Kicked?]


Ishita: Confused, "Apko kaise pata?"

[How did you know?]


Toshi: "Arey oye...do-do bache ke maa hun..."

[I'm mother of 2 kids]


Ishita: "Toh...boliye kyun dobara nahin maar rahin hai mujhe..?"

[Then tell me why is it not repeating?]


Toshi: "Aise bad-bad karoge toh kaise hoga...! Aram karo...tab hi baby move karenge"

[How'll it happen if you continue to bad-bad like this! Relax...and the baby will move]


Ishita: "Lekin mujhe restless feel ho raha hai mummiji...Relax nahin kar pa rahi hun mummiji...I wants to run...jump and roll on the floor...and..."

[But I'm feeling restless. I'm not being able to relax]


Toshi: Cutting her short, "Koyi baat nahin...aise hota hai..."

[Don't worry...it happens]


Their talk was interrrupted by the entry of Ishita's appa.


Mr Iyer: "Ishu kanna...paaru amma vada pottuvittan...!"

[See Amma made vada for you]


Toshi: "Ap bhi nah samdan ji...Maine hazar bar bola Tamil mat bola karo...Kaise comedy vala language hai nah...!"

[I told you not to talk in Tamil. How comedy it is!]


Mr Iyer: "Voh apko nahin pata hai nah isiliye aisa lagta hai...Mujhe bhi pehale Punjabi aur Hindi sunke hansi aathi dhi.."

[You don't know one thing... I too felt like laughing when I heard Punjabi and Hindi in the initial days]


Toshi: Making a face, "Ap apki biwi pe gaye hai aaj kal...!"

[You became like your wife]


Ishita: "Ab bas bhi karo...aur dedo mujhe meri vada..."

[Stop it and give me my vada]


Mr Iyer: "Kya tum paani puri kha liya?"

[You ate paani puri?]


Ishota: "Ayyoo...subha itna crave kar rahe dhe...phir bhool gaya...acha ki apne yaad dilaya...main abhi Raman ko batati hun"

[I was craving in the morning and then forgot. It is good that you reminded me. I'll tell Raman]


Toshi: Lightly slapping her shoulder, "Oye...bahar ka khana nahin...Main banati hun. Agar teri madrasan amma vada bana sakte hai to main pani puri kya...Italian pasta tak bana lungi tere naal."

[No food from outside. I'll make it. If your Amma can make vada then I can make even pasta for you, what in paani puri]


Mr Iyer: "Yeh competition kab khadm hoga?"

[When will this competition end?]


Toshi: "Voh ab tak shuru bhi nahin hua hai ji..."

[It didn't start yet]


Ishita: Licking her lips, "Pasta is not a bad idea!"


AFTERNOON

AT RAMAN'S OFFICE


Raman was in a conference regarding the construction of their new branch in Mumbai. The place which they bought is fatally linked to a house which is uninhabitated from a couple of years. But the owner is not at all willing to give away the property.


Adarsh: "Sir...chahe toh hum legally claim kar sakte hai..."

[If we want we can legally claim it]


Surya: "Yes sir, 10 cent is in our agreement. So we can easily claim the portion which is legally under our company."


Patak: "Haan bhai...we can...as per the situations. Voh ghar sirf ek building hai which is being useless from some years. Hum owner ko voh ghar bechne main majboor kar sakte hai...by means of law. And the plot will be completely ours and useful."

[The house is just a useless building. We can compel the owner to sell the house]


Jeet: "I agree with Patak. We should go with his plan. In fact we are not harming anybody, but buying the property with the consent of law."


Raman: "If there is some emotional bounding...? Hum kisi ke feelings ko business nahin bana sakte hai right?"

[We cannot business other's feelings right?]


Mihir: "Lekin bhai...if he wants more money? If he is waiting for a good oppurtunity? We should give it a try..."


Patak: "Haan Mihir is right bhai..."

Surya: Checking her laptop, "OK...here we goes...the portion which is under us is the garden...and it is the tomb of the owner's son. That's why he is not giving it."


Jeet: "Oh...so we can't do anything"


Patak: "Don't be a spoil Mr Jeet Singh! We should think practically. If not the whole property we should at least consider ours."


Mihir: "Well...yes, If he want to keep the tomb he can...But we should ask for compensation...the other part...Is that right hai?"


Raman: "Yes...we need to talk to them. Aur naam kya hai unka?"

[What's his name?]


Mihir: "Major Ranav Khurana"


Raman: Fisting his hands and gritting his teeth, "No need to talk. Case ka procedures karo. I want that property in my wife's name within this week."

[Do the case's procedures]


Everyone in unison: "Yes sir."


NIGHT AT BHALLA'S


Raman was throwing tantrums from the moment he entered his home. He was gentle only with Ishita whom others used as a mediator to see to Raman.


Ishita on the other hand was yearning to share about the first baby kick to him. It was past ten when she enterd the bedroom after freshening up. She uses to watch cartoons with her father-in-law nowadays. When she entered the bedroom she saw Raman working on his laptop sitting on the bed.


Ishita's thought: "Aaj-kal mere liye time hi nahin hai inke paas. Main aaj inke godh main bahin baitungi."

[He doesn't have time for me now a days. I won't sit on his lap today]


She lays in a half sitting position on the bed posing to be reading a magazine which Raman also noticed. He was wonderjng why in the world is she ignoring him. Then he remembered his rudeness towards mummiji and papaji which might have affected her.


He was on a mission to torture the Khurana. Anger and vengence which he suppressed came into light again by hearing the name. He was unable to control himself but her divine face which never failed to tamed him.


Here he was thinking of her coming to him and cajole him by her love, but she is hell bend on showing indifference.


On the other side, Ishita was thinking of the baby kick which she couldn't feel after the first time. His ignorant behaviour was taking a toll over her conscience.


Ishita's thought: "Kaise bataungi is khadus Kumar ko...?"

[How'll I tell this Khadus Kumar?]


Raman's thought: "Badi ayi Jhansi Ki Rani! Mujhe ignore kar rahe hai...! Main bhi nahi baat karunga..."

[JKR. Ignoring me! I won't talk to her]


Both of them stole glances at each other; with expectations. Finally the last stray of patience was no more in Ishita which made her call his name furiously. He smiled at himself for his victory but didn't let it go that easily.


Raman: "Ishita...please...dekha nahin...main kaam kar raha hun..."

[Can't you see I'm working]


Ishita: With a sad puppy face, "Mujhse baat bhi nahin karoge?"

[You won't talk to me?]


Raman's thought: "Kisne bola tujhse chotti ladki se shaadi karne ko? Dekha kaise bacho jaise cute-cute faces banakar tujhe pata rahe hai! But not today"

[Who said to marry small girl? See how she is coaxing you with her cute-cute faces!]


Raman: "Ishita...bachkani harkat band karo aur so jao...Mujhe toda aur kaam hai."

[Stop your childishness and sleep. I have some works]


Ishita: "You're so rude. Main apse ajse baat nahin karungi."

[I won't talk to you from now on]


Raman: "Toh mat karo yaar...! Kisne bola ki mujhse baat karte rehne ko...! Pagal Madrasan"

[Then don't do. Who asked you talk to me! Mad Madrasan]


Ishita: Sobbingly, "Jabse main pregnant hun ap mujhse pehale jaise pyar hi nahin karti. You thinks I'm so fatty. I know you don't love me anymore. Now you don't even want to talk to me...

[Since I got pregnant you're not loving me the way you used to.]


(Suddenly clutching her stomach)

Aaah...Ramannn!"


Raman who was hearing all her rants while looking at the laptop just not to let her know that how her words are affecting him jumped out of his place hearing her scream.


Raman: "Ishita...Kya...kya hua...? Main mazak kar raha dha...[Ishita what happened? I was joking] I was playing because you didn't sit on my lap tonight...I still love you...You're so beautiful and you looks more pretty after you got pregnant...You became more fair and glowing. More than that I still loves you the way I used to do. Maybe I love you more and more now...See I'm serious!"


He told in one go and looked at her astounded face expectantly. His swift movement caused by her loud scream made him take her in his arms. She has her head on his left shoulder while he gripped on her left arm from behind her body. She held his shirt in her hands whilst his right hand was on her tummy protectively. That's when he felt a movement under his hand. He jerked his hand in fear and shifted his eyes from her tummy to her face and the process continued until she eyed him to touch there.


Raman: In a low tone, "I'm scared"


Ishita: "Kyun...?"

[Why?]


Raman: "It's so soft...you...you're so soft!"


Ishita: "No Raman...I want you to feel it..."


Raman: "It really moved...and tickles... I'm scared if I'll hurt you...and baby..."


Ishita: "Raman...she is moving...! Pura din main yeh dobara feel karna chaha...
lekin yeh sirf apke presence pe hua...and I was craving to share it with you..."

[I wished to feel it again the whole day. But it happened only in your presence]


Raman: "Toh main...touch karun...? It won't hurt right?"

[Then...may I touch?]


She nodded her head affirmatively and he moved his hand hesitantly towards her stomach. She watched his confused and hesitated countenance changing to surprise, happiness and more.


Raman: "OMG Ishu...It's our baby...she is so small...!"


Ishita: "Yes she is...!"


Raman: Crinkling his eyebrows, "Is it really a baby girl...?"


With that he slowly made her lay there comfortably and caressed her stomach to feel the movement again. She hummed positively stating that it maybe a baby girl.


He laid next to her extending his left hand. She kept her head on his arm and covered the blanket over them. He again forwarded his hand towards her stomach and retracted it in midway.


Ishita: "What now Raman?"


Raman: "She is like a tiny kitty no?"


Ishita: Smacking his shoulder, "Ap bhi nah Raman...kuch bhi...!"

[You too Raman...anything"]


Raman: Dreamily letting out a sigh, "I can't believe that we did it!"


Ishita: "And...?"


Raman: "I miss Shagun..."


Ishita: "Me too..."


Raman: "Leave all that...You want me to press your legs? I didn't do it today... I'm sorry"


Ishita: "No Raman...I'm alright. Mummiji have given me a total massage today"


Raman: "Oh that's...that's great..."


Ishita: "Bolo Raman...kya chupane ka koshish kar rahe ho ap?"

[Tell me Raman. What are you trying to hide?]


Raman: Stammering, "Hmm...chupana nahin...mujhe kuch kehna hai...But I don't know how..."

[Not to hide but to tell]


Ishita faced him by slopping a little towards him and caressed his cheek and eyes. He closed his eyes enjoying her touch forgetting all his worries. He was in her spell for the time being.


Ishita: "Hmm...?"


Raman: "Voh...Major Ranav Khurana ke barein mein..."

[About Major RK]


Ishita: Taking off her hand in a jiffy, "Parmeet ke papa?"

[Parmeet's papa?]


Raman: "Haan..."

[Yes]


Ishita: Closing her mouth with her palm, "Ayyo amma...main kaise bhool gayi unke barein mein! Main aaj tak unse milne ke bare main kyun nahi socha...!"

[How did I forget about them! Why didn't I think about meeting them till now?]


Raman: "Kyun...tum unse kyun milun?"

[Why...why'll you meet them?]


Ishita: "Kaise baat kar rahe ho Raman...! Parmeet mere liye apna jaan diya...kisi ke bhi bare main nahin socha...aur unke family se mujhe milna chahiye...hai nah?"

[What are you asking Raman! Parmeet died for me...didn't think about anybody...And I should meet his family right?]


Raman: "Toh Parmeet ne tujhe hospital laye dhe toh...voh...kaun dha joh...?"

[So Parmeet brought you to the hospital. Then who was that who...]


Ishita: "I DON'T KNOW RAMAN! I DIDN'T SEE HIM! Main ne use maar dali dhi...! Lekin mujhe nahin pata voh kaun dhe! Sirf Param jaante hai...Voh bhi ab is duniya mein nahin hai..."

[I killed him. But I don't know who was he! Only Param knows. He too is not alive now]
