First things first - is it actually happening, the wonder of wonders - the miracle we all awaited? IshRa are learning to TALK 😲😆😆
Couldnt help that dramatic approach but good god I was surprised to see them talk at last in that scene in the kid' room, I was so happy that they talked about doing it, that I didnt even have the heart to sulk anymore that they have not done it already - sounds a bit convoluted right? I hope not 😆😆
But damn, this is something that they should focus on, show more - them working on things together, last night though they didnt talk it out, the fact that it was revealed they meant to do so - even if it became a comedy caper made them move in the right direction and so Puttar after teasing biwi in front of everyone, understanding that this would be the only way to corner her alone made all the right moves.
While I obviously adored the talk about their special night and Puttar asking Biwi is she ready for this - making certain he isnt pressurising her or doing something thats scaring her or making her nervous, I loved the little scene where they hid behind the curtain too - only if Mihir hadnt come in then.
And its said often between guys with friends like these who needs enemies - apparently that applies to brothers too - especially when you have got one like Romi, though his prank at least provides an explaination as to how Raj & Simran concluded Raman is gay, despite being married twice over and a father of two, the question now remains is this gonna get a closure or will be forgotten?
Personally I would love a closure not just because I am all for one on all things, but because I wanna see how Raman explodes on learning he is being romantically linked with his BIL Mihir of all people and what he does to Romi once he learns that his own brother confirmed the supposition of his supposed sexual orientation 😆😆
One good thing they didnt make fun or gays or use any vulgar language to demean them, Raj was accepting his brother' orientation though he thinks he can change it with the help of this Jassi, but was finding it hard to digest that Raman would do this to his own sister ...
Ass is capable of thinking - though I wonder why didnt he use his brains for business - seriously if there' a guy who should be linked with Raman on this show it has to be Ass, the man thinks only and only about him to the point he is obsessed with him and in the name of revenge would resort to anything possible.
And speaking of revenge and resorting to any means, I cant forget to mention Subbu or Dabbu as he is christended in this place.
To say that watching a popular track on shows I follow is always a treat for me would be an understatement, I adore that if the execution is correct. So having read that HAK track will play in YHM was an unexpected surprise which made me happy...only I wondered which character would they play it on, I had guessed it would be Subbu...though what I didnt guess was that we would see the dead Laxmi while it happens very much alive, though in memories of course.
For a moment, watching the song I was thrown off and not in a good way...like I said I usually am excited to see a popular track I like on shows I follow, but tonight I couldnt connect to it - if anything what I felt was indifference and maybe thats because it was picturized on two characters with whom I have zero connect - Laxmi is a very flimsy entity still while Subbu has failed to make a connect on any level at all. He isnt someone who is loved nor is he hated...he is just there like an annoying spectre you cant ignore nor get rid off - thats sad in a way really, since this character could have been used so much more beautifully for this show, instead they did what they did and we see this effing mucked up track which so far doesnt make sense - there is nor a head or a tail to it.
What though I did take away from this was that its all very, very confusing and hazy and perhaps stilll in nascent stages of development - character and track wise for Subbu.
In the song his FB had his wife being so normal and happy, while the diary entries that we have been made privy to so far reveal a woman who is unhappy with her life and situations - things dont add up, not that she couldnt have slipped into depression post the baby but right now it just doesnt add up... why would his wife be depressed and if she was how does the Bhalla family come into the picture - the only Bhalla that she might have possibly been affected by even in her absence is Ishita as the ex of her husband...but then again how does that lead to her death is something thats a riddle. Plus the airline thing came up again - if she died in an aircrash why blame the Bhallas?
It just doesnt make any sense as it doesnt why would even Sujata find them responsible for the death of her daughter and grandson, if thats really what happened and in London of all places
In instances like these when a story doesnt make sense for most part in thrillers while reading a book it can be attributed to the most amazing literary devices that exist - red herrings and an unreliable narrator - the combination of which makes for an awesome book which can give you a thrill and a headache in equal measures...if they are doing the same here I hope to god they pull it off, Subbu being a man who is mentally disturbed can be considered an unreliable narrator which can explain why the memories of his wife we saw today dont go along with what we have learned of her from her diary as well as explain the red herrings that we may be and are being subjected too...
As of now with AT gone for the next few days, the mystery will again be on a backburner, just hope that the CVs dont make this a very, very stupid revenge saga where the answer to the what' and why' leaves us more disappointed than anything.
