So we had it coming...we did and yet, yet when the proverbial shit hit the fan tonight it was still ghastly
I think the only time I thought I am seeing sanity onscreen tonight is when Appa and Ishu conversed. Heavens above - ONE SANE CHARACTER EXISTS IN YHM LAND. Usually I would ask you guys to forgive the caps but you get the sentiment...when Appa started opening upto Ishu for a moment I couldnt believe my eyes or ears and the explosions of WTH that were going on in my brain since the second Toshiji opened her mouth from that very first scene stopped...yes cease fire happened...for the rest of the episode though my brain wasnt so lucky 😭
That to me was the best part of the episode tonight the rest of the time all I could think of was W*F, W*F, W*F...it was like the word was stuck on a loop in my brain.
I thought that the emotional attyachar, yes thats whats it was that Toshiji inflicted on her daughter was awful...then I saw the scene where Subbu actually PROPOSED to Simi and claimed to wait for her and all that jazz saying he cant promise her teeny-booper romance and stuff - I have no idea how I didn't throw up - the urge was strong definitely, VERY STRONG.
Like seriously what the hell - he says he can wait for her, asks her mom to NOT force her and PROPOSES her all in the same breath in a way - way to go geronimo😳 That spells - NO PRESSURE at all, it does...because of course now all that will happen is Toshi will bug the hell out of Ishita and Simi until one of them, her daughter mostly says yes to marry Subu...just to have the woman shut up...while we the audience are left with just one sentiment
While on the other end - Shagun developed self-respect or maybe not, maybe she just loved putting down Ass so much when she refused him after all if he can publicly strand her at the altar this is the least she can do to him - shun him in private though if he is bankrupt and she makes no money I dont get it how come he still is in that bungalow of his and exactly how long does Shagun think he will keep playing sugar daddy to her and the kids if he is in risk of losing the clothes on his back considering that she is making plans to move abroad permanently.
As for the rest of the episode - which is to say the confession and the sudden WUV between the most BORING Couple of the show and perhaps century ever this says it all I believe 🥱
