Indira was one of the most corrupt politicians India has ever produced. Sanjay Gandhi was a DEVIL.
She systematically exploited Bindranwaale for her selfish needs and when it all turned, she labelled them terrorist. Ring a bell?😉 She has zero connection to the Gandhi name... she used it so Rahul, Sonia and Robert Vadra will never ever hold a job ever in their life... and their great grand kids included

I am not trashing India because I live here, I trash both places equally😆 Hillary is the only politician that will conduct government business on GMAIL😡👏 her daughter is the only McKinsey employee with A HISTORY DEGREE😡 Honest hiring practices be damned

Yes I have watched Maachis many many times, the songs are outstanding again by Gulzar👏
Tabu is another powerhouse

Even after so many years people are still looking for closure. Had done a story for HT in Delhi on the widows colony that was built for those who died in the 84 riots. One of the most heart wrenching stories I ever did. The poor women fending for themselves and their children, the compensation money taken away by their extended families...so so sad.
On the other hand the 84 riots are being exploited even here. It's shocking that Sikhs here and even their gurdwaras are divided as fundamentalist or moderate. God how much politics can people play over such an unfortunate incident.

An also a sucker for ok'd songs. I feel listening to them gives you that much needed release sometimes. So I deliberately listen to them cry and then all is well again on my planet.

Talking of imagination can't help imagining RB with baby savvy now and singing "MERE GHAR AAYI EK NANHI PARI"

Kya Karoon is overtime mein Kaam kar rahi imagination ka. UFF!!!!

Am not big on tears yaar...n I dont like crying people either... I dont express my sadness with tears... Which I feel is a bad thing... But then I dont like tears, toh it gets difficult to vent it out... Infact when am stressed and or angry I sleep a lot, I hate to talk it out too... Except for stating it once ki this affected me... N movies mei ja ke director ko toh bol nahi sakti ye kyu kar diya tumne😆 Toh entertainment mei sadness I dont like!

😭 ...if these words can bring tears in my eyes, then how can i agree to the fact that this is just a piece of fiction??thanks to this amazing writer...

Noone in this world can replace a parent's love or place... Each one of us am sure has that one fav memory with our parents!! Something that has shaped our choices, habits or nature... N all coz of that memory with our parents...
The fact that Nisha uses n brings such simple real n regular images in her story is the reason we feel all these characters as real as possible!!
I think being hand fed by someone makes a bond with that person...I remember there was this aunty in my colony who I met the first time when she invited us to her house for a puja... She had called us for puja followed by lunch... I held the puja ka prasad in hand for almost an hour talking to her son n some others maybe... Something we all were really indulgently discussing... I was a big girl.. Possibly in 11th grade... She came.. Took the puja prasad wala katori from my hand n fed me with her hands in a loving manner saying... Tum sabse choti ho yaha.so I guess I can feed you... Her son gave me a goofy smile something like my mom might have embarressed you...I swear I felt I have never felt love n respect for a non-family member so instantly like that aunty!!😳 Being hand-fed I think makes you form that connect with that person!

I agree the fact that Nisha really brings simple real examples and yes thats the reason we feel the way we do.. lovely childhood memory Hershey...every summer holiday we visited our native place and the norm was to eat early lunch/snack and then dinner ..almost every day we cousins got hungry and my grandmom made curdrice we sat in a cricle and she just put it in our mouths so there was less spill and i have never ever been able to find that curd rice in my life 😭

Sooo true!! My fav most memory n habit is my dad hand feeding us sisters fresh fried fish while we studied!! His reasoning was we wont waste time in eating n study in yhat time.. N our excuse was we dont have headache to debone the fish!!😆 Till this date... I only eat fish when am at my parent's place... N till this date, my dad hand feeds me😆 Am wayyy beyond my age of being hand fed but papa ke haanth se I still eat fish.. I still am not good at deboning a fish kyunki papa khilate hain☺️ N both us sisters believe ki exams ke time papa ke haanth se khana is our birthright... N lucky for us!! Hamare exams achche jaate hain fir!!😳😆
