He called Ved, his Accountant in town, the guy did his India taxes and sometimes interpreted laws for him whn his attorney was unavailable,
he was a lawyer too, when R&B had an office in Gurgaon he frequently met with him
"Hey"
"Whats up?" Ved asked curious
"Do u have a minute?"
"We already did ur taxes remember?" Ved mocked
"Yep... I do, can you make a deposit in an Account I ask you to?"

"Sure! India or overseas?" he asked

"Umm.. here in Delhi"
"That would be doable" Ved said confidently

"I want u make a check deposit? I know checks dont come under IT department's scrutiny"

"how much are we talking about?"

"Not much, less than Rs. 1 lakh a month" he said calmly

"Sure, will u text me the account details?" Ved asked politely

"Most likely tonight" he said...

Hanging up he wandered holding the baby, the nanny handed him a teething toy "Main pakdoon?" she offered

"Umm.. nahi theek hai" he said smiling warmly

Lasya heard that being half asleep and raised her head and frantically kicked her feet, in joy the nanny hid behind the curtain

she chose to suck on his chin, he handed her the toy, she liked the raspy chin better...
he smiled softly cradling her she clutched the vee of his tee shutting her eyes again as he gently rocked her to sleep

Kept walking for the next 20 minutes letting his thoughts flow

He wondered how fast he could make that deposit, "What if she went to get gas?"
"How many bank accounts did she have?"

"What was the fastes way of figuring that out?
"The one she operated the most, where her pay was deposited?"

He scrolled on his phone looking up Vandita's number
And tucked the phone in his pocket, she returned

She looked for her phone... checked the calls

"Did they call back?' she asked

"Umm yaa something about toppings at Pizza Hut and
they only had one delivery scooter tonight so El Cazador might be a few minutes late"

"Darn it! Ab main kya karoongi? Its almost 8"

"Ask Mahavir or Santram to go pick up something else" he offered

"Paavam da kids they are so excited to be spending the weekend" she smiled happy

""What plans do u have for tomorrow?" he asked gently probing

"You have? matlab? Neeyum daan" (YOU TOO) she said grumpily

"Do u plan to return her?" he chuckled looking at the sleeping angel
"NOOO!! Main itni pagal bhi nahi hoon" she giggled
"Kudu da" she begged

He gently transferred her from his arms to hers...

"You made her take a nap?" she looked at him in awe

He shurggued hands going back into his pockets as he leaned on the rail picking up his water bottle

"Were u Nandu's favorite godee?" she asked

He half smiled

"Do ur parents like their new car?" he asked gently

"Oh ya... Appa doesnt let Amma drive it even to Malai Mandir, poor old car, no one wants it any more" she giggled

"I hear its the most popular of all Hyundais" he said softly

"I dont doubt that the loan took two extra days to be sanctioned" she said smugly

"Oh! really?" "Which bank was it?"

"Luckily Citibank, I didnt have to set up auto pay from my paycheck... to a different back" she said thoughtfully

"Huh!" he grunted

"Appa is still mad I bought it for him, hasnt said a word about the payments I suspect he will umm.." she stopped
before saying "He will make a large one time withdrawal from his PF and pay it all back"

Not that his PF would have anything much left in it after borrowing Rs.15 lakhs, after years of borrowing against it for various reasons😭

"Hes stubborn?" R&B asked innocently, his jaw clenched though
She didnt notice, she was starting at the chubby cheeks on her bosom

"Very" she said

"Did u tell him how much it costed?" he asked a silly question

"He probably looked up every bit" she said "given a choice, na gaadi aati na mujhe loan lene dete.. if I only listen to him
I DONT... usually... for good things and bad..." she paused after bad, maybe she meant Subbu? or himself? "I JUST take my chances"
she said her soft voice quivering with emotion. "that shall be my greatest vice" she said "or reward" the last
two words came after a good five minutes of silence.


"I am going down... did u meet Animal planet at all?" she asked immediately,
drowning out the declaration she was actually hoping for a "reward" from life's chances

"Umm.. no.. where is he?"

"they are almost done with the Lego Batman 3... no not done, but aaj ke liye, tumhe kuch peena hai?" she asked politely

"Umm no, got my water"

"What about Bourbon?" she asked smiling

"I had one before u came"

"Tum gussa ho?" she asked

He shook his head

He dragged her close and rubbed his face on her cheek punishingly he almost wanted to have the biggest showdown of all but hled himself together
She heard her groan... "gussa ho" she said softly
He kissed her fully on her lips, seeking entry she allowed immediately he sparred with her tongue... "there" he said huskily "I am not"

"Hum dono ke beech sulaye isko?" she asked earnestly

He nodded, letting go of her nape...

"U must promise to wake up in the middle of the night" she said devilishly

He nodded unaffected

"Itni pasand hai yeh tumhe?" she asked shocked

He didnt respond...

She went down to get the food as she noticed the guard opened the little "human" door on the huge steel gates

"Hes here... neeche aao na" she begged

He nodded

"I am not bringing it here" she hissed

He took the baby from her, as she left
She turned and looked at him once still unsure if he was angry or not...


The balcony was getting too warm despite the swamp coolers, he shut the connecting door and went in

Called Ved and told him its Citibank
He knew they operated 10-2 on Saturday

"can u get there at 10?" "BTW I changed my mind... dont make a deposit of Rs. 1 lakh" just Rs. 47, 500 or something specific like that"

The name's Ishita Iyer" he said

"Your wife?" Ved asked startled
R&B didnt respond

Once Ved got over the shock of why he would do that, he started speaking normally

"I am not sure how to do this I have no idea if cash's better or a check, I am guessing RBI wont get curious for Rs. 47,000 and such in cash" R&B was thinking aloud essaying his thoughts

"U are right Banks alert Directorate of Revenue Intelligence only if HUGE sums are anonymously deposited into an Account" Ved confirmed his understanting


"Is this one time only?" he asked

"I DON'T know" R&B said clulessly

He knew she would get a text alert on her phone, depends on how seriously she will pursue it on a weekend, when the kids were home

He had to take his chances, and he was GOING TO

But is he going to make her see that she is his wife and it irritates him that she treats him differently in the matters of money or is he going to fight with her and make sure she takes his money without actually spilling it out how much it irritates him the way she deals with his money
Wither way I guess R&B is not going to ask her directly...he is going to make her spill the beans in his own way...I don't know I feel this because of his love to attack on her and see her squirming in discomfort...I guess it turns him on 😛
Anyway a good time to bring this up...II is slowly understanding her lessons of a married life...first she learned that every marriage has its own set of family issues to deal with and no marriage is a perfect heaven
Next she slowly learnt that malcha marg is her house and she needs to accept the services like house helps that come along and adjust to living in a tab bit of luxury than DII
Now she might learn that she won't be dependent on R&B of she uses his money its just her right to
Though in personal life I wouldn't like to use my partners money just like II because it would make me feel like I'm being dependent on him or rather taking advantage of his money but practically I guess that's how it works...partners help each other and have access to each others finances

Lasyaaa 😳 she lovea II's jhumkas just like her mama..and R&B is happy and carefree and relaxed when he is with lasya...like a teenage boy...amused at her liking his stubble swaying her in the swing...hr needs to do something about having his kids too 😛 not very soon though...II and R&B still need sometime to understand each other or they still need some more time with just themselves

Money matters can be tricky in any relationship. I liked how RnB controlled his impulse to have talk with her. The way he got the bank information out of her, goes to show how shrewd he is.

But I loved him for that, goes to show his caring nature. 😳

OFCOURSE Lasya Batra did save II's ass this time around

You can deposit RS 49999 on a day to any account without PAN card details of account holder. It does not come under income tax scrutiny.
