Simple. Ishita is naive in terms of physical intimacy. The way Ishita character has been depicted since the very beginning of the show, it's more than obvious.

Well, Ishita is now a willing participant despite her naivety yet she gets jittery when Raman makes a hasty move. Because things are complicated for Ishita, it's not that easy. Obviously her lack of experience plays a big part but there are other factors involved too. If you have seen the second last episode, after Ishita-Subbu face off, this phenomenon was subtly hinted. Ishita was disappointed with Raman for delaying things but she immediately got rigid when he made a hasty move.

One public taunt of Shagun made Ishita a willing participant. Let's see what this current track has in store.

Why cant a man be willing to accept that if his wife has a past, she must have had a partner too with whom she was sexually involved with. Cant YHM break the barriers in this regard, why must a woman be pristine clean and pure even if the man has fathered an entire herd? Raman is a father of two who was a divorcee when he married Ishita and he knew she was involved with someone in her past, it cant be that shocking to him even if it does hurt him and shock him at some level to know he isnt her first...why cant YHM explore this concept?

There is absolutely no problem whatsoever, it depends on individual choices. However, that is not the story we wanted to tell from the very beginning. We wanted to tell a story of a woman who was mercilessly rejected by men without having a second thought and her not experiencing any physical intimacy happened to be a part of her deep rooted insecurities. It was needed.
