It made for a simple cute scene but progressed into something that was so metaphoric. Boy teases girl, girl cries, he says sorry and things get restored - such a cliche if you look at it but then it evolves into so much more. Ishita shares the story of how she became a dentist with Raman; the important part is the results bit here. She says she was declared a failure when the results came through but it was her Appa' belief in her that made him sent her papers for a re-evaluation which was proven right when the correct results came declaring she scored 98.5%.

How very parallel is that to her life too - Ishita a student who never failed vs. Ishita the girl who is perfect in every aspect, she has her silliness, her quirks but she is as perfect as could be. Suddenly she is declared a failure - she is declared unfit for a man she was in a relationship with for 12 years of her life because of her infertility. It is her Appa once again who paves way for her life when he deems Raman as a match for her; he even decides to go on a hunger strike against his daughter for her sake. The woman who was considered a misfit in a new household for her history with them, for her different background is now again being declared as someone passing with flying colors as she is winning over the hearts of the family and even the man who once detested her, just by being herself.

Raman jokes when he learns of her results had she bribed she could have scored a perfect 100% - but is anyone that perfect? Ishita loses 1.5% ... that could be compared to her infertility - one man chose to look at that number and give a skip to the rest 98.5%, while another man is slowly beginning to see that number, greater in amount and is learning with each passing day - how very fortunate he is to have her in his life.

Today that woman has scored with flying colors even with that shortcoming - she is a mother of two already though only one calls her Maa at the moment.

Anyone who believes Ishita isnt over Subbu is really delusional and I have no patience, time energy or even the inclination to get into a war of words with them, so if I do get a retort to this one be assured I wont bother to reply back not because I am too scared to react but simply because I dont wish to respond.
