Mata Rani tera lakh lakh shukar hai mere ghar ki khushiyan lautane ke liye...mere ghar aur mere bachon ki hamesha raksha karna prayed Toshiji, tears in her eyes.

Bas Toshiji...ab kya rona..ab toh hasne ke din aagaye hain said Mr Bhalla.

Haan bhalla-ji ab sab theek hona hai. yeh toh khushi ki aasoo hai. She wiped her tears and smiled, getting ready to celebrate baisakhi.

After months of nonstop trouble and turmoil caused by Shagun, everyone in the Bhalla household felt drained completely. It would take a while for them to realize that the entire family was now together and everything would go back to being normal, as the Abshagun in their life was defeated for good.

What a sudden turn of events...Raman was able to frame Shagun (for using Ruhi to earn money) and turn the custody case around. Shagun was so busy focusing on taking revenge that she didn't care about Ruhi at all..She had blackmailed her for the photo shoots telling her that Raman's job is at risk and that he will lose his job if she doesn't cooperate. At times when Ruhi was unhappy about missing school or did not want to face the camera, shagun raised her hand on her. Once when she was high on alcohol at night she hit Ruhi really hard that she had a bad cut near her lips.She threatened Ruhi again and asked her to tell people that she hurt herself at the playground. Ruhi however, couldn't bear all this any longer. So when she met Adi in school the next day she told him everything that happened and how Ishima was wrong to send her to Shagun. Adi was shocked and angry to hear what happened but told Ruhi that this is happening because of him and Ishita is not wrong but was helpless. He assures her that papa has promised to get her back and will definitely do it and asked her not to cry. He asked his dad to get Ruhi back somehow. Raman got extremely angry on Shagun and assured Adi that he will not keep quiet and won't let Ruhi bear this torture anymore. They had to collect some solid evidence to put an end to Shagun's wrong-doing so Raman asked Adi not to tell Ishita as she will get emotional and fight with Shagun and forcefully bring Ruhi back which is not the solution. Raman met Ruhi to comfort her and asked to call him anytime if she needed him. He reminded her that she is his choti punjabi sherni and needs to be brave while he brings this to an end real soon. Raman took Romi's help and they gave Ruhi a hidden recording device to be placed on the flower vase. With this they were able to record Shagun scolding, raising her hand on Ruhi, her telephonic conversations with her friends telling her plans and also recorded her drinking habits. Their lawyer reopens the case and show the judge the clip as a result they get permanent custody of Ruhi and Adi. Shagun goes to jail for all that she did.

Mihika is saved by Ishita, Simmi and Mihir from Ashok who tried to rape her after finding that she lied about being pregnant. They beat him up and send him to jail. Mihika had found and tore the documents that Ashok made her sign at the beginning of her marriage so Ashok cannot escape. Just before he gets arrested, an enraged Ashok, not wanting to lose the opportunity, tells Ishita that Raman works for him. She asks Mihika and she nods that it is true. Ishita is shocked and upset but hold back her tears as she had to deal with Mihika first. She brought Mihika home to the Iyers where Mihika told everyone the truth about her marriage. They all get shocked and start crying but Ishita and Vandita console her and everyone telling them that Mihika is brave and that they should be happy to get her back. Mihir gets all sad when he finds out that Mihika did not betray him. He tries to talk to her but Mihika tells him that she is fine and avoids him as she doesn't want to spoil his life.

Mrs Bhalla and Mrs Iyer met the previous evening to plan a joint celebration for Baisakhi & Tamil New Year's Day. They hope that the new year brings only happiness in all their lives. Sab bhool jao Santhoshi...bhagwaan ne test kiya lekin dekha kaise unhone sab theek bhi kar diya. Ab hum celebrate karenge new year ko ek saath. Bas Mihika ka fikar hai but woh brave ladki hai aur hum sab uske saath hai. Vandu har waqt uske saath hai aur ishu bhi. Bas, kadavule inime ellame nalla nadakkanum.(God let everything be fine going forward)

Haan yaar madrasan...acha hua ke mihika us kutte de aulaad Ashok se bach gayi...rab kare woh sambal jaaye...ab sab bhool jaana hai..aaja yaar jhappi paale good-u good-u oye!

Raman slowly stirred out of sleep. He smiled as he realized that there was a beautiful girl lying on his arm...it was his cute lil Ruhi. She insisted on sleeping next to her papa and ishima and they obliged immediately. Adi said good night and went to sleep with Romi as he wanted to tell his chachu all about his football camp experience. Ishita and Ruhi were inseparable since the time Ruhi got back from Shagun. She held her close, they showered each other with kisses, cried holding each other's faces and wiped the tears too. Ishita said sorry to her atleast a zillion times and promised to never let go of her. Ruhi also said sorry to Ishita for being rude to her and hurting her feelings. Just then Raman said, Ruhi...papa bhi hain yahan! She giggled and jumped onto the bed to hug her dad saying papa, u r my favorite u know that na..and then made sure her ishima and papa slept on either side. Ishita's leg was now completely healed...she was happy that both the physical and mental pain had been relieved...she closed her eyes but her heart was still heavy.

Raman got up slowly making sure that he did not wake his angel. He looked around to see where his Madrassan was. She woke up early, had a bath and went to her mom's house to wish everyone for the Tamil New Year and also check on Mihika.

He was happy and relaxed for most parts that his kids are with him and will be forever and that everything good is finally happening. But something still bothered him. His Jhansi ki Rani is angry with him and has not been talking with him since she found out whom he worked for and how he did not share anything with her about that and framing Shagun with the evidence that he collected.

He had perfect reasons for not sharing this info with her for he knew she would'nt allow it in the former situation and wouldn't be patient in the latter case. He tried explaning to her but she shut him out completely not letting him say anything. During the previous night, after Ruhi fell asleep he tried caressing her forehead and her silky hair but she moved away in one quick movement turning to the other side.

He was sad about it but became determined that he was going to do whatever it takes to make her smile and talk to him. He got up briskly thinking, Kuch karna padega beta...yeh ziddi madrasan hai itna jaldi nahi maanegi. I will convince Ruhi to sleep with Dada Dadi, will fake a backache to make sure that ishita comes to bed early to apply some balm, will make sure our phones are turned to silent and doors locked so no haddis come to disturb and...arey haan what if she goes to sleep on the couch when I visit the restroom? no no that cannot happen pehle is couch ko is room se goodbye kar doonga. Chal beta Raman, lag ja kaam pe!
