As u all know the story has now reached the crucial point...
Although the climax is very clear in my mind I am not sure how to go about it...
I have been thinking, re-thinking and re-thinking as to how the confrontation has to be done...
I have finally settled upon something which u are going to read now...
Kindly excuse if appears as a melodrama, illogical or OTT...
Having said that I am open to compliments and complaints as always...

Raman's POV
It took a lot of determination and self - restraint to take her hand in mine for giving it away.
For a second I was back to being selfish and thought of keeping her for myself.
The ease with which she placed her hand in mine gave me a hope of holding her hands forever.
But then again I reminded myself that I was doing this for her happiness.
And NOTHING in this moment mattered to me more than her happiness which apparently was not with me.
But here she was confusing me with her actions.
Firstly she readily accepted my hand while Viren was waiting for her to accept his proposal.
Secondly she struggled to stop me from dragging her hand towards his.
Thirdly she spoke for the first time during this encounter and the first word she spoke was Raman.
She was begging me to stop.
She was probably scared of the consequences.
She was probably worried about what people would think.
So I tried to comfort her by saying "Its ok Ishita"
I expected her to calm down and agree to go with him, but she was still adamant and pulled her hand out of my hold and yelled at me.
"Raman mai apki honewali biwi hoon" she said loud and clear.
It felt as if she was announcing to the world that she belongs to me.
I cannot explain what it felt to be given that right over me.
When she pointed towards the sparklijg solitaire on her ring finger I realised the announcement was not for the world but for me and probably to the person still standing with his extended hand in anticipation of being accepted.
Which reminds me why we are here.
I caressed the symbol of my love, the symbol of our allegiance, symbol of my right on her, realising this is what stopping her from going ahead.
With a heavy heart I had to say "Mai tumhe is rishte se azad karta hun"
Without waiting for her reaction, I tried to pull out the beautiful ring that sat on her slender ring finger.
Thud... no it was not the sound of the ring slipping away and falling on the ground...
It was the sound of something hard and fast landing on my left cheek.
Slap...It is called a Slap my mind registered after a few seconds.

Ajnabi's POV
I had literally not in my sense when I went on blabbering whatever came to my mind.
I could not stop talking in my excitement.
But she did not speak a word.
It sure bothered me but then I thought that she was too surprised to react.
It was now time to revel my true identity to her.
I did that with all grace presenting myself in front of her asking her to walk by my side for life.
I had expected her to immediately grab my hand but she didn't.
A close look at her told me something was bothering her.
I looked into her eyes hoping read her mind when I noticed that her eyes looked troubled and the source of her trouble stood right behind me.
Why was she looking at RKB?
Was she waiting for his permission to go ahead?
Why would she do that?
I knew he was an influential person. But was he so influential that he controlled lives of people in Delhi?
Or was she the only one who was being controlled by him?
I now started pondering on things that happened in the last 2 hours.
Him calling me out of the blue at this hour of night, agreeing to help me in finding her, interrogating me like a suitor, offering to pick me up and bringing me here were all like different pieces of a puzzle which I needed to put together to find answers of how, what and why.
How did he know I was looking for Anamika?
What was his relation with her?
Why was he concerned for her happiness?
Whatever would be the answer to these questions, I knew for sure that he had some strong connection with her and definitely had a control on her.
Anamika's reaction was a clear proof for that.
The answer to one question would give me tha nswers to every question I had on my mind : What was his relation with her?
Could he be her brother?
Could be! Right??? A brother would be concerned about his sister's future, a brother would have a control on his sister's life.
That could be the reason she is seeking for his permission, right???
I had that crazy analysis going on in my mind when he stepped forward and extended his hand.
She had immediately placed hers in his and that somewhat confirmed my analysis of him being her brother.
Their hands were just an inch away from mine.
The moment when I would hold her hand in mine forever was just a few seconds away.
I had already started weaving dreams of our life together when the movement of their hands stopped and she spoke the first word in the last few minutes "Raman"
Raman... The name sounded familiar...
Had she mentioned it to me in one of her conversations?
I am sure she did. But when? And Why?
With her next statement everything came running to me.

2 hafton me meri shadi hai,
Raman mujhse bahut pyar karte hain,
RKB to get his lifetime valentine on this valentine's day,
tumhari Anamika MUJHE milgayi hai
The very hand that I had extended for her now clamped my mouth and my feet moved back a step.
RKB was none other than Anamika's would be husband.
It was like someone splashed cold water on me.
Not for a moment did I think about the person she was getting married to.
I just appeared in front of her on the very day of her wedding, flashed a smile, introduced myself to her and expected her to simply hold my hand and walk off.

She does! She does! My mind told me and I concluded that Idid the right thing by coming here.
And then a loud thud made me unsure of the conclusion I just arrived to.
The slap landed on his cheek hard and fast but the blow was on my heart piercing and hurting.
My other hand clutched the car for support.
I had saved myself from falling to the ground but I was still falling...into pieces.

but again my habit of getting into the character and over writing has again pushed the confrontation...
