brother alex may have called her.. actually R&b was quite comfortable with this group in Delhi when they visited right he had split with M , so was fine with her, helping her go to Rishikesh and was on his way back when he found II in that train .he has split with her when he returned to india on Sams request ..
she is just a friend or acquaintance..
if she was a mature person and cared for him she would be curious to see his wife ..
so if i think he stayed with her for 5 years then split and is able to comfortably work with her brother and show the group around Delhi etc i think they split fine as opposed to subbu and mom case they were mean and continue to be the same. my 2 cents

something tells me it wont be such a big deal let us see 😃

The wisdom, the stories , the nostalgia , the laughter and the mirth that happens around the dinner table are exhilarating. The conversations around the kitchen/dining table have a special quality to it. Not only the food but the conversations too add / bring out the flavor .

For II to reflect on her conditioned upbringing before marriage and her life after marriage is so flowing with the narration. It's definetely a different world after marriage. It can unnerve you a little if it is radically different , a little guilt, remorse , your parents ideologies all will pop their head at most inconvenient situations the feeling of ayyo!! This is so taboo for Amma and Appa and here I am with my rakshashan doing the taboo, I will be an outcast at my patents place "and in contrast our rakshashans will go on with 'devil may care' attitude . Not fair at all.

I know of a couple at work that "used to date". They are not even high level execs or wealthy, she is the receptionist he works in product packaging & shipping.
They have lunch together EVERYDAY, he sends her flowers for Valentine's they are often seen sharing a snack. I see them sitting in her car and chatting on cold dark evenings when I get out of work, many times I don't notice them I pass by walking over to my car, she rolls her window down and greets me... Which tells me she is not ashamed to be seen with him after she has broken up!!!!!!!!!!!!
The dynamics are extremely different in this country, people stay friends many times long after they stop "hooking up". I know of guys that go over to their "Ex's" place to fix the washer or mow the lawn or repair the roof. The feminists can beat me up, but it clearly shows women ARE NEEDY. They don't mind seeking help from an "Ex".
Or if they are part of a "group" like R&B is... then many times the guy will go sleep at an "Ex's" if he has had too much to drink and doesn't want to drive after a night out.

I am still learning NOT to be judgmental. But yes, I WILL be judgmental about mean Desis.

There are many couples I know of that have parted ways amicably, we never know WHY R&B even dated her, I bet he found something attractive and exciting, to "us" she seems wealthy, bored and aimless. She is not aggressive and ambitious and talented like II, but she must have something that kept him going back to her for 4 years
He was based in Hong Kong at first, when his Mom jumped to her death, he left the country and moved to Paris

R&B has once n forall discussed n assuaged II's all insecurities with regards to this Ex business. This Clarity II deserves n should get!even if she doesnt ask ab! No matter how much of a non-talker you are, u better not have your parter suffer coz of ur past. N I dont care who invited this trouble. R&B owes this explanation n clarity to II - specially if she has turned up to ruffle a few feathers!
