Guys, I started YHM after IshRa's marriage, so who's Subbu? Is he Bala's younger brother? Did Ishita fall in love with him?

He is Bala's younger brother. Ishita and Subbu dated since her teenage days, at the age of 14-15. When Subbu and her mother came to know Ishita's infertility news at the eve of Ishita-Subbu engagement ceremony, they called off the engagement.

Well..
Subbu is Bala's younger bro wid whom Ishita was in luv for 12 years nd he dumped her aftr he got to knw dat she cud not conceive. He soon got married to a girl of his mother's choice and became a father of a son.

yea he is bala's bro... ishu and subbu loved each other ... but when subbu came to know that she cant conceive he broke up with her... he married another girl who was shown pregnant before ishra marriage...

Yes Subbu is bala's brother only...

Ishita was in a love with the guy...on the day of there engagement she collapses ...that's when in they come to know that ishita can't conceive.

After 12 years being in love with her subbu breaks the engagement for the said reason.. Acc to him after 3-4 years loves fizzles out and you need children to keep a couple together.

don't get confused with the other subbu who was roman's accountant or something. Also the father of mihika's fake ex-fiance. but I think they've stopped mentioning him as raman had him relocated before he quit and moved on to ashok's company.

Thanks for the quick reply, guys! I think YHM's Subbu is based off of Ishita's husband in Manju Kapur's Custody who divorces her for her infertility and marries another woman, later on having two children with her.

Mrs. Jaffer, the writer of the show YHM, made Ishita unmarried and virgin for the show. I guess Ishita's pregnancy track will be one of the biggest tracks of YHM. And, YHM Ishita is very different from custody Ishita as well.

Yeah, YHM Ishita is very different from Manju Kapur's Ishita. In Custody, Ishita was happily married for 2 years before her husband and MIL turned against her for being infertile.
