Breakfast next morning was an extremely silent affair . ishita woke aarav up as usual and made him ready for school while raman wordlessly walked to the kitchen while aarav was getting ready and made breakfast for all 3. Neither did he ask aarav what he wud have nor did he ask ishita if he shld help wid aking breakfast as he knew any 2 of these options wud lead to argument wid ishita which he did not want at this moment in front of aarav as he is after all kid.

Ishita kept silent too as she felt raman was still angry on her for last night. All 3 sat down and had breakfast in silence while aarav tried to strike up a conversation but was not successful in his attempt as neither ishita nor raman fell into his bait and talk or argue wid each other. Aarav was sad to see ishra like dis but he thought he shld let them be alone like dis for sometime.

Aarav went to school and ishita got ready to go to ngo, she cud not stay at home alone wid raman after last night for sure. As she was getting ready raman saw she was still weak in body and he mentally chided himself for forcing her 2 take dis decision to go to ngo today. He knew he cud not do anything abt it except for the action he had planned last night which he knew wud solve ishita's problems in one stroke and so he let it be. As ishita was leaving , she turned around and told raman-" I will be back by early evening , there is lunch in kitchen for u and aarav. And..."

Raman answered her saying- " thanks , I will be fine."

Ishita did not like him being formal and aloof from her and said- " ohk then take care."

And she left. While raman was alone in the house and ishita was working in ngo , their minds were not into what they were doing. It kept going back to last night's encounter and suddenly there was this sudden desire to be wid each other , hug each , carress each other in both of them. They started missing each other badly and wanted to talk, apologize , hug it out and end it there and then.

Soon raman came back to reality and started to follow the decision he had made last night. He went to the bedroom , packed few of his clothes which he had bought from market for staying here, picked up his phone and few belongings which he had and went to the drawing room.

He kept his bag on the center table in the drawing room and started looking at the house for the last time. yess , he had decided to leave ishita and aarav as they were before him , happy in their small world and return back to delhi. He knew this wud be his biggest defeat but he had 2 face it as this was what cud solve all problems of ishita. "she is so troubled becoz of me , I shld leave. Agar meri kismat mein who hogi toh shayad who khud mere paas aa jayegi. Main iss tarah zabardasti use le bhi jaaoon toh kya faayda.main usi ladki ko itna hurt nahin kar sakta jo mere jeene ki wajah hai , jisne Mujhe nayi zindagi di hai , I can't see her tears anymore. He said to himself and was abt to pick up his bag when he saw shruti barge in. hse had come in to check on raman as aarav had told her she shld as raman was very sad in the morning. She was surprised to see raman's bag packed and asked him- "kahin jaa rahe ho raman? Bag wag and all haan?"

Raman- yup I am leaving.

Shruti- where? Kahan jaa rahe ho aur kyun?

Raman- I am just leaving for delhi. I won't interfere in ishita and aarav's lives anymore.

Shruti was shocked to hear this. She did not see it coming from raman. He was giving up so easily.no this cud not be happening. She stopped raman

Shruti- why? I mean tum nahi jaa sakte aise plz

Raman- kyun nahi jaa sakta its my wish , my life and I am leaving. U r no one to stop me.

Shru understood he was saying this deliberately but she was not the one to give up. She had seen a chance of happiness returning to ishita's life and she cud not let it slip it away so easily.

Shruti- I know its ur life but u r the husband of my friend. So I can stop u and talk to u. kyun jaa rahe ho raman aise? Kal raat kya hua aisa?

Raman- tum soch bhi nahi sakti kal kya hua shruti, ishita was so angry , she blamed me for all the mess in her life, she said I was flirting wid u , I was snatching aarav from her , I have taken everything from her and broke her trust. she ...

Shruti- aur tumhe kya lagta hai? Dats it? Tumne yeh suna aur tum chal diye?

Raman- nooo u shld have seen her shru , she was so sad , she cried so much , for hours , I can't see her cry and that too becoz of me. She is the reason of my life, I love her the most , I can't see her crying becoz of me and my actions. I have to leave.

Shruti- "I know raman u love her that much and believe me she too knows it. Her outburst last night was piled up emotions of 1 year. She just let it overflow last night. And as for u going and solving her problems , it is nt the solution to her problems raman, u .. u urself are the solution for her life and problems. If u will hear what all she had done and gone through in this one year, u wud know she did not mean anything she said last night and how much she loved and missed u.."

After hearing shruti's last words raman cud not help asking her to tell , " batao shru kya kiya ishita ne? kaisi thi who?"

Shruti- "tum sun na chahte ho toh suno , woh zyaada impulsive ya passionate nahin hai and u must be knowing that. In dis one year , she has rarely let her emotions show completely but I cud see u and ur memories in every action of hers. She looks at ur pic every morning she gets up, in her beside drawer and keeps it locked so that aarav cud not realize what she cried upon looking at night and day, she has stopped drinking her favorite chai and drinks strong coffee like u as if to keep u alive in herself, she does not wear blue even if aarav is adamant abt it. She told me dis once when aarav cried and insisted on her wearing blue and she then told me the reason , which was that she missed u even more if she looked at blue. This is not it yet , she doesn't eat ice cream and says I will eat it someday wid somebody spcl may be in this very lifetime. She goes through all ur interviews in magazines, news channels and eveyr info she can find abt u everywhere. U might have been away from her all this while raman but u were never away from her mind and heart. It is as if she has kept u alive in herself somewhere hoping that u wud come and take her back one day. U know what I am going to tell u something which I promised ishita I never wud to anyone but can't help it. She ...

Raman ishita takes sleeping pill for sleeping at night, since the time she left u , she was unable to sleep at night so she consulted a doctor who told her to either get her problem out of her mind or start taking sleeping pill so that she can sleep peacefully at night. She chose the latter as u cud not be out of her system.

Raman was shocked to hear this wud be an understatement, his ishu took pills for sleeping , she had become an addict , oh god , he wanted to die at that very moment.

Shruti continued- every night , after making aarav sleep , she wud wait for 2 hours for sleep to come naturally but it never did and she had to ultimately take a pill and sleep. She did not even tell aarav abt it.

Raman was crying silently now , he said- " but I have not see her pop any pill since I came to live wid her , even at night?"

Shru- that is becoz since u have come , she has not taken the pill raman , she said she did not need one when u were sleeping on the same bed as hers. I asked her and she said , first night u were here , she was tired and forgot abt the pill and after that she noticed that she did not need the pill anymore while u are here wid her. She loves u raman , she loves u to her heart's depths , plz dnt leave her , plz dnt leave my friend once more , plz dnt let her go back to sleeping pill , crying at night , drinking that bitter coffee and living a life like a corpse plzz dnt go."

Saying this shru broke down herself and started crying. She looked like a true friend who did not want her best friend's happiness to not go like dis so soon. Raman knew he cud not go away after hearing whatever shru had said ,just then a question came to his mind and he asked

Raman- " but shru I did not get one thing, if she was in soo much pain , then also a small trust issue kept her away from me for a year?? She cud have come back , fought wid me and make up like we always did?"

Shru wiped her tears - "I know , ur point his valid and even I thought abt it and asked her once she then told me it was not only trust issue raman , It was something else too , someone who did not want u both together perhaps and she cud not say no to that person's demand. I dnt know as she never told me the name of that person but it was defo someone , nt only trust issue as she makes u believe."

Raman was stupefied listening to her , cud it be possible that ishita had left him for something else? Or someone else? Someone close to him had snatched ishita away from him? Who? Why? What the hell?

How cud it be possible and then his mind went back to last night's encounter and he realized ishita was abt to blurt out something but stopped , cud it be that reason??? Yess now he had an even bigger reason to stay there , take ishita back but also find out who did this to him? To them? To ruhi? Who?

He told shru- if it was someone from my family , then I promise shru , I will find out and believe me , I will not leave that person easily, I swear."

He was seething in anger .shru asked back- " all that is fine but u have to take ishita wid u , u can't leave her alone again? Promise?"

Raman- "promise shru , I promise , I will take ishita and aarav to where they rightfully belong. And punish that guilty person too."

Shruti- thanks raman , thanks a lot , I was so scared for a moment that u wud leave and my friend wud be same as last year.

Raman saw genuine concern and love in shru's eyes for ishita and he was now even more determined on his mission to take ishita back , it was just that this time , he had to find something else too.
