from a bad and worse mother like shagun, yes it is...she left ruhi with her father when she was 9 months...the reason for adi's psychological problems is shagun...ishita not being the mother of ruhi has more love for ruhi than shagun...that is mpther's love...maa ka pyaar dene waali maa kehlati hai sirf janam dene wali.nahi...

was it fair for her to take adi away from raman and ruhi? NO so I feel no sympathy for her. if only she showed even a little bit of "mamta" towards adi

It is important to protect children at all costs and if that means keeping them away from self-absorbed parents who intentionally and knowingly use the child for their selfish ends and emotionally abuse the child over and over again. Shagun cares about what's in it for her, she openly called Adi her "kote ka sikka". It's mothers like her who raise citizen who are menace to society and turn out to be lousy adults who cause havoc in their families.
Shagun needs a wake up call and it can't be soon enough.

i tend to be logical (despite watching indian soaps 😛) and i would've have said shared custody IF shagun was working. how is she proposing to take care of adi?
had she been even a little less selfish i'd have said visitations. but at this point i think shagun completely cut off from adi is the only way

For Ruhi no because Ruhi has no connection to Shagun and doesn't even consider Shagun her mother. For Adi, if Shagun wasn't so selfish, I think joint custody would have been the best option. However, the fact she cant give him a proper upbringing, then no. Shagun doesn't deserve any of her children unless she put her act together. My vote is yes.

Wat if shagun ends up commiting a suicide bcos of depression n loneliness if adi is taken away from her too? its a likely scenario. U cannot say d best thing is to deprive her of everything in life.
Or maybe she gets more revengeful.

Shared custody is a better solution. I guess that's watch mature people would do.

They can give Adi's custody to Raman on timeframe basis and meanwhile if Shagun proves that she can take care of his emotional and financial necessities, then they can review the case after few months or a year. Here she herself is not financially independent, the how will she give good upbringing to her son? If Raman has to fulfill all the necessities, then it is better for him to have the custody.
