confusion regarding ashok-suraj (plz clear my doubt)

when ashok first time told shagun that his brother was coming for their marriage he said "mere bade bhaisaab aa rahe hai humari shaadi k liye"...
within fews months bade bhaisaab has become chhote bhaisaab...
after mihika-ashok marriage drama... when near shopping mall suraj was misbehaving with mihika and ishita waha prakat ho gayi to give lectures to suraj then mihika said to ishu "aap jissey baat kar rahe hai wo mere devar hai"...
again on rinki sangeet episode in front of Raman, suraj addressed mihika as bhabi "ayiye bhabiji dekiye kaun aya hai"...
arey yeh suraj bade miyaa hai ya chhote miyaa...???
