"Much unhappiness has come into the world because of bewilderment and things left unsaid."
Fyodor Dostoyevsky

... it's good for teenage romance communication .. For matters that involve life changing decisions... An open communication between a couple is the start.

The sequence was cute and kinda realistic as often after a fight, a couple sometimes breaks the ice using some pretext or other as both sides are ready to bury the hatchet and move on..also they had Papa-ji's birthday party to plan. I loved the little sticky note one liner convo...I have done similar things(ours is email convo) in my real life, so can relate to it 😆

But there are bigger problems in their communication or rather lack of that needed to be addressed... About some words that Raman hurled at her the other day...but somehow Ishita seemed ok with it.. Raman was ok with it too..I would have loved to see a glimpse of Raman's regret/realization that what he had said at the heat of the moment to Ishita during fight was kinda callous on his part.

Also Raman hiding Adi's custody deal conditions from Ishita and also the financial impact of it... Is that going to come back and bite him .. Or will that also be filed under 'convenient amnesia' ?

Notes:

  • I still dont get it why are the CVs on this fast track when it comes to family or Ishra scene. Yes we know a big dhamaka is coming our way and we've been warned with enough of OLVs, spoilers et al...but what has been the essence of YHM is the build up to some track...so this too much happening too fast kinda is getting to be a distraction.
  • I didnt watch the Shagun scenes so have no idea why Raman and the lawyer messed up about reading the document before signing the legal contract.
  • Hope the Cvs slow down and give us some meaningful communication, meaningful nok jhok and meaningful romance...yes I want all of those be given as much importance as the melodrama bits are given
YHM's essence lies in its moments, its human interactions, its relationships and their complexities...not in just big celebrations leading to bigger dhamakas. When will the CVs get out of their current prime time masala mindset?

Nice collage..and yeah that scene was cute but really wanted a serious conversation...this felt as if Ishita has no issues with whatever he said to her about her spoiling his life.
Selective amnesia becomes so convenient for CVs...but they forget that their fans arent suffering from any amnesia! 🤣

Beautiful collages Gan!!! 👏 U are a QUEEN of collages in capturing the best moments of the episodes. 👏You make us fall more in love with these moments of Ishra each & every time through your collages..🤗
Well about the episodes!!! I have said this million times and still don't get tired in mentioning this over and over again that ISHRA are MAGICAL in all their scenes!! ⭐️ The moment these two come on screen they have to create something which more magical, intense, outstanding, etc...etc with each & every performance of theirs whether it is Romance, Intense scene, Nokjhok or even their rarest of rate communicating scenes 😉

But I have to admit one thing over here that there is always something which I hope to see in the episodes and I'm left dry without those moments!!😭. What all had I expected was one small moment where Raman would hv been apologetic towards Ishita for the words that he had said to her but Alas some wishes are always left unanswered. Everything about Ishra in this serial is cut short these days...😡 The feeling of completeness/contentment with a scene is something which I don't get to see these days in the episodes.

One thing which crossed my mind is thus Raman really trusts Ishita with things relating to Adi???! Coz whenever it comes to Adi, he doesn't share most of the important things with her inspite of ishita showing her support with matters relating to Adi... Or is this again a build up for the upcoming drama? 😕 Whatever it may be, I'm forced not to like Raman's attitude towards this whole Ruhi-Adi exchange thing!!! Now my only hope is to see a BIG Change in the dynamics of Ishita - Raman's relationship!!! This time CVs I don't want you to show Raman taking Ishita for granted and Ishita taking everything in her stride for her love for Ruhi & Raman... This time I want to see a strong Ishita to emerging out of this situation who is more vocal & rebellion definitely after her breaking point😛.

RES... to the YHM bullet train express, speeding through or completely ignoring the necessary stops and pausing for eons at the unnecessary ones... here's hoping the new tracks focus more towards the leads then the vamps and villains.🤢
--------EDIT--------

What a beautiful collage G, and your post is so very apt as well.👏👏👏

I'm going to be honest, I was on total ISHRA tunnel vision today, I think somewhere I'm just trying to soak up al the moments before it all implodes and I am crouching in a corner trying to wipe my tears with a blanket and pretending I'm not crying @ the fate of two fictional characters while convincing myself it'll be over soon... 😆

The scene was as adorable as we've seen them get in the past... really actually reminded me of the moment in the old building after her conversation with Mani when Ishu realized her feelings for Raman had changed and was ogling him as he worked on his files- that deliberate trip+ fall moment and eye lock is a personal favourite because of her feelings in that moment and this one was quite similar.

The moment began with their usual banter - I loved the silent communication , DIVAN are best with these kind of moments that require little to no dialogue, no matter what the mood and this scene stands proof of that. I loved the initial note exchange when we heard first Ishu then Raman say the words on her post it, not only showed different delivery methods for the same lines but the way the two of them said the words said so much about the character and mood at the moment- fabulous. Then their Tom & Jerry chase, similar to when he called her a witch and then the eye lock ... which was intense to say the least. The change in temperaments in those two, especially RKB, within a five minute scene was really lovely to see- from frustrated to teasing to lust to chagrin and then serious once more- KP is really making the most of this stupidity already. I can't wait to see what the rest of the week demands of him.

I am, as most of you are, frustrated about the lack of communication. Surely there is a deliberate reasoning for the CVs to take this route- so that when it all comes out the dam will burst and they will both fall apart as individuals and a couple, needing each other but not able to reach out because of the deliberate acts of omissions of these past few days. But for the characters themselves as well this kind of makes sense.

Yes ISHRA and RKB have taken long strides in their communication, but there is still a part of RKB that just wants to take care of everything by himself. Unlike with the accident track, he is not hiding this truth because he doesn't trust Ishita, but because he doesn't want to give her additional worry. His worry even today about her possible reactions to the monetary agreement with Shagun was simply about avoiding what he feels is an inevitable fight for an unavoidable situation. He knows Ishita loves his children but he also knows hat she doesn't agree with the lengths he will go to get his son. The fact is Raman is trying to protect Adhi and bring him back into the fold. Ishita is trying to protect Adhi and Raman... and Raman, he doesn't feels he needs to be protected.

And that is why he is making such fundamental mistakes in his manuvers against Shagun (and his choice of legal advisors). Raman sees Adhi as his only weakness, what Ishita sees is that his weakness for Adhi has also made him vulnerable to Shagun's ploys and manipulations- something we have all been witness from the moment Adhi was introduced. As much as the coming track is about ISHRA, ISHRARU, Adhi , the GKC concept and everything else... I see this as the track that will finally make RKB see the truth of his true vulnerability and for that, as much as anything else, I will watch.

Raman needs to face the blindness that his love for his son has given him, it will always be a part of him to some level- like her love for Ru blinds Ishita, and they both must come together and admit that in such moments they need the support of the other. They need to know and accept that that said support will come free of judgement and will that the worry will never be seen as a burden. These seem like simple lessons, but for two people who life has let down so much , especially regarding those particular children, it's a hard lesson to learn. And perhaps this is the only way to make sure that they not only learn it, but also never forget.

Random thoughts:

1. Was RKB gelling down his curls in the beginning? Wouldn't it be easier to get a trim?#Please stop these crimes against hawtness #Not fair #l need him to look pretty while he mopes for the upcoming track #Atleast give me a pretty puttar to look at #Fangirls against hawtness reduction

2. New background track... not really liking it. The BG scores just seems really off these days, is it just me?

3. Ishu's hair... NO!🤢

4. Old apartment mentioned: Finally getting rid of the curse of the service apartments? Back to quality YHM?

5. How many rooms does the Bhalla home have?😛

6. 24 hour deadline: Bullet train? or Turtle pace? Place your bets ladies and gents!😉

For nostalgia's sake... let's all take a moment and remember why we will stick it out through this track too...

Today's episode had elements of subtly which I really appreciated. It's just hard to keep your mind from being jaded when you can see just how bad things could get in the very near future. Trying to keep a mindset of tunnel vision, one episode at a time, and low expectations can be hard! 😳

Today's episodes highlighted...
  • Cute fights that break the ice (& the wonderful collages that capture them)
  • Ishita continuing to frankly speaking your mind without aggression 👏
  • The pride of men like Appa & Raman who foolishly keep money matters from their spouses
Also I miss Pathak - he would've never let Raman get swindled in such a blatant manner! 😆 Based off today's episode, yes Raman should've been more careful but he did ask his lawyer to check the papers (which in my limited knowledge of the legal field is the job of a lawyer...). Just like the 2nd Ruhi custody track, Raman will be implicated by association but he was not the absolute direct cause of he. He deserves to be yelled at for foolishness, but this Ruhi scenario is not entirely his fault at the moment (just largely)...

The CVs have again proved they just love drama b/c they are speeding through the sweet light-hearted scenes to rush onto the next kaand. Some of today's scenes could've been elaborated to give other characters more of a role, but no...that's too easy! 😡 The one thing I've realized is that in addition to the general loss of a positive vibe in the show, the scenes don't flow as well as they used to anymore which does impact the viewers.

@Anu - thank you for those GIFs. Those GIFs really capture what this show is about. For me it's about the trio - Ishita-Ruhi-Raman. Not a duo, but the entire family unit (with Adi hopefully joining them sometime). Seeing the SBB/SBS updates broke my heart and then that ominous "warning" that the insider dropped was not the best thing. I read someone thinking that the CVs could be trying to see what would happen to this relationship that was established on "Sirf Ruhi Ke Liye" if Ruhi was no longer there. I can see the CVs wanting to churn something out like that, and it could be beautiful but still is heart wrenching!

In all of this, why must the children suffer in such a cruel manner? Even if she doesn't end up going to Shagun, just the psychological turmoil that Ruhi will experience breaks my heart. In divorced families, I understand that custody issues arise and fights can be bitter, but in the show right now, there's a sour taste left that's left in my mouth with the way this has come to play. Khair chodo, there I go speculating/reacting off SBB/SBS videos so until the episode airs, I working on keeping tunnel vision alive & intact!

Prompt 1 - I think it's going to royally all bite him in the butt soon. The custody deals, financial impact, his current employer...all the things he is hiding from her will come out and likely in an unpleasant way that's not the conversation that we're so dying to see!

Prompt 2 - either when their TRPs fall, when the CVs pity us and want to throw the original viewers a bone, or never.
#Keeping lower than low expectations #So I'll always be surprised!

I'm already trying to prophylactically prep myself for this week's emotional roller coaster! Just from today's SBB/SBS/other news updates...

U know G at times I think this selective amnesia is realistic in households so that peace is maintained in a relationship. It often happens between two people in a relationship where one says something extremely rude n hurting yet the other partner swallows the words without shouting as she or he knows that the other partner will finally realise his or her mistake and make up for it. M talking about relationships n people who realise their mistakes (like raman does) n tries to make up for it. Some people have an ego big enough to not to even apologise.

This week is quite Looks Exciting ...kick-ass week...
with even Looks like well balanced episode seem Like coming up by watching today's episode & by spoilers...
yes with IshRa in focus & center of Attraction ... looking forward to the week

Im so in trance of Today start..Ur collage It Stunninggg...
Puttar in Red...Biwi in red in evening...all the red in the air...

Roses are red, violets are blue,
I'm telling you I love you so what are you gonna do?

will return bk on thgt about the episode...

Gan the Notes i so agree with them whole-heart...the major issue right now lack of emotions lying in the show...the emotional build-up they used to gave b/w the characters is quite lacking..
than whole run up marathon there is in episodes its too much to bear...is quite messing up & missing up good moments of the show...which they can make it bit classy whole sequence...
Going by last few episodes of marathon this seem to quite same...with all time celebrations these days...if they want more celebrations
-when will cv's going to celebrate Ishita-Ruhi or Raman's bday...LOL
im looking forward to some celebrations there...

Coming to episode...

what Lead to Both break the cold silence...Major part it lead to mr bhalla's bday celebration & the call from adi just changed whole scenario...
Im not surprise they end this cold fight like this...its always now became a case like this...while this fight buildup ending up like it ws always there Raman shouted at Ishu & very next moment Ishu asked Raman should she also accompany with him to the lawyer...
for Ishu it ws casual...he says alott things in anger...rambles or blabbers out..whole now Ishu knowing his husband well...has been shown like this...
This husband-wife relation is such that one tends & have to be like move-on...i feel if hold like this on everything that divorce may become part of scene on everyday basis...that she said something & he said something..& didnt said sorry...A couple relation if has to be like close friend that in friendship..we say manything but never break relation with friend...give a hug & easily forget everything...

Biwi-Puttar were majorly like this always not so addressing the issues even in Mani track or even when he took major step of divorce..Ishu not asked him what lead him to do this...
im not majorly bothered about this too...
I absolute Loved the moment of breaking this cold silence...Raman forgotten changed his mood due to adi's phone...Biwi always want to break the silence...but in last it ws Raman who broke from writing Note...I loved this unique idea of notes...cv's did quite a thought given in this scene...
I jumped to take this scene...big tym break gave to satvikness...I loved they broke silence with coming more close they need a tinge of romance in life...were so cutely exchanging those notes..all over the place...how they were putting each-other place with closeness...little exchange of eyes...tht looked intense itself...
than as broken the silence...Raman ka satvik-ness also got broken..what ws most needed dose in b/w them as couple...the close moments. it ws all gushy droolworthy with the closeness...
Beautiful build-up cv's gave for what's coming up... that ws breaking the Ice-berg they created B/w them with the silence after fight...
To the fact in whole episode actually they yet not end the fight or grudge of silence they had b/w them after that fight only thing route gt changed..they started talking...had some moment of closeness...but that Little tint ws there in whole episode in there words or more as banters or in actions...
when Ishu asks for what lead to shagun agreeing on raman not telling...& hide her...she bit kind of taunt him u didn't told me about adi's custody..she do care of Adi also...him again runaway from this question...raman had a hold on himself not to tell her & hiding from is all majorly after affect of this silent fight...& Raman shouting on Ishu...
let's where it will lead to in b/w them...
I loved all the small moment of IshRa they quite Bit of banters..they were Beautiful...more looked they were more in Love with each-other...more as husband-wife..i ws quite missing Raman's one-liners though they were different today...that fight after silence is still playing out somewhere Only difference they r now talking...But they r not normal...

For Rest of Drama..i got in trance of the scene 1 so much that i almost lost couldnt get into my mind scene2...
It ws Interesting part they picked up point of flats...its kind they r living there but rent is not paid so till he ws working in malhotra's company..that co ws paying the rent...interesting part they took this different rather showing they were thrown out of the house immediately living on road...
