Once again, i'm going to open a topic at the risk of getting bashed... I'm not going to talk about YHM's track or Shagun here. Its related to something that has disturbed everyone recently. I got to know about these posts condemning this track against GKC. So, i'm going to post my take on this issue and why its glorified in YHM.

First of all, i would to like to mention that i'm a girl. So, please don't decorate this topic by giving me new names that i'm an anti-feminist, etc... By any chance, if you happen to hate this topic, we can cordially agree to disagree else you can peacefully ignore this post...

I have a small query... Actually, i differ from everyone here... Why is this GKC rants getting so much importance here? This track has started... Let us wait for the message and then protest. What if Ishita gives Toshi back on her face when this track ends? Why do i feel that its unnecessary now? Let them complete this track...

Also, Every epi passes through SP before telecast. Do you think a channel will be stupid enough to take this risk? Also, these issues are realistic... An old woman thinks like that... But, others are not supporting her... I mean Raman loves Ruhi equally...

The question is not about right or wrong. The fact is that these issues exist. I am happy that cv's have this courage to bring the dark side out... Everyone in the world don't celebrate the birth of girl children. I have seen this... Not a grandmom but a mother has cried over the birth of a girl kid. A well educated working class woman... This is happening around the world. Let them bring it on. Let the society see how regressive the thought is... Atleast, then, these ppl will change...

Non-stop rants of Toshi has made me hate her now. I don't even like to see her face when she comes into the TV screen. This is where the success lies. When everyone starts feeling so, they'll understand the mistake.

The same show has given some brilliant messages to the society earlier. Ishita raised her voice against molester Parmeet... I don't remember seeing this before YHM. DIL of the house pointing her fingers towards SIL... Then, we had infertility too... An woman's life doesn't end there... It was shown in YHM. Now, Sarika's case... Woman can't be forced to marry a pervert like Romi just because he impregnated her... Why can't we look at the other side?

Let us wait for this track to end... If is gives a wrong message, i'll join others. But, as of now, let us wait... Let this track get its conclusion...

We should wait for the episodes to air...the track to unfurl...

However what I have seen as protests are againt the very thought...this is just not a current day social issue any more...atleast not in the parts of the country I have lived...so I feel the same...

Its hard to sit through these rants...

But if the channel is showing this as a progress to Ishita or someone hammering home a lesson...I would say ...so be it.

wonderful post kri👏👏... exactly yar...all are overreacting early...the way they dealt with sarika i loved it now..lady attitude. The way romi was given punishment for his deed by god is something commendable...

i said in lu jab tak bura dikhayenge nhi tab tak sahi kaise karenge message kaise denge...i mean only toshiji do gkc thing...any other person in bhalla house dont do that...

all are overreacting let them spread message . If they are not able to then go for all...

i dont feel people see beyond ishra...many dont like yesterday epi...but i loved sarika...and such a message was lovely by creative...

agar sarika ke sath galat hota hi nhi to hume yeh dikhate nhi?

issue will be addressed when they first of all brought it..

But, it is there in YHM because it is there outside in the world where we live... So,i'll wait for the message...

till when we have to tolerate this... it started on november end actually with adi entry.. still it became more jhap from november 2014... till now ishita didnt get time to make understand about GKC... ok leave that.. kicha.. for family ishita shamelessly agreed to go n talk to sarika... only after getting verbal slap.. she thought of confronting romi.. then JKR was risen... *thank god*

Raman love for ruhi is nt questioned... here question is y raman need a choice between his kid... wen adi is his right eye.. ruhi is his left eye.. but raman is only concentrating for adi... from the start... ruhi.. was an abandoned child from start of YHM.. till wen she will be abandoned... only because she is a girl... toshiji jhap of ruhi is outsider... where did raman or ishita protested...

i agree to this.. but dragging a issue for months will always give negative impact... eevryday GKC s heard.. not that it is wrong...
so the effect on people will be more than showing it in one day

pervy track was nt dragged for months like this... there we saw strong character...

this was the only thing i enjoyed in last 2 episodes.. raman romi toshiji really disappointed me... raman view on adi n romika

Let us wait for this track to end... If is gives a wrong message, i'll join others. But, as of now, let us wait... Let this track get its conclusion...

better to stop this track soon than rather dragging... in name of trp .. this cant be tolerated more... some dialogues from last 2 3 episodes already crossed the yhm concept border

Vijitha Rajan With the Chal Kar Pehel initiative that is going on which is about GENDER EQUALITY, which SP is promoting and being a part of....Where all the various SP stars are shown giving their 2 cents about how Gender Discrimination can be removed from the society, I understand why YHM chose such a grave subject for awareness...but please acknowledge the fact that...the team of YHM...Balaji Telefilms the way they are tackling the subject is FUNDAMENTALLY WRONG!!!! You are attempting to contribute to the society in making a difference, a change is COMMENDABLE but the whole foundation, the way it is being executed tuning YHM into a massy drama when what is truly needed to get the message through are more strong-subtle ways is such a huge disappointment.

This sure could have been a bigger, much more strong message had it been done correctly...especially with the whole #ChalKarPehel initiative SP is doing which highlights gender equality...it should have been done in a more smarter and creative way that going the loud-dense drama.

Nichi...your problem is against YHM's track and negativity... Not this issue in particular... Shagun has been in this house from December. Toshi n others agreed to let her for Adi... But, there, it was not GKC. Its love for a grandchild... We can't blame it...

Now, this issue is getting importance. She's ready to make a characterless woman her Bahu... (According to Toshi) Also, she wants Adi now because he's GKC... All that is gaining full weightage now... So, its going to see a closure too... TRP ke drama ke liye hum kuch nahi kar sakthe... Iss issue ke closure ke liye wait karna padega... Till that time, we can stop ourself...

Before I start my comment, I want to say that this is just a opinion and never take it personal or as anything against this post.

My dislike for the GKC rant steps in from the ground reality that YHM loses focus and slips away mid way of every track.

I agree with your point that such discrimination and partiality towards boys over girls exists. And yes, this track might also have a hidden message to the society but with YHM's track record, we havent seen one track given a complete closure. Param molested Ishita. there was a whole lot of drama but at the end of it, what happened to that culprit? nothing at all. I am happy that Simmi's blind love for him vanished and she has become free from him but as far as Parmeet is concerned, he hasnt got any punishment.

Next, Ashok, Suraj and Parmeet abused and tried to molest Ishita, shattering her inside out. we had seen her state that night but what after that?? nothing at all...everything is cool and normal!

Infertility issues of both Ishita and Romi havent been explored deeper.

At the start of the show, a matured love story, intense and serious issues like infertility and broken families and their issues were the main plots to be shown.

In fact, Adi's psychological problems and its exploration would have been a better and apt plot if only handled properly. I mean better advises for handling such problems. and sending out messages to such families. But for the sake of drama, they brought in the most unreal twist that his parents have together ensure that he feels that he has both like a family.

This track where Toshi ji keeps mentioning about GKC and the rest being silent spectators only insult the girl children of the family. I dont have any hopes that this track will get a proper closure and Toshi ji will eventually say that Adi, Ruhi and Ananya...sab ek jaise hai...sab iss ghar ka pariwar ka chiraag hai!

If Toshi ji realizes that her rants are unreasonable and says this, then yes, as you say this track is a boon and gives out a real good message to the society.

Just Ishita's lecture to Toshi ji wont serve the purpose because her lectures are always ridiculed by her own family members and none takes it seriously.

As I said at the start, consider this a very healthy response to your brilliant post. I am just mentioning the other side of the coin!
