Note: Another change, I know I keep changing the story but can't help. Raman had married Shagun and they had given birth to Ruhi and Adi.

Chapter 15 B: Humari Jaan

He needed me today, I needed him today. After the dinner at the dabha, all were getting into the bus when I caught him and asked what the matter is.

Flashback:

R-Adi ne call kiya tha and as soon as he completed the sentence there were tears in my eyes. I hugged him. I had met Adi a few times when Raman had gone to visit him in the hostel. Shagun never bothered to come, so she didn't know about me. I had visited Adi only a few times, but I had created a strong bond with him in those few times. He was a junior Ravan Kumar. But, sadly he never accepted me and Raman as his parents because Shagun had poisoned his mind against Raman. Raman had said that Shagun had died just a few months ago in an accident and Adi had also known the truth of Shagun. Raman was taking care of all the expenses of Adi, but Adi was still in a hostel. We had gone to see him just yesterday. He was slowly seeing Raman's love and had started to call him dad, but still there was a long way to go. And hearing that Adi had called Raman I was very happy, but why was Raman sad. I pulled away from him and asked why he was sad.

R- Adi ne call to kiya tha lekin

I-lekin kya Raman?

R-jab usne phone kiya tha to mein bohut khush tha par

Flashback:

Seeing Adi's caller id Raman had become very happy and lifted the call.

R-Adi. Kaise ho tum beta?

A-Aap. Sorry mein aapko nehi phone karna chahta tha? I am sorry.

R-It's ok beta. He could feel some muffling sound. Aap teek ho na beta?

A-aap ko kya? Aap mere liye kuch nahi lagte. Mujhe koyi nahi chahiye aur especially aap. Mein mere koyi nahi sirf naam keliye aap mere dad ho. Accha hota agar mai paida hi na hota.

R-Adi. Aisa mat bolo.

By that time the call was cut.

Flashback ends

I-It's ok Raman. Use kuch time dejiye. Vo yaha mihika aur mihir ke shaadi ko holidays mein aaraha haina tab vo aapka pyaar dekhega.

Raman could just nod his head.

I surely said some soothing words, but I myself was hurt, just those few meetings with Adi had made me a mother to him which he may not acknowledge.

Humari jaan basti hai Ruhi aur Adi mein.

Flashback ends:

Later, on Ruhi's insistence or my will I agreed.
