Hello my lovelies,😃

Some of you messaged me asking to complete this. Hence this update this update is for you all.😊 I just want to say even though it wasn't written as a love story, we all read it in between the lines as it was a take on real incidents, honestly those were my intentions too, I wanted Divan. But we don't get all that we want simply because god has other wonderful plans. Divans will be our favorite not as lovers but as great friends. We have to respect that and admire what they really share. With the recent turns of event some may feel that it has marked the end of Divan, but to me I feel it's a fresh beginning. KP has found a wonderful lady for himself and with time DT will also find her prince charming and it will truly be a happily ever after story for both. This might not be as as good as the previous part, but my emotions are now different from before and my writing will also reflect that.

Part 3

She walked in looking a little disturbed from break. She sat next to him awaiting for the next cue to shoot. The crew was having some technical difficulties.

"What's wrong" he asked looking at his phone, which caught her by surprise,he didn't look like he acknowledged her arrival.

"nothing"

He looked up at her, she gave one of those fake smiles again. He chose to leave it at that, if it didn't bring her happiness he didn't want to hear about it. He could sense it was something regarding her breakup and like before she doesn't want to share it with him.. He knew that she was a strong and a determined women but he also knew she is an emotional fool. She speaks from her heart and also take things to her heart easily. Even though she is an actress, her face always mirrored her state of my mind, as much as she tried to hide it he knew her enough to catch it every time.

"You know I think it's all falling together" he said trying to distract her distraught mind.

She gave him the confused look, everything according to her is falling apart and just what he is he referring to she wondered.

" I told you right about my parents trying to fix my marriage" he began. "yeah..." she trailed off. " well, I think it's all set to go" he said with a tone of happiness, which was clearly visible to her. " Omg ! omg, I'm so happy to hear that" she said as her voiced screeched in excitement, for that very moment she forgot about her life and became engrossed in his ." Thank you" he said with a smile looking at her. There were three reasons for his smile, one he was truly happy with turns of his personal life, secondly the fact she shared his joy made him happy and lastly it was because even for a brief moment he has made her forget what was bothering her initially, this made him feel good.

" Wow, this is so surprising, I never would of thought. It's all so sudden, wow! This is exciting!!! " she went on saying enthusiastically with a disbelief and happiness. She knew about the matchmaking efforts of their co-star, who he called his on and off screen brother. But it was only week or so back she heard about it and now it all falling together, was a pleasant shock for her.

"well that's life right, never knows what it has in store for you... you know I always thought it would be you who gets married first" he said reflecting on the recent turns of things.

She went quite as if he had busted her bubble and brought her back to reality. That is when he realized what he has said, he cursed himself mentally. So much for not reminding her of her pain.

"What I meant I was""he tried to rectify his words but she cut him short.

"You're right you never know what life has in store for you"

He felt the deep emphasis she had on that statement. He felt like a total jerk, he felt like he has just rubbed salt to her wounds. He even wondered was he wrong in sharing this with her now. Like he is able to read her hidden thoughts, she too read his and broke the silence.

"I've just gave a media statement declaring our break-up" she said bring back his wondering thoughts.

"Oh" was all he managed to say. Forget about feeling like a jerk, he was a total jerk, an insensitive jerk he claimed himself as he listened to her sternly. He could imagine how hard it would have been for her and here he was talking about marriages and things falling together. "idiot, idiot, idiot!" his mind voiced echoed.

" I'm kind of relieved you know...I mean this was all so overwhelming at first but I think we came to a good conclusion, it makes me feel little lighter" she said staring at no particular spot.

He stared at her. She seemed sensible and confident as she spoke, he became comforted hearing that from her. "You have no idea how glad I am to hear that" he finally said when she turned to meet him gaze.

She responded with just a smile, a smile that showed her relief this conversation with him just gave her. It felt good to hear him say that, It felt good to share her thoughts with him because only he seemed to listened to her where everyone else was making her listen to them. Listen to their advices, their sympathies and their intuition of how it will all get better for her. She was truly happy for the people she had in her life, she was thankful for their lending shoulders and assuring words but truth was rather then comfort she was looking for escape. Somehow that's what she felt in his presence.

He got up and excused himself as he a got a call. She sat there and watched him as her thoughts became occupied by him. He wasn't perfect, he had his share of faults BUT like the very few who knew him, and she too was also able to see his good qualities beyond his imperfection. Some might think he's such party animal, he is not the serious type, he hates commitment, he is rude, he conceited and whatnot. She can't argue against those because quite frankly that's how he has showcased himself to be. But those that knew him, as well as she did, knew that as much as he was a fun loving guy he held strong values. He's marvelous actor, dreamer, and a hard worker who respected his parents the most. Now his decision to settle down with their choice was only a mere reflection of that. She couldn't help not to admire him for all this. He is a wonder for everyone and he is even a wonder for himself. Just when you think, you have him figured out. He does something to remind you he's unpredictable, and his marriage is one such thing. Realizing that he was ready to take the next step in his life made her happy, happy for him.

As he chatted away on the phone with his friend, he couldn't help but look at her also. Both their life were at different phases, opposite phases. Here she was getting out of her commitment just when he's entering one. How cruel can fate get he thought. He was happy for himself for sure but he also wanted her to be happy, happier than him if possible. He knew how much she valued love, commitments and marriages. If these things didn't work out for her then no one else was worthy of it and he was sure of it.

But he knew with her state she needed time , time to overcome everything and time to get into another relationship. All he can do for her right now is be a friend. Wish for things to work out for her soon, make her forget her worries and make her laugh cause that's all he had control over. He knew god must be having something bigger and better intended for her, he just has to be patient and wait as the master execute his plans.

Hey amazing update!! How beautifully u have chnaged the dimension of their relationship to friendship!! Him and her in ur story has surpassed reality for me offcourse i still visualise divan when i read but they have gone beyond divan for me!! We all know they are now walking on different paths but just for the sake of ur story and if u wish to continue can their paths collide?? Can his marriage get postponed to jan as we heard her father say in one of the interviews and while discovering his better half what if he starts comparing with her and discovers her in this process simultaneously as the days pass by She also gets inclined to him and finally realisation strikes them that what they have is love and not just friendship!! Then what will they do as both have a heart of gold and would not want to hurt the third person involved!! Will their love prevail or die due to social preasure that i leave to you to decide but i would love to read the story ahead on these lines just for fiction and no connection to whats happening in real life!! This is just a suggestion if u wish to continue; reading ur updates i kno u will do full justice!! Just fangirling bc i also feel they are meant to be 'US' and not just him and her!! 😉 😳

Viji thank you for this part of update. As far as the circumstance one is enter new fate of life to start new journey and another go to and end. We can only wish HIM to have a happy marriage and HER to find her Prince Charming soon. Sometime she have to wait fo MR. Right to come to make her life more beautiful and sucessful. And I wish the wait will not to long.😊
