Ishita and Raman are behaving selfishly in the current track. 😔 Raman should not ask Sarika to marry Romi after what she suffered with him, and Ishita should not thrust an unwanted marriage on Rinky and Mihir despite knowing there is no lover or affection between them. She blamed Raman for being selfish in asking Romi to marry Sarika, but was she not also selfish in asking Mihir to marry Rinky? What was the big deal if Rinky's marriage was stopped? This is not the 19th century. Rinky's life won't be ruined just because her marriage to an asshole was stopped. No one asked Rinky if she wanted to marry Mihir. The decision was thrust upon her and everything about the marriage felt very wrong. As for Sarika and Romi, feeding on her emotions to make her agree for the marriage is disgusting, especially after the way Sarika was insulted by Romi and Mrs. Bhalla.
Ishita and Raman's characters are so inconsistent! Raman was all against Sarika marrying Romi before, but suddenly his mindset has changed after finding out Romi can't have children? The old Raman would never have done this. As for Ishita, the old Ishita would never have forced two people into marriage just because the marriage of her SIL was stopped, the same Ishita who was all for Simmi divorcing Param!
There is no exception. Raman and Ishita have turned as regressive as Toshiji in the latest track. If Toshiji is obsessed with her GKC, Ishita thinks a girl is worthless without marriage and her life is ruined if her marriage is stopped (that too by no fault of hers). As for Raman, he has zero empathy for Sarika and is suddenly all supportive of his brother with whom he was always critical.
The only way for this show to get back on track is if Sarika makes Romi work hard to earn back her trust before agreeing to marry her, Raman makes Romi understand he cannot take advantage of girls like this and makes him work hard to earn back Sarika's love, Toshiji realizes that she still has a granddaughter Ruhi who she supposedly loves, and whether they get Adi or not, Ruhi can and should inherit half the property since she is just as much Raman's child as Adi, and if Toshiji wants Sarika as her DIL she should also work to earn her forgiveness, and that too not by begging on the floor. Toshiji and Romi both need to work hard to earn Sarika's forgiveness. I am not against Sarika-Romi marriage completely, but it should only happen after both Romi and Mrs. Bhalla undergo hard work to earn her forgiveness and realize their terrible mistakes. I am not against forgiveness if true guilt and shame are felt, but I don't think Romi and Toshiji truly care about that they did. As for Ishita, she should apologize to Rinky and Mihir for forcing them into marriage, and realize that what she did was not right.
Seriously, this is the only way these characters can be redeemed, otherwise there will always be a sour taste in my mouth while think back to this track.
