G thank you for the message, it saved me 20 minutes of my life that I would rather spend here with all of you than watch some eardrum piercing crap on TV.

When the chatter began of Mihir-Rinki jodi I was kind of excited because I adore Mihir's character and wanted to see him happy but they turned it into complete nonsense. Like you mentioned in your post and others in theirs why not show that a family stands by their daughter supporting her decision not to marry any random dude because she is stranded at the alter and I haven't watched the episode yet but why not leave this decision to Rinki because the last time I checked it is still her life and she should be the one who decides if she wants to marry or not. They should be rejoicing that thank God Rinki was left at the alter rather than getting married to a fraud who would have ruined her life.

Would it have killed them to show Rinki and Mihir bonding over a broken heart, both finding support and solace in each other, slowly realizing that maybe they are developing feelings for each other. It would have been beautiful to witness a relationship progress from a broken heart to being each other's support in love and life, more importantly would it have killed them to show a woman who refuses to let her relationship status define her life, WOMEN DO NOT NEED TO MARRY TO FEEL COMPLETE! I get upset because there is so much potential in this show and there is such brilliant acting that I feel we could be getting something groundbreaking but unfortunately we are subjected to the same shit.

Gan pathetic episode I am so disgusted . Now it is quite evident that Mihir was pushed to this Marriage what nonsense without showing us that this girl is saved and carry on with her life they are giving us crap that lasted a decade ago . I just can't stand serials making women look vulnerable and helpless . Stupid move from the writers ! Because of Karan Patel I don't have the gutts to say adios to this show . I guess mihir - rinki was needed to put an end to shagun's drama. And also what mihika did to mihir was unbearable. Yes she did to save him but she had other options. I cant possibly sympethise with her. Mihir deserves someone better. He n rinky share a friendly relationship. So why not mihir-rinky? M up for this.

But YHM has been marketed always as the stereotype breaking show...right? I get that this is a soap...I have no issues against Rinky Mihir marriage...my objection is to the thought process behind it.

And to tell you the truth it IS needed in India to break the stereotype that a girl's family and the girl gets 'bad name' if the wedding doesnt happen even when the groom is a fraud...I have seen another soap where the girl refuses to get married because the groom's family asked for dowry at the last moment. THAT should be the norm...EVEN for soaps as merriage is much more than getting a girl married of to anyone available.

Even I like YHM...but that doesn't mean I can't complain when they mess up...
