I agree about the nature of this track, but idk if the CVs can bank on their original audience either bc in the process of chasing TRPs so many people stopped watching. YHM is #1 on IF but only by a margin of like 100 points or something. They've been openly chasing the #1 TRP spot since Shagun's wedding track as evidence by actor interviews, but they've failed to reach it. So only God knows what they will try to do next bc as of now this track has tons of good potential!

I loved Mihika's interview about the show but even she is exploring other options. Plus some of the other actors even appear uninterested in the show due to the altered presentation. Heck, even KP looked uninterested for most of January in this show! 😆

Idk I personally hope they stick with keeping this show fresh and not just chase TRPs (as originally promised by Ekta Kapoor)!

Could it be because of the hotstar app? I mean, all star shows are available on the app now, so if a chunk of viewers have shifted to the app, won't it affect TRPs?

trp aunties love sautan drama, which is why tanu is still around in kumkum bhagya. not just sautan drama, Trp aunties love when women are pitted against eachother e.g radha vs. gopi in SNS.

I think new show on zeetv doing well may be that can be one reason and how long ppl can bear repitative track.

Yup..I agree that last weeks episodes were less of Shagun.But the fact is that the Shagun character is still hovering around..may be her screen time has been less...but still she is there.And no one is also finding it an great idea of her shifting to Iyer's house.May be this over stretching of Shagun drama is killing the audience interest in the show and so the dip in TRPs.And then there is always an interruption in the romantic scenes of ishra ...that is also a reason.Too much of everything is not good...the CV's have to realize it.

I wonder what steps writers will take now that they now OTT drama does not work either.

Not only do they love an always right, mahan female lead versus vampy female but they appear to dislike a strong male lead.

Haha I would love to see a sociological analysis of what constitutes a good TRP show in India! 😆
