Thanks for the all the encouragement you guys gave me with my last two OS. I could not send a reply to everyone as I am Newbie and the forum doesn't allow me to make more than 10 posts a day. Once again thanks for your wish.
There are lots of spoilers going on about how Raman is going to lose his memory so I thought I will make a story about it. This story also deals with Ishra relationship dynamics with everyone I don't know how long this story is going to take. Please give me your update whether good or bad about this story.
Ishra Memeories - FF
This story is based on my imagination. Most of the characters belong to YHM serial some of them I am going to introduce seeing how the story progress. I have taken some scene from YHM serial as well.I read most of the OS/SS/FF. If one of the scene matches with your story do please PM me. I will change that part it might have happened accidentally.
Characters:
Mr and Mrs Toshjii Bhalla - They have four children. Raman,Romi,Simmi and Rinki
Raman - He owns Bhalla group of companies. He is a divorcee has two kids Adi and Ruhi. Ruhi lives with him. Adi lives with his mom Shagun
Romi - He is the younger brother. He does not have impotent issues like YHM serial
Simmi - She is the second kid of Bhallas. She is married to Parmeet they have a kid called Ananya. Simmi is separated from Parmeet as of now.
Rinki - She is the youngest of the lot and studying in college.
Mr and Mrs Madhavi Iyers - They have two daughters Vaindita and Ishita.
Vandita - She is the eldest daughter she is married to Bala they have a son called Sharavan and other kid is on the way. She is the Principal of the college and Bala was working under her as a Professor because of Romi he lost the job. He is working as a tutor now.
Ishita - She is the youngest daughter and is a dentist. She was in love with Bala younger brother Subbu for 12 years. On the day of their engagement she came to know she has issues conceiving a child. Subbu broke her engagement.
Mihika - She is a cousin of the Iyers sisters. She is in love with Mihir and is engaged to him.
Mihir - Is close confidant of Raman. He supported Raman emotionally for the past six years when Shagun left him. He is Shagun brother.
Shagun - She left Raman for a better life with his boss Ashok Khannan.
Ashok Khanna - Business rival of Raman Shagun destroyed him after she found out he was going to cheat on her.
Ruhi - Loves Ishita
Adi - Loves Shagun
Parmeet - Simmi husband for now but living separately as Raman has kicked him out of the house after he tried molesting Ishita.
Mani - Ishita friend and confidant he is also taking care of his late sister two kids Nirvan and Nisha
Subbu - Ishita ex-lover
Rajini - Subbu wife they have a son Praveen
Sarika - Romi girlfriend and is carrying his baby. She was also molested by Parmeet

Bala mum - She always tries to degrade Ishita

Introduction:
Raman and Ishita hated each other. They both loved Ruhi. To get custody of Ruhi they got married to each other. It was an arranged marriage. Their marriage was just a contract for them for "Sirf Ruhi ki leye" but after spending time and getting to know each other better they have fallen in love with each other. They still haven't confessed their love with three explicit words (I love you) but have shown love in different forms. They still have not consummated their marriage. They both are strength and weakness for each other
Prologue:
Mihika's plan to expose Ashok to Shagun works. Shagun is upset. She cancels her wedding with Ashok. She takes him to court as they were in a live in relationship. She bleeds him dry.These things take a few days. Meanwhile Ishita and Raman are on a first date. Raman is about to confess his feelings for her when he gets a call from Adi that he is outside some bar. Adi is unable to comfort his mother as all the court proceedings are done and now she is legally free from Ashok. Raman is upset and is not sure what to do. Ishita takes the responsibility and tells him Adi is our son we cannot leave him on roadside. Raman is amazed at her selflessness even though she was waiting for many days to hear those words from him she didn't even think twice for a sec to go to Adi forgetting her happiness. Raman gives her a hug. They both leave to get Adi. When they reach there what they saw shocks them as Shagun is lying near a dustbin and Adi is crying sitting beside her. They take Shagun home. She is put up in a guest bedroom.
When she gets up she realizes she is in Raman houses. She thinks about her life how she ditched Raman for Ashok even though he loved her very much. She is thinking what is her standing in society now is. She wants to get the title as Mrs. Bhalla because now Raman has everything she wanted. She thinks Adi is Raman weakness I will use him and stay in this house. She thinks she will use Adi and make Ishita's live miserable so that Ishita will leave Raman. She also thinks Raman will take her back as Ishra doesn't share a physical relationship so he is still in love with me.
Ishita asks Shagun to stay in Bhalla house as a guest for few days until Mihir comes back from out of station after finishing his work. Ishita says it is difficult for a child to handle an adult. Shagun fakely apologizes to her and she says that won't happen again but I will stay with you guys for few days so that I don't feel lonely in Mihir's house. Ishita goes from there. Shagun smirks and tells you don't know what you have done by asking me to stay. One day I will throw you out of this house.
Shagun is poisoning Adi mind against Ishita. She is telling him how Raman got married to her just after a few days after their divorce. She says I always thought Raman will always love me so we will be a happy family but Ishita is a witch she snatched away Ruhi and Raman from me. She tells him that he is her knight is shining armor and will get back her status in this house. Adi promises Shagun he will do that and slowly starts torturing Ishita. Adi behaves nicely to Ishita in front of everyone. Ishita does not say anything to Raman as she knows how happy Raman is to have Adi in this house. She also thinks Adi is child with time he will understand me.
Chapter 1
Ishita is getting ready to go to Amma house for godbharai. Raman sees her dressed in a beautiful kanchivarum sari. He cannot take his eyes of her. He sees she is trying to pin her sari. He goes behind her takes the pin from her hand and starts to put the pin in place. Ishita is startled by his actions and close proximity she tries to snatch the pin from his hand instead the pin pricks Raman's hand and blood seeps out without thinking she sucks on his finger to stop the bleeding. Raman is transported to another world where he is thinking instead of his fingers grazing her lips it should be his lips there to taste her sweetness. Raman comes back to reality when she is trying to put a Band-Aid on the finger. He says give me your pin I will prick all my fingers so that you can suck on them. Ishita blushes beet red after hearing Raman speak. Raman is amazed at the way he can make her blush on small things. Ruhi comes excited into their room to get ready to go for the function. Ishita dresses her up. Raman carries Ruhi in his right arm and brings Ishita closer to him by hugging in her waist through his left hand and they walk together like that to amma house for the function not knowing turbulence that is going to come into their lives in a few hours.
Vanditha godbharia function went smoothly. Ruhi wanted to do a ceremony for Ishita as well. Ishita was overwhelmed by this action. Ruhi did all the pooja for Ishita. Once the ceremony was completed Ishita hugged Ruhi tightly closing her eyes in exhilaration. Seeing the sight Raman eyes gets misted. He thought today is a special day for Ishita. He wants to confess his feelings for her today but thought to get a gift for her to give mark to this special occasion. He says to Ishita that he has to go and finish some work in office and leaves. Raman does not know that something is telling him to look back and commit the memory of his wife with their child sitting on her lap in happiness. After seeing them once again to his heart content he leaves amma's house.
Raman goes to Khakad's shop. He gets a simple chain with a heart pendent in that he puts Ishra picture on one side and Adi and Ruhi other side. Then he goes to a saree shop to get a designer saree for her but instead picked up a blue sari with green border and pink roses all over it as a design. He thinks even though this a not a very expensive sari his madrasan will like it as it has all their favorite color while coming back from the shop he sees a lady selling flowers. He goes to her and buys the whole jasmine bunch as they are his Jhanski rani's favorite flower. Once he is satisfied with all his purchases he heads back home thinking how surprised Ishita will be when he utters those three magical words and showers her with all the gifts he bought for her.
Raman while driving back gets into an accident and is admitted at city hospital.
Chapter:2
Ishita received a call from Raman cell. Inspector tells her that Raman had been in accident and was admitted to city hospital and asked her to come. Upon hearing the news Ishita got shocked and fell crying on to the floor uncontrollably. Toshiji and Amma came running after hearing her cry. They tried speaking to her she was not responding upon hearing the commotion everyone came and tried to talk to her but she did not respond to anyone finally amma shook her out of state. Ishita got out of her shock and was running to the door to get her car keys to go to Raman. She was fumbling to take the keys. Romi comes to her and keeps his hand on her and gives her a slight hug and says he will take her wherever she wont's to go but gently asks what happened to her and why is she crying . Finally Ishita blurts out that Raman was in an accident. She has to go the city hospital to see him. Everyone goes to the hospital. Vandu and bala are taking care of the kids.
When they reach the hospital Ishita goes to the reception area to find out about Raman. The receptionist says he is in the emergency getting treatment done. When they reach there inspector asks are they family. Ishita replies I'm his wife. He gives things from Raman car. Ishita is numb collecting those things and asks how did this happen. Inspector says it was a head on collision as the other driver was driving drunk. He says he is also admitted in the hospital but charges are filed. When he recovers we will take him into custody. Ishita says ok but all her attention is on emergency room door. When the door opens and the doctor comes out she immediately rushes to him and asks how he is doing. The doctor replies lucky the airbags deployed so there was no major issues for outside health wise but they are concerned about a concussion as he has not regained conscious so far. The doctor said he would like to keep him in the observation until he regains conscious so we are shifting him to a ward.
Ishita makes everyone leave saying that she will take of Raman. Everyone agrees to go on condition that Romi will stay with Ishita. Ishita agrees to it. Ishita sits near Raman's bed and looks at him without saying anything. Romi realizes that his bhabi wants to be alone with bhai so he goes out of the room. Ishita doesn't even relaise that. Ishita after a long time takes hold of Raman hand and puts it near her chest and goes near Raman and says we were in a competition as to who is going to say those magical words but I don't care about it now my heartbeat will stop if you don't wake up Raman. She cries and tells him I love you my Ravan Kumar and kisses him on his forehead and keeps talking about their lives, his and her wishes.
In the morning everyone (Mr.Bhall,Toshjii, Simmi, Rinki,Amma, Appa) comes to the hospital. Toshjii comes near Ishita and tries to send her home to take rest but she doesn't want to leave Raman for a minute. Finally Toshjii pulls up her trump card saying that Ruhi is crying at home why don't you go and check on her and take some rest as you didn't sleep the whole night. I will be with him. Ishita is no condition to drive Romi takes her back home but she tells Romi that she will talk to Ruhi but she wants to go the hospital back. Romi agrees to it.
Ishita comes to amma house to see Ruhi. Vandu and Bala ask how Raman is. Ishita says he still has not regained is conscious. Ruhi asks what happened yesterday. Why Ishima and papa did did not sleep with her. Ishita slowly explains to Ruhi that her papa is not feeling well so he is admitted in the hospital. Ruhi wants to see her papa and asks her to take her to hospital. Ishita goes to Bhalla house to get Ruhi ready.
Shagun had a goodnight sleep and when she gets up she sees that Adi school bags are lunch are not packed. Adi is still sleeping. She thinks usually Ishtia does all these works so what happened to that bhenji is she not at home and why the house is quiet. She goes out to find Romi sitting sadly she asks where is everyone. He replies that everyone is in the hospital as Raman is there. She asks what about Ishita. He says bhabi came back to take Ruhi to hospital to see bhai. Shagun thinks she has to take Adi there to create some sympathy for her using him. She says wait for her as she will get Adi ready so that Raman will be happy seeing him. She goes and wakes up Adi and tells him that his father had been in an accident. They have to go the hospital. Adi is shocked after hearing the news because he genuinely started liking Raman even though he cannot stand Ishita and can tolerate Ruhi. Adi gets ready.
When Ishita comes with Ruhi to Romi to go to the hospital. Shagun also comes with Adi and says they will come too. Ishita does not say anything so all of them reach the hospital. When Ishita reaches outside the room and asks why is everyone standing outside. Mr.Bhalla says that doctors are doing some test as he is still not awake. Ishita is really worried after hearing the news. The doctor's come outside Ishita rushes to them to ask about Raman. They says all his vitals are normal but are little bit worried that he is not up yet and tell her that he should be up in another hour or two otherwise they say he will go into a coma. Ishita after hearing this news gets shattered. Ruhi hugs are tightly. Ishita comes out of her misery for Ruhi and consoles her saying that nothing will happen to papa. Adi is scared hearing the doctor's talk and goes near Shagun. Shagun does not see Adi standing close to her with terror on his eyes. Adi takes hold of Shagun's hand. She looks at it and asks does he need anything to eat or drink. He nods no so she takes her hand from him. Adi sees Ishita hugging Ruhi and comforting her. He wishes at least once his mother would hug him and soothe his fears.
Suddenly from Raman's room they hear him shouting saying Shagun please don't leave me and Ruhi and go. Everyone comes into the room but is schoked to see he is still unconscious and getting wild with each rambling. They try to wake him up. Shagun is happy he is taking her name and looks at Ishita gleefully. Doctor's come in and asks who Shagun is. She says I'm his first wife. Doctors say that since he is taking your name you try talking to him. Ishita slowly moves backwards to go out of the room because she could not see Shagun near Raman. Shagun goes near Raman looking at Ishita places her hand on his and tries to talk to him. Raman becomes more violent after her touch and unconsciously starts trashing things nearby without even opening his eyes. Everyone tried to control him. Ishita could not see his struggle and asks everyone to stop and move from Raman. She goes near Raman and places her hand on his. He becomes quiet because his heart recognized her touch. After few minutes he opens his eyes to sees the doe shaped eyes filled with love and worry.
Raman sees his mumjii,pappa,Simmi,Rinki,Romi and Shagun. Raman does not recognize Ishita,Amma,Appa,Adi and Ruhi.
Chapter: 3
Raman asks what happened to me. Toshjii tells him that he was in an accident and was not in conscious for about 13 hours. Raman then asks who these people (Ishita, Ruhi, Adi, Amma and Appa) are everyone is shocked. Meanwhile doctors come to know that Raman is awake and comes to check on his condition. After hearing part of the question doctor asks what you remember last. He says the day Ruhi was born. Mr.Bhalla says but Ruhi was born six years ago. Raman is confused hearing this and tells the doctor he doesn't remember anything after that day(He forgot Shagun left him for Ashok, Adi is 12, Ruhi is six, He got divorced and got married to Ishita).
Raman remembers Adi as a 6 year old kid. Ruhi as a day old baby. He is surprised at his appearance too. Toshjii introduces Adi and Ruhi. When they come near Raman, he is trying hard to picture them and goes back to unconscious. Ruhi is crying uncontrollably that her dad is not remembering her. Romi consoles her and takes Ruhi and Adi for ice-cream.
Everyone is asking questions as to what happened to him at the same time to the doctor. Doctor calms them down and says this usually happens that there is nothing to worry. He says something like psychological trauma happened in those six years which he wants to forget subconsciously that is why he is not remembering those years. Everyone looks at Shagun with accusation. He says slowly his memories will come back for now act as though whatever he thinks is right. Don't push memories on him. Allow him to recollect it by himself. We will keep him in observation for a week.
Ishita follows the doctor and asks him to tell her his exact condition. She says she can understand better since she has medical knowledge. The doctor says Raman has a condition called repressed memory where his past six years are painful for him so he does not want to remember them. There are treatments available to cure them but initially we give the patient time to see whether he can recover all his memory by himself.
You family needs to help him. Instead of pushing memories down on him place things here and there in the house which will spark his memory. The thing I'm going to tell you is going to be very difficult for you do. Ishita says I will do anything for him. Doctor says he does not remember you and thinks he is still married to his first wife. I don't want anyone to correct him about that phase of life because seeing his kids and trying to find them in his memory itself send him back to state of unconscious. He will be more pressed to know more about you that is not good for is health now. Ishita with a hard heart agrees to it.
After coming from the doctor cabin she calls everyone and tells them what doctor said. Shagun is very happy hearing the news. She thinks for Raman health Ishita will go on her own from Bhalla's house. Amma says why god is troubling my kid whenever her happiness is in front of her it gets snatched away. Appa consoles amma and says everything is happening for good reason only and asks Ishu to come to their house to stay until Raman is recovered. Mr.Bhalla and Toshjii say at the same time she cannot come to your house like this. She is our daughter. Appa asks how you will introduce her to Raman. Simmi says Ruhi also won't stay without Ishita so for the time being we will tell Raman Ishita is there to take care of Ruhi. Everyone agrees to it. Shagun is not happy thinking that Ishita is still in Bhalla's house. She thinks wait and watch how I make Raman mine in front of your eyes.
Chapter: 4
The nurse comes and tells everybody has to go only one person can stay in the hospital. Ishita wants to stay with Raman but as he doesn't remember her she cannot stay finally everyone agrees for Romi to stay to take care of Raman.
Ishita reaches her room and looks at all the things there. She remembers all their nok-jhoks they shared in this room. How they comforted each other during difficult times. How their relationship have gone from hatred to enemies, to tolerance, to acceptance, to trust, to friendship and finally to love. Ishita then notices the things which the inspector gave her. She went to see what it is was.
After opening the things she let herself go and starts crying uncontrollably. Rinki was passing by the room seeing her bhabi in this state she calls mumjii and rushes to pick up her bhabi. Everyone comes to the room hearing Rinki shout. Amma comes near Ishita and places her hand on the shoulder. Ishita turns to amma and hugs her tightly and cries her heart out. Slowly she comes back to normal state. Toshjii asks you were very brave in the hospital but what happened now? Ishita doesn't want anyone to see the presents Raman got for her. Ishita tells mummyjii when I came into this room it hit me that Raman doesn't remember Ruhi or me. Toshjii says puttar have faith in Mata Rani she will make everything fine.
Ishita moves all her things to Ruhi room. She leaves the eye mask on the Raman side of the bed hoping he will remember the incident were both were embarrassed that mornings seeing her stitching her blouse hook. In Ruhi room in a drawer she places safely both the sorry card made by Raman and the gifts he bought her on the day of his accident. Ruhi comes and asks Ishita why she is moving all her things from their room to her room. Ishita explains to her that her papa is sick and needs lots of space to recover. Ruhi is convinced with Ishita explanation.
Chapter: 5
Raman comes back from the hospital. He is disturbed trying to remember his past six years. He also cannot forget the doe eye shaped lady with love written all over her face. Raman enters his room and feels at peace at last. There is lingering fragrance to the room which he is not able to place.
Raman sees the lady again in his house and wonders who she is. He asks Toshjii about it. Toshjii tells him she is here to take of the kids. He asks what her name is. Toshjii replies Ishita but everybody calls her Ishu so saying she moves away. Raman tries Ishu he does not like the sound then he tries Ishita. The name sounds familiar to him and he likes the way her name rolls on his tongue.
Raman is sitting on the sofa. Ishita is looking at Raman from the kitchen while preparing dinner. Raman asks for chai. Ishita brings him a cup while taking the cup from her their hand accidentally brushes and something stirs in Raman.
Ruhi and Adi come back from school. Ishita asks them to go and freshen up. Meanwhile she places snacks and milk for them on the table for them to eat. The kids come and have their snack once they finish Raman calls them to come near him. They both go near him he touches the kids from head to toe trying to see if there is any connection as he got with Ishita. He tells them that he does not remember after Adi and Ruhi 6 year of life so he asks them to tell him about themselves.
Upon hearing the words Ishita rushes to mummyjii and asks her to come and stop the kids from telling anything to Raman. Toshjii comes and sends the kids to study. Ishita is helping Ruhi with her work. Adi is seeing this and thinking why doesn't my mother sit with me and help me with my studies.
Shagun comes back from shopping and gives expensive gifts to kids. Raman asks why you are spoiling the kids. She replies don't stress yourself I bought gifts for them so that they don't feel they are not wanted as you were in hospital and could not spend time with kids.
During dinner Mr.Bhalla is sitting on the head of the table on to his right Toshjii is sitting. On to the left Raman is sitting then Ruhi,Adi and Shagun. Next to Toshjii Simmi,Rinki and Romi are sitting. Ishita is serving them dinner. She places food on everyone plate. When she comes near Raman he feels a soothing fragrance near him and closes his eyes to try and see where he got that smell before but the memory is still hazy for him.
Ruhi looking at papa not eating food from his plate is worried. She thinks how Ishima said that papa is not feeling well so takes a bite from his plate and takes it to his mouth to feed him. Raman opens his eyes to see his little girl with food on her to feed him he opens his mouth for her to keep the morsel. When her little hand touches his mouth suddenly a memory comes back to him of her feeding him in the night. He is crying and hugging her. He doesn't remember the conversation what happened then but he could clearly see his girl in the picture and how she is trying to soothe him. He looks at Ruhi and tells her he is very sorry he forgot about her growing years but one memory of her feeding him has come back. Everybody is happy hearing the news.
Chapter: 6
Shagun is happy that Raman is not remembering Ishita. She is busy throwing kitty parties and going to the spa. She doesn't have enough time to spend with Adi so she stopped poisoning his mind against Ishita.
Ishita is working in the kitchen. Raman is sitting on the sofa watching cricket match. Shagun sees this and thinks now I will show Ishita that I'm his wife. She goes near Raman and touches his hand looking at Ishita. She doesn't see the repulsive look in Raman's eyes before it is masked by him. He slowly removes his handa and moves away from her without her knowing seeing this Ishita smiles. Ishita thinks even though your mind is not remembering me your heart still belongs to me that is why you cannot bear her touch. Shagun is confused why Ishita is smiling when she is sitting beside Raman.
The kids come back from school. Ishita is helping Ruhi with her homework. She sees Adi struggling with some work. She goes near him and sees it is a science project. She asks can she help him. Adi is surprised that she is coming to help him after all the grief he has given her. He also thinks she is not acting in front of my dad to be in his good books because he doesn't remember her. Adi agrees for her help. They start doing the project. Ishita makes it interesting and easy for him to understand. Shagun sees this but thinks as Ishita is doing nanny work she is not bothered about it. Once the project is finished Adi thanks her. A very small soft corner is formed for her in his heart.
The next day Adi comes back from school. He rushes home calling mom where are you. Shagun says I'm in the room. He rushes to her and says I got first prize in the project. She says congrats and gives him 10,000 rupees to celebrate with his friends. Adi is happy and takes the money. He goes to his dad and tells the same thing. Raman is still not able to remember him so he gives him a hand shake and says good work.
Adi comes out the room and sees Ruhi coming in excited saying she got good marks in her test. Ishita takes her in a bear hug and kisses on her forehead. Adi without realizing slowly move towards Ishita and stands in front of her. Ishita asks do you need anything beta. He says he got first prize in the project. Ishita without thinking hugs and kisses him on the forehead that is when Adi realized nobody had hugged him or loved him for any of his deeds. His mom always gave him money. He starts crying hugging Ishita tightly. Ishita asks what happened beta? he says sorry for the all trouble I caused you please forgive me. Ishita says what is there to forgive you. You are my son so I don't have any grudges against you. Adi is amazed at her. He now knows why Ruhi is so much in love with her Ishimaa. He still cannot think her as Ishimaa for him as Shagun is his mom. Adi accepted Ishita as Ruhi mom, his dad wife and his Ishita aunty.
Shagun seeing this is fuming in anger. She says you took my son from me see how I will make you cry. It is nighttime everybody finished dinner. Ishita puts the kids to bed. She comes and starts cleaning the kitchen with the help of Simmi and Rinki. Shagun is still angry with Ishita because Adi is not listening to her when she says bad things about Ishita. Shagun calls Raman and says since you are feeling okay now we will sleep in our room. Everyone is shocked hearing this. Toshjii says Raman is still not feeling better he still needs space you can still sleep in Adi room. Shagun is adamant that she will sleep with Raman. Raman has no choice. He goes with Shagun to his room. Shagun smiles evilly to Ishita. She comes near her and says for her hears only today I am going to make Raman mine. Shagun moves towards the room and closes the door.
Ishita is shocked. Everyone is looking at her what to do. Ishita puts up a brave face for everyone. She says don't worry please go to sleep. She comforts everyone saying that she has full faith in Raman. She goes to Ruhi room then cries her heart out. Finally she hugs Ruhi. She gets a small measure of comfort. She slowly drifts to sleep hugging Ruhi.
Shagun is happy coming into his room without him scolding or insulting her. She thinks I will show that bhenjii how I will make Raman mine tonight so that even if he gets his memory back he will not let me go because of conscious. She slowly moves towards Raman thinking that.
Raman feels really uncomfortable with Shagun in the room something in him tells that this is wrong she doesn't belong in this room. When Shagun comes near him he says you go to sleep I will come after seeing the match. Shagun agrees to it thinking anyways he is going to come back to her in two hours while waiting for Raman she sleeps.
Raman feels elated once he comes out the room. He watches tv for some time. After two hours he does not know what to do prolong him from going to the room. His feet slowly move towards his room. He stops in front of Ruhi's room. He thinks I will kiss Ruhi goodnight. He enters the room there he sees Ishita holding Ruhi in a hug and sleeping. This scene gives him peace to his aching(troubled) heart. He slides down besides Ruhi to give her a kiss. He pulls Ruhi towards him Ishita also like a magnet attached to Ruhi comes near him. He thinks it is peaceful in this room. He thinks he will close his eyes for a few minutes in this peaceful room before going to his room. This comfort puts him to sleep on the bed just like old times. He sleeps on the left side Ishita on the right and Ruhi in the middle. In their sleep their hands intertwine on top of Ruhi.
After a lot of days Ishita, Raman and Ruhi slept contented and peacefully.
Chapter: 7
Ishita gets up in the morning and is happy to see Raman sleeping besides her and Ruhi. Ishita slowly gets up from bed as to not to disturb both of them. She goes down to start her work after sometime there comes a shout from Ruhi's room "Ishita "Mere kapade khan hey" (Ishita, Where are my clothes). Everyone is shocked to hear this shouting because of late they could not hear these words from Raman. Everyone rushes to Ruhi's room to see whether Raman got back his memoires but he was still sleeping and talking in his sleep. Ruhi is trying to wake him up.
Raman gets up to see people standing around him and gets tensed and asks what happened. They say he was talking in his sleep. He says he doesn't remember what he was talking about. Everyone leaves the room. The last one to leave the room was Ishita. She kept turning and looking back at Raman. Raman felt that her eyes were trying to tell him something but he could not decipher it nor he could take his eyes from her.
In the evening once the kids finished homework they wanted to play games with Raman. Ruhi brought the video games to be hooked up to the console. Ruhi and Raman were in a team playing against Adi. Adi won the match he was shouting excitedly and hugged Raman that is when Raman remembers Adi holding his hands and asking him to stay with him after the hospital incident. Raman tells to Adi that he remembers him now but lots of the incident he doesn't remember fully as Raman is talking about someone to Adi but he doesn't know who it is about. Adi thinks I got my father's love after a long time. He thinks and prays to god even if my father remembers everything he should not be angry with me for the things I have done to Ishita aunty. He also thinks as Ishita aunty forgave him she will make sure he has his papa's love him like Ruhi.
The next day Mihir comes back from Mumbai. He doesn't know that Raman was in an accident and has lost his memories. He comes back home calling bhai and bhabi. Raman is coming from his room he sees Mihir and hugs him and asks why he is calling his sister bhabi. Mihir is explaning to him that even though she is his sister but he likes to call her bhabi as she is his brother's wife. Raman is getting confused as he has not seen Mihir calling Shagun bhabi just then Ishita comes from Ruhi room. Mihir moves towards Ishita calling her bhabi I am angry with you. You always have time for your chotti devar( he is not taking Romi name as he pulling Ishita leg) but never for me. I have three relationships with you and you don't even ask me how I am doing or giving me a hug to welcome me home.
Raman is standing baffled after hearing part of Mihir conversation. He does not understand why Mihir is calling Ishita bhabi. Ishita is in a dilemma how to reveal to Mihir what is happening at home without Raman knowing it. Ishita takes Mihir in a hug and quietly tells him to play along with her and she will explain everything to him once they are alone. Ishita comes out of the hug and says to him she is happy seeing him. Raman asks why you called her bhabi and why are saying you have three different relationships with her. Mihir is seriously thinking why bhai is asking these types of silly questions before he can answer Ishita interrupts him and tells Raman when I came to this house to take care of Ruhi he became my friend first during Rakshabandan he became a brother to me. He also calls me bhabi out of his love and respect for me that is why he said he has three relationships with me.
Raman is not satisfied with the third answer but for now agrees to it but a small doubt is formed at the back of his my mind about Ishita being in his home. Raman tells to Mihir he needs to go out as he has been stuck in the house for few days. He says I will change and come we will go for a drive. Raman goes to his room. Ishita explains to Mihir that Raman has lost his memories for the past six years and how doctor has told them not to put stress on his condition. Mihir says don't worry bhabi I understand it is you who is suffering much more than bhai but as usual for bhai and Ruhi you won't open your mouth to tell your hardship. I will take good care of him when we are outside so please don't worry about him.
They both were travelling in a car suddenly Raman asks Mihir to stop the car and gets down on the road. He remembers that he danced on this road on a stormy night with a lady for the song "Kabhi jo badal". He cannot see the ladies face clearly but he could see from the movements that they were in starting stages of love. He definitely knows that it was not Shagun. Raman is confused but doesn't tell anything to Mihir. He sits on the car they drive for some time. He hears songs from Murgan temple nearby. He tells Mihir he wants to go that temple.
Once they reach the temple flashes comes for him. His head starts spinning. He holds his head and sits on the steps. Mihir is worried for him now and asks shall we go back home Raman says he is okay he wants to go inside the temple.
When he reaches the altar a memory clearly come for him. He is in veshti taking a lady who is beautifully dressed in a red sari in his hands and he was walking around the fire asking her to be his for all his seven life. He is joking around her saying he wants here towel to be in bathroom. Her clothes need to be kept in his cupboard. He says he will eat idly and Smbhar for rest of his life. He still cannot see the lady in the picture clearly but he can see clearly love pouring out of them instead of the starting stages in the stormy night. He now knows that is the same lady. Raman is worried now thinking was he cheating on Shagun. Raman cannot handle his emotions he sits on the temple floor and starts crying. Mihir is worried as Raman was in a trance and now he is crying. He asks bhai what happened. Raman says Mihir tell me the truth did I cheat on Shagun. Mihir is shocked after hearing this.
He asks why you are asking this bhai. Raman tells him I get flashes of this lady I cannot see her face clearly but I know I am in love with her. I also know for a fact that is not Shagun because I cannot stand her. I am sorry it is difficult for you to hear this as you are her brother. I don't know what happened in these six years but I used to love her and pamper all her wishes but I know for sure what I felt for Shagun is not love but infatuations for her beauty but the lady I am seeing in flashes is my love.
Mihir understands that he is talking about Ishita bhabi. He marvelous at the way the heart has accepted the reality of those six years even though his mind has to catch up to it. He also thinks if Raman bhai could remember he would not have said he loves bhabi without telling her first. He says to Raman nothing like that happened. Mihir emphasis he did not cheat on Shagun. He also tells him that because of his accident he may be remembering things which are not related to his life. Mihir says just give sometime you will know when you get to see the clear picture of the lady in your memories.
Raman is satisfied with his explanation. He asks Mihir not to tell anything he said in the temple to anyone. Mihir promises him that he won't tell and they leave to go back home.
Chapter: 8
Ishita is alone at home with kids. Mihir and Raman have gone out. Toshjii and Mr.Bhalla have gone to Pammi house. Rinki has gone to college. Simmi has gone for shopping with Anayna. Shagun has gone out with a friend.
Romi had fallen from his bike and is injured. He doesn't want to tell anyone about it. He sees there is no one at home so he goes quietly to his room. He tries to do first aid by himself. Ruhi and Shravan come there and sees there chachu trying to put ointment on his wounds. They help him with it. Romi tries not to show the pain before the kids but the way they care for him makes his eyes watery.
Ishita comes looking for the kids and sees Romi injured. She asks why he did not go to the doctor to get this treated. Romi says bhabi I did not want to add more stress in the house. These are only minor injuries it can be treated at home.
Ishita takes the medicine from Ruhi and starts applying to Romi. She makes sure nothing is broken in his body. She gives him pain killers. Romi is asking where is everyone she tells him where they are. He says bhabi can I ask you something Ishita says sure you can.
Bhabi don't get me wrong do you think about kids? Do you want to have one? Is it a big responsibility? Ishita is not sure where Romi is going with these type of questions but thinks about it and says I always wanted to have kids. Kids are life they can bring immense happiness to oneself. Ruhi came into my life and started fulfilling that need for me so now I don't think about having kids because I have one already. I get angry at people who don't take responsibility for their kids. It is a big responsibility as you have another person life in your hands.
Ishita asks why you are asking such questions. Romi says he got emotional after seeing Ruhi and Sharvu putting on medicines for him. He was thinking about kids and life in general. Ishita says ok if you need anything please let me know I will be outside you take rest.
Romi is thinking about Sarika and his responsibility towards his kids. He thinks how his bhabi has taken someone else child and raising her as her own child whereas he is not responsible for his own kids. He thinks he has to talk with Sarika and find a solution for it. He wants to make up for his mistakes.
Ishita is passing by Adi room. Adi calls her she goes into the room. Adi is very hesitant to talk to her. Ishita sits near him and waits for him to talk. Adi slowly tells Ishita that Raman remembered him he also remembered part of the conversation but he could not remember who he was talking about. Ishita realizes that Raman was talking about her. She asks is this conversation related to me Adi says yes. She asks what the problem is. He says dad was advising me about how to behave properly with you on that conversation. My problem is after a long time I am able to talk with my dad if he remembers the whole conversion I am afraid he won't love me. Adi is not even sure why he is telling everything to her. Ishita takes him in a hug and comforts him saying that your dad loves you very much. He just wanted you to learn manners and if he sees you now he will be happy. Adi is happy hearing those words and for the hug. He feels contented and comforted in her hug.
Chapter: 9
Raman is asking can you tell me Mihir how come my physical appearance has changed. Mihir says six years back you wanted to change everything about you so you joined a gym to change your appearance. Raman is slowly absorbing this. Raman asks am I still working for Ashok khanna group of companies. Mihir without answering takes him to the headquarters of Bhalla group of companies. He takes him to Raman cabin and asks him to sit in his chair. Raman is wondering whose companies it is as it has the same sir name as him but once he sits on the chair he realizes he owns the company. He asks Mihir when did this happen. Mihir says you started the company six years back. It is now one of the leading companies in India.
Raman is happy hearing this news and closes his eyes. Raman memory regarding all his company works comes back to him. They leave to go home Raman asks Mihir to stop in Ishita favorite ice-cream shop. He orders their favorite ice-cream for everyone. He thinks about Ishita and orders black current ice-cream. Mihir is surprised as his bhai is ordering his bhabi favorite ice-cream. He asks whom he did buy this ice-cream for Raman tells Ishita. Mihir asks why this flavor for her as it is not a common flavor. Raman tells him I bought favorite flavors for everyone but I don't know Ishita but I think she will like this one. Mihir marvelous at the connection his bhai has with his bhabi.
Toshjii is worried about her kid's life. Toshjii is saying to Pammi that Simmi is planning to get divorce. Romi's life is in a mess. Raman memory has not returned we have to tolerate Shagun. Ishita life is miserable. Rinki is at least studying now I hope everything turns out well with Rinki's life without any trouble. Pammi says don't worry Toshi Mata Rani is looking after everything believe in her everything will turn out fine.
Shagun is playing cards with her friends. They ask what is happening in her life. She says as Raman does not remember his bhenji biwi I am their daughter-in-law and I am enjoying all his money. They ask what happens if Raman remembers everything she says before that I have to make Raman mine. I also have his weakness Adi with me. Shagun leaves saying to her friends that she has to go for shopping to get something's to seduce Raman.
Rinki is chit chatting with Aamir in their college compound. They both are so immersed in themselves they don't see other people waving hands in their direction. Rinki says it is getting late she has to go home. Aamir says he will drop her home. Rinki says not today and leaves.
Bala comes looking for Sharvu to take home. He asks where everyone is she replies only Romi is here in his room. Bala seeing his opportunity asks Ishita to sit with him to chat for some time. Initially they talk about mundane things the talk finally turns towards Raman Ishita is trying to avoid that subject but Bala perseverance makes her open up to him. Vandita comes looking for Bala and sees Ishu crying on Bala shoulder and he is pacifying her.
Vandita comes and sits near them she asks why are you crying Ishu. Ishtia says jiju know how to make things better for me with saying anything. He was my moral support during Subbu fiasco, during my initial stages of marriage and now with Raman memory loss that is why I love your husband so much. Vandita says stop flirting with my husband and changing the subject tell me why you were crying.
Finally Ishita says it is hard for me to see Shagun acting as his wife in front me. I am able to bear everything else even him not remembering me. Shagun being a daughter-in-law of this house but the thing I cannot stand is she touching my Raman. I just want to pull her hand then and there from him and throw her out of my house. I know initially I bought her here in this house because I could not leave her in the middle of the road with little kid but that was only till Mihir coming back from Mumbai meanwhile Raman lost his memory and he thinks she is his wife. I am losing my patience with her but only thing I am happy in this whole fiasco is that Raman cannot stand Shagun. He is trying different ways to escape from her clutches all the time. Vandita consoles her and says have faith in Murgan everything will turn out for good. They both leave with Sharvu after consoling Ishita.
Everyone reaches home one by one. Ishita is lot better and composed after talking with Bala and Vandita. She asks everyone to freshen up and come for dinner. Everyone is sitting at the dining table. Ruhi is running asking her Ishimaa to catch her for dinner. Ishita runs behind her. Raman and Mihir are entering the house. Ishita does not see Raman while trying to catch Ruhi she crashes into Raman. Raman holds her waist to prevent her from falling down. Electric kind of shock passes through both their bodies. Ishita steadies herself holding Raman.
She says sorry and moves Raman is getting annoyed with this new sensation and starts scolding her and says did you donate your eyes. Ishita remembers him saying the exact same thing when she fell on him outside their house during Mihir's engagement salsa practice. She starts fighting with him that she said sorry it was an accident. They cutely argue Ishita calls him "Ravan Kumar". When he hears that name something is aching in heart and without thinking he calls her "Jhanksi ki Rani" the fault was yours and you are shouting at me.
Everyone is schoked to hear him call her by that name. Simmi asks why you called her by that name bhai. He says she fights like Jahanski ki Rani that is why I called her that. Ishita has 1000 watts smile on her face hearing him call her by his special name. Mihir hands over the ice-cream packets to Ishita. Ishita puts them in the fridge and asks them to freshen up and come for dinner.
Raman goes to his room angry but once he closes the door he cannot stop smiling remembering his Jhanski ki Rani smiling face. The smile on her face makes him happy for unknown reason to him.
Chapter: 10
Raman comes down for dinner. Mihir introduces Mihika as his fiance and amma as her periamma and appa has her periappa. Raman gets blessing from them. When he sees amma and appa he feels the same respect he feels for his mumjii and papa. Raman is amused by Mihika talkativeness and tells Mihir he is destined to lifelong lectures from his better half everybody laughs hearing this.
Once the dinner is finished Ishita serves their favorite ice-cream to everyone. The only flavor left is black current Ishita thought Mihir bought her favorite flavor and thanks him. Mihir says he did not pick up the flavor his bhai did. Ishita is surprised and happy at the same time and thanks Raman with a big smile.
Raman is very happy seeing her smile for the second time in the day. Ishita gets up to take the kids to bed but Raman stops her and tells her he will put them to bed today. Once Raman leaves the place Mihir tells everyone you won't believe what happened today bhai asked me to stop on the middle of the road got down from the car and was in a trance. Ishita immediately understood Mihir was talking about their rain dance (Kuch Kuch hota hai moment) and blushes beet red. Simmi notices it and started teasing Ishita do tell us what happened on that road that you are blushing this much. Ishita says kuch bhi bolrahio (What are your talking) Simmi. Ishita then diverts the topic and asks where else they went.
Mihir says they went to Murgan temple and he narrates that bhai could remember part of it what happened there. Ishita smile new no bounds when she heard that. Shagun who was quiet till now did not like Ishita's smile or Raman starting to remember Ishita likes. Shagun thinks smile for now today I am going to wipe that smile from your face in a few hours. Shagun leaves the table.
Raman comes back putting the kids to bed. All the family are sitting and talking about the upcoming Mihir and Mihika wedding. Shagun calls Raman from his bedroom door to come to his room for sleeping. Everybody could see she is wearing a transparent nightie. Raman is feeling uncomfortable and is thinking how to avoid going to her. Ishita loses her smile.
Mihir goes to Shagun and asks in a low voice what are you doing? Shagun replies in a loud voice that I am calling my husband to come for sleep. Mihir says quietly you very well know he is not your husband. She says quietly I don't care this is my house I made a mistake when I left Raman for Ashok but I want what is mine so I am trying to get it back. Mihir says you have reached the end of my limit just for bhabi who told me I should not keep grievance against my sister I forgave you and let you back in my life since you are trying to spoil my bhai and bhabi life once again I am done with you. I am breaking all my relationship ties with you. Shagun says don't be dramatic if you want go tell your precious Raman bhai that I am not his wife as you cannot do that so you are threatening me. Mihir is disgusted with her and leaves.
Raman wants to bring the smile back to Ishita face he does not know why he and she does not like him sleeping with Shagun but he does not want to hurt her so he says to Shagun you sleep with Adi today as I just remembered about my company I have lot of things to discuss with Mihir. Mihir agrees to stay and help him. Shagun is irritated once again her plan has failed and goes in a huff. Raman sees Ishita she gives him a small smile which makes his heart leap.
Chapter: 11
Ishita makes breakfast for everyone. She makes special Idli and Sambhar with gun powder (Millaki podi) for Mihir, Rinki and Ruhi. She also makes palak panner for Raman. Everyone is at the dining table. Raman tasting the palak panner remembers about a challenge he threw at same lady whose face he could not see asking her to make tasty paneer as like this. He tells everyone about the incident. Simmi asks do you remember that lady he says he doesn't remember who he told it to or did she win the challenge.
Ishita hearing this is happy and sad at the same time. She thinks every part of your body remembers me except your mind. I am hoping and praying to Murgan when you will come back to me. Everyone leaves to their jobs after breakfast.
Romi goes in search of Sarika he finds her working in the city hospital. She is almost 7 months pregnant. Romi comes near her and says he wants to talk to her. Sarika says this is my work place so please don't create any drama here. Romi says I just want to talk to you for few minutes I want create any drama. Sarika didn't want to create a scene she said she will talk to him during her lunch break.
Romi and Sarika are in a restaurant. Romi does not know where to start as it a big decision of his life. Sarika says Romi tell me what you want as I don't have the luxury of time I have to go back to work. Romi praying to Mata Rani starts saying to Sarika with hesitancy I am sorry for what I have done. I was very irresponsible. I was also scared to take on the responsibility that is why I ran from you and refused to acknowledge our child. I want to make amends if you give me a chance I will take care of you and our baby.
Sarika listing to this says to Romi now after seven months you are ready to accept your responsibility what guarantee I have you want stray after marriage. How will you take care of us you don't even have a job? You are still dependent on your father for pocket money.
Romi is not shocked hearing this from here. He expected more of her ranting's as he has given more pain to her. Romi is still trying to convince her. He says I know I am irresponsible I will change for you and baby. I don't want anybody to call you shameless or our child a bas***d. I want you to come in my life as a ray of hope as bhabi came for my bhai.
Sarika says you don't have to worry about the baby. The baby want be called a bas***d as Ishita and Raman has given their consent to attach Raman and Ishita name as the parents of the child in baby's birth certificate. They also have taken care of the kid future with investment. They also have given me a legal document stating that they will never take the kid from me showing their name on their birth certificate of the kid. My kid will have his family name attached to him I am happy with it. I don't need anything else from you so saying she leaves the restaurant.
Romi is schoked hearing this news how is bhai and bhabi have taken care of his kid without telling anyone about it. Romi makes a promise to himself he will sort out his life, win back Sarika love before the baby is born.
Romi love and respect for his bhai and bhabi grew more today. He comes back home he sees Ishita standing near the sofa trying to place a flower vase according to her taste he comes to her without saying anything hugs her tightly and starts crying this is how Raman sees them when he comes out of the room. They have not seen him. He is so moved by the picture in front of his eyes it looks like a mother soothing a crying child. He wants to absorb more of this feeling which gives him intense relief unconsciously he moves out of their view.
Ishita comforts the crying Romi and asks what happened baba why are you crying. Finally after lot of hiccups Romi says bhabi I went to meet Sarika today to mend my ways and take responsibility but she told me you guys have taken care of her and our baby. I am overwhelmed by this I don't how to thank you guys for this. Ishita says we did not do anything she is part of this family as elders to this family it is our duty to love and take care of everyone in this house. I am happy at least you started thinking about your responsibility. Romi says Sarika has not accepted him but he is not going to give up as he is planning to woo her. He also asks for her help in pattfoying Toshjii for agreeing to his marriage. Ishita says she will help him with that.
Raman gets confused as he hears Romi calling Ishita bhabi he comes from his room. Romi seeing Raman goes to him and hugs him tightly and says thank you for being my elder brother as he cannot tell his full reason as Raman does not remember them. Raman is touched by this. They both sit together and talk about life in general. Romi finally comes to his point and says bhai I want my life to lead in good direction please give me advice as to how to proceed. I want you to be proud of me as you are of Mihir.
Raman says I am already proud of you beta. You are still young now enjoy your life for few more years and we will see then what you want with your life. Raman also says there is no difference for me with Mihir, Simmi, Rinki, Ruhi, Adi and you. You all are my kids. Romi is adamant he wants to take charge of his life now before his baby is born but he cannot tell the reason to Raman. Raman seeing Romi in this state thinks to encourage him. He says come to office tomorrow you can start working there. Your job will be a menial job you have to earn your promotion in the company through your hard work. I won't show any leniency there as you are my brother you will be my employee only in work if it is okay with you come tomorrow to work. Romi thanks him once again and leaves thinking this is the first step in my redemption to you Sarika with time I will earn your love and respect back.
Neelu brings chai for Raman after Romi leaves him. Raman drinking the chai is thinking about Ishita as to what is her role in the house. She is there only to take care of kids in this home why Mihir and Romi called her bhabi. Why everybody needs her help for every small thing? Why is she cooking and serving food? Why he is so affected by her smile? Why he feels so peaceful when she is near him? In short why is she behaving like a daughter-in-law of the house?
Ishita comes near him to take the cup. He opens his eyes she smiles at him all the confusion in him clears without getting answers to his questions. Once again he is at peace with himself seeing her smile.
Chapter: 12
Ishita wakes up from sleep. She remembers it is her birthday today. She feels sad thinking about it. She thought Raman would wish her first on her birthday but he doesn't even remember me. Ishita gets ready for the day when she opens the cupboard she sees the sari bought by Raman.
She loving caresses it and starts getting ready. When she wears the sari and stands in front of the mirror she feels Raman hands are hugging her tightly from behind her and declaring his love for her unknown to her this was the same thought Raman had when he purchased the sari for her. She then wears the heart pendant with their and kids photo which he bought on the same day, simple earring and a bangle. She looks simple, elegant and beautiful in her own way.
She comes down Toshjii and Simmi have already started making breakfast for everyone. When they see Ishita they ask what the glow that surrounds her today is. Ishita could not explain but Raman bought those things for her with love unconsciously she could feel his love that is the glow that surrounds her even though he had not given the presents in her hand or said anything about it to her before purchasing.
Amma comes there to give prasadam to Ishita and wishes her Ishita takes blessing from her. Amma blesses her to live a long and fulfilled life. Toshjii shouts oye pagal you did not even say to us today was your birthday no problem and wishes her a happy birthday and asks her to take the blessing of Mata Raini today Ishita comes near Toshjii to get her blessings Toshjii blesses her saying all your worries should be gone from your life today. Simmi wishes her.
Ruhi hearing the conversation runs to wake her papa. She says she wants to make a surprise for her Ishimaa with the help of Raman they start making a card. Adi comes there and sees both Ruhi and his papa are working with concentration on something he comes near them and asks what are they doing? Ruhi replies they are making a card for Ishimaa for her birthday. Adi asks can I join. Ruhi says sure. They three make a card. Raman draws stick figure of Ishita holding Ruhi hands and Ruhi holding Adi hands. On Ruhi insistence Raman draws himself holding Adi hands on the other side. They color the picture and write "Happy Birthday Ishimaa" on the card. Ruhi and Adi sign their name. Ruhi asks Raman to sign first he refuses then he signs it with "Ravan Kumar" because that is the name she gave him and he likes it.
Once they finished the card Raman asked the kids to give her the card. Ruhi is adamant that her papa has to wish her Ishimaa and drags Raman along with her and Adi. They come to the kitchen were everyone is Ruhi proudly produces the card and hugs her Ishimaa wishing her "Happy Birthday" Adi also hugs and wishes her. Ishita is overwhelmed by their action and cries Raman does not like her crying he wants to take her in hug and wipe those tears he gets uncomfortable thinking why he is feeling this protective towards her. Ruhi asks her to open the card and see inside what Ishita saw there makes her day and she hugs both the kids tightly and thanks them. Ruhi says papa also helped and nudges him to wish her. Raman says to her have a wonderful birthday "Jhansi ki Rani" with that he starts moving Ishita calls him back and thanks him that her day is extra special with their love and starts crying and thanking the kids once again taking them in hug.
Raman becomes uncomfortable seeing her cry again his hand starts to reach to comfort her but he controls it then he notices Ishita eyes which are filled with love for him and his kids. He also notices her sari which is simple but suits her nature suddenly a memory of him buying the sari comes to his mind. He is thinking why did he buy this sari for her and why is she wearing it on her birthday? What is my relationship with her? Thinking these questions he moves away. Once he reaches near the stairs he turns again to see her smile and talk with the kids. He feels fulfilled to see her smile and starts towards his room to get ready for his day thinking about Ishita.
Chapter: 13
Amma, Toshjii and Simmi are really happy to see Ishita glowing more now because Raman wished her. Ishita shows the card to them and says this is my priced possession as it was made by my family she takes the card from them hugs it to her chest and says she is going to keep the card safe and leaves from there.
Toshjii says to Madhavi yaar you should have at least told us it her birthday. Koi gal nahi(no problem) you take her somewhere in the afternoon we will get the house ready for her birthday in the evening amma agrees to it. Ishita comes back amma says to her I have arranged for a pooja in the temple for your birthday be ready we have to leave in the afternoon. Ishita says amma but they are not open in the afternoon. Amma quickly changes yes I know they are not open in the afternoon but I need help with Mihika's wedding shopping so we will finish that and go to temple from there. Ishita asks mumjii can you ask Raman or Romi to pick up the kids from school. Toshjii says no problem you go have fun with your amma and pray that your wish be fulfilled today.
Rinki leaves for college. Raman and Romi leave for work. Ishita takes the kids to school. Toshjii has informed Raman, Romi and Rinki to come back early in the evening as they are planning a surprise birthday party for Ishita.
Romi sends a SMS saying "Good morning have a wonderful day" to Sarika. Raman introduces Romi to everyone he is assigned a clerical job under the supervision of Mr. Subramanian in accounts department. Raman tells him that he is your protg from now on don't think him as my brother treat him as how you treat all interns if I find you giving him special preference then I am going to be mad at you. Raman then turns towards Romi and says he is your new boss from today please leave your entire playful attitude outside the company and learn quickly from him. He also says "All the best" and leaves for his cabin.
Sarika sees the message and thinks why is Romi doing this? Has he finally changed? Then she says to herself don't you fall into his trap again concentrate on your life and child. She then discards the message and prepares to leave for work.
Rinki is looking for Aamir in the college she sees him talking to another girl and gets upset. She has a soft spot for Aamir but still thinks him as a friend. Aamir is in love with Rinki and is waiting for the right opportunity to propose to her. Rinki comes to him and angrily takes him away from the girl. He is happy to see that his setup to rile Rinki worked now he know at least she cares for him more than a friend even though she is not willing to accept it.
Aamir asks what happened I was chatting very nicely with Payal. Rinki does not have any explanation so she says she pulled him from his friend as she wanted to invite him to her house for her bhabi's birthday so that you can meet my family. Aamir happily agrees to it. Rinki says I need to get a gift for my bhabi Aamir says don't worry we will get it while going home once we finish college.
Amma comes and takes Ishita around noon for shopping and temple. Toshjii says to Madhavi in a hushed voice don't bring her home until I call you. Madhvai gives a thumps up sign and takes her. Ishita along with her parents leave the house. Toshjii with the help of Mr.Bhalla, Simmi and Neelu start decorating the home.
They decorated the hall with white flowers as it her favorite flower. Vandita and Bala come there to help them also. They move the furniture Toshjii orders sweets, food from Ishu favorite restaurant. Vandita instructs Simmi how to make south Indian delicacy as she cannot stand long due to her pregnant state.
Shagun comes from her bedroom thinking what happened suddenly there is too much noise. She sees everyone busily working and thinks what function is it today. She sees Bala and Mr.Bhalla hanging a "Happy Birthday Ishimaa" banner in the room. She realizes it is Ishita birthday. She thinks I want let Raman come for this birthday party she get ready then leaves the house saying she is going to spa nobody bothers about her. She gets irked when see comes outside that no one cares for her. She thinks I will never let Ishita live happily even for a day.
Mani calls the house to wish Ishita Mr.Bhalla informs him about the surprise party and asks him to come with the kids. Mani says he will come as he is going to pick up his kids he will also pick up Adi, Ruhi and Shravu and bring them home. Mr.Bhalla thanks him and says he will inform Bala also about this so that he doesn't have to go to school.
Toshjii calls Raman and asks him to bring a cake for Ishtia in the evening. Raman argues as he has to catch up lot on his work he won't be able to come. Toshjii says this is your mumjii order please bring the cake and be on time so saying she keeps the phone. Raman is frustrated with his mummyjii but he feels happy thinking he will be seeing her surprise face in the evening.
Shagun comes to Raman cabin he gets irked seeing her and asks what she wants. She says I need to go shopping he gives her his credit card and asks her to purchase whatever she wants. Shagun says you don't spend any time with me after the accident I want you to go shopping and spend time with you. Raman agrees to go with her as he is feeling guilty as well because he was avoiding her and thinking about Ishita. Shagun thinks she will shop till late night so he will miss Ishita birthday.
Romi sees Shagun and Raman going out. He thinks it is her plan to make my bhai miss my bhabi's birthday I won't let that happen after about an hour Romi calls Raman saying tomorrow's meeting has been preponed today at office please come back. Raman asks why Mihir is not calling about this. Romi says you gave him permission to go the caterer to get food for the party along with Mihika. Raman tells okay and says to Shagun buy whatever you want I have to go as I have urgent work in office. Shagun thinks if he has work then definitely he will be late and agrees to it. She buys lot of designer sari; new jewels then went to the spa to be decked as she wants to be the beautiful person in the party.
Mihir and Mihika bring the food and start setting them up for the party. Mani brings all the kids home. They see all the decoration and are happy with it but they don't see balloons so Ruhi tells them they need to get green color balloons as it is Ishimaa favorite color. Mihir gets that for them everyone starts blowing up balloons then they stick them up on to the walls and on doors.
Chapter: 14
Ishita is getting restless in the shopping as she is worried about whether the kids came back from school did they have snacks. Amma says don't worry kanna Toshjii is there to take care of the kids if you want talk to them on phone. Ishita calls home Toshjii asks everyone to be quiet and picks up the call she says kids came they had snacks now they are playing don't worry even if it takes another two hours do your puja and then come. Ruhi and Adi talk with her about school on phone then she calms down and says finish your homework before I come they both promise they will do it.
Appa asks Ishu to buy a sari she declines appa says what is this new habit I know you are married but you are still our daughter as every year we like to give you news clothes for your birthday. Ishu says sorry to her appa and says I will select a sari now. She picks a blue georgette sari as blue is Raman favorite color. They go the temple for puja.
Raman reaches work and attends the meeting which was arranged by Romi with the help of Mihir who pulled some strings in a short time for their bhabi. Once the meeting is done Romi goes to Raman cabin and says mummyji called asking us to come home Raman agrees to it they both leave work. Raman remembers he has to buy cake for Ishita he asks Romi to stop in the mall Romi picks up a gift for his bhabi.
Raman goes to the cake the shop and starts looking at all the decorative cakes but he feels they are too grand for Ishitha style finally he settles on a plain vanilla cake with one pink and one red flower with green leaves on it. It looks simple but yet classy just like her for him. He asks them to write a message in blue as he thought it would match her sari (Green, blue and pink). When he was asked what is the message to be written after thinking for a long a time whether to write "Happy Birthday Ishita" or "Happy Birthday Jahnsi ki Rani" he finally settles with "Happy Birthday Ishimaa" as he has seen the love she has for Ruhi and how Ruhi adores her.
Raman and Romi reach home with the cake. Rinki brings Aamir home then introduces him to everyone in the family. They welcome him he gels very well with everyone. He likes this crazy north and south Indian mixed family. He admires Raman a lot as because he reached to the top by his own hard work. He is happy to be part of this family for this celebration.
Shagun comes there and is shocked to see Raman home she is thinking as to how to spoil this party for Ishitha. Everybody know her intention so everyone is watching her with hawk eyes she could not do anything so she settles to be the beautifully dressed person in the room. She thinks after I get dressed with all my new purchases Raman want be able to take his eyes of me that will show this bhenjii that she does not matter to him.
Toshjii calls Madhavi and says everything is ready for her come home. Amma asks Ishu to come home Ishu says she will look into the kids and then she will come. Amma says if you go there you will be busy as it your birthday you have not come home to take the blessing of our forefathers please come for five minutes Ishu agrees to it they go to Iyers house amma asks her freshen up before going near the puja place as they have come from outside.
Ishu gets ready in Iyers place prays to her forefathers and leaves for her home. Amma and appa are walking behind her when she opens the door everybody yells surprise and wishes her "Happy Birthday". She is delighted and surprised at the same time to see her whole family together trying to cheer her up for her birthday. She thanks everyone and smiles looking at Raman.
Rinki asks bhabi I have a question for you before you cut the cake you know each and every one of us very well you have to tell us who did what for your birthday. Ishita without thinking says Simmi made the South Indian delicacy with the help of Vandu akka. Mumjii order food Mihir and Mihika bought the food and arranged it. Papajii and my Jeeju did the decoration of flowers. Mani brought all the kids home and they blew the balloon. You brought a new person to our family for celebration. Amma and Appa kept me out of the house for you guys to plan a surprise for me. Romi reminded your bhai he has to be on time to reach for my surprise party and your bhai picked up the cake for me.
Chapter: 15
Everybody is amazed how did she know who did what without being here. Toshjii out of curiosity asks her how you knew. Ishita tells it is very simple mummyjii, Simmi likes cooking but she does not know how to prepare South Indian delicacy so Vandu akka must have helped because they look home cooked. You must have ordered food as there are lot of sweets you like them. Mihika must offered to go and pick up the food and arrange it she must have pulled Mihir from office to help her because wherever she goes she pulls Mihir into it. Papajii and Jeeju are my well-wishers and advisers so they know I like white flowers and she says very quietly to mummyjii they are only tall enough to hang the flowers. Mani must have picked up the kids as papaji, jeeju, Raman and Romi were busy. The balloons are green color and it is the way of kids to have balloons at a party. Rinki bought the new guest as he is her age. Amma and Appa were there to distract me from coming home. Romi's task was the difficult one as he has to pry his bhai from office as Mihir had already left to make arrangements for food with Mihika. Raman bought the cake because it is simple and classy like him. She looks at Raman while saying this Toshjii gives her hug and blesses her.
Raman is astonished how well she knows and loves each and every family member. He always wanted his wife to love his family as much as he loved them. He also wanted his family to love his wife as much he loved her. He could see Ishita fulfilling his wish in this family alas he thinks but Shagun is my wife and she never got to gel with them properly he was disappointed with her in this aspect as well. Raman is also confused why Ishita is referring to Mihika's periamma, periappa, akka and jeeju as her family. In the excitement they forgot Raman memory has not fully recovered.
Shagun hearing this thinks this bhenjii has started her lecture once again. She thinks there is no class with these people they haven't complimented me once on my designer sari. Raman is also not looking at me he has only eyes for that bhenjii. She is thinking what other ways can I distract him.
Mani comes to wish her giving her a hug and gives a present for her birthday. Mani asks her to open it to see whether see likes it. It had a one strand of diamonds around the neck and it had two strips of diamond hanging as pendant joined together with a link stating friends in gold. It was simple, exquisite just like Ishita. She thanked Mani for the beautiful present. Everyone was happy for her Shagun was fuming she has never seen this beautiful, expensive and exquisite design.
Rinki came with Aamir they gave chocolate box as present Ishita gave hugs to both of them and she told Aamir she wanted him to come home frequently. She had inkling may be he is more than a friend for Rinki.
Amma and appa gave her the blue georgette sari she picked up today. Toshjii and Bhallajii gave a gold chain. Simmi gave her beautiful Red Punjabi dress. Vandu and Bala gave her a beautiful kanchivaram sari in green colors as it her favorite color. Mihir and Mihika gave a bunch of old DVD romantic flicks which she likes. Romi gave her cute teddy bear. Adi, Shravu, Ruhi, Nirvan and Nisha gave her a flower bouquet they made from the fallen flowers. Ishita hugs everyone and thanks them.
Raman is thinking probably I should have brought something for her maybe she would have hugged me as well.
Rinki asks bhabi you got so many different types of presents you have to tell me which one is your favorite. Ishita says every one of them as it was given by love. Everyone joins Rinki and says you have to pick only one. Shagun thinks she is going to pick up Mani present as it the expensive one here. Aamir is wondering who is she going to pick this will show who is her most favorite person in this house.
Ishita finally agrees to tell her most prized possession is. She goes to her room gets the card made by Raman,Ruhi and Adi and tells this is the most favorite present I got today. Everyone laughs as they all know she values love more than money. Raman is amazed at her simplicity.
Aamir who admires Raman for his work ethics fell in love with Ishitha seeing how she values love over money and how she also knows and cares about everyone who belongs to this family. He wanted to be part of Ishita family as well.
Ruhi asks how long you guys will be talking we all are waiting for the cake. Ishita laughs and moves towards the cake she cuts the cake feeds Ruhi,Shravu, Anayan, Adi, Nirvan and Nisha. Mihika comes near her and say you feed me to akka Ishita laughs and tells you are going to get married and still behaving like small kid and feed her. Romi, Mihir, Simmi and Rinki stand behind Mihika to be feed by their favorite bhabi. Ishita laughs at their antics and feeds them.
Raman gets delighted to hear her worry free laughter. She then takes a piece of cake to Raman. He holds her hand longer than necessary to take the cake. Ishita blushes at his touch. Raman heart feels elated at her smile and blush.
Chapter: 16
Ishita calls everyone to come for food she starts serving Rinki and Mihika make her sit and they say you relax we will take care of everyone. All the chairs are occupied by Ishita, Toshjii, Mr.Bhalla, Madhavai, Mr. Iyer, Vandu,Bala and Shagun. Mani,Simmi, Romi, Aamir, Mihir, Raman and the kids are sitting on the sofa. Mani is playing with Ananya .Rinki and Mihika are serving.
Ruhi wants to eat with her Ishimaa she tells her papa about it. He says there is no space there. Ruhi says I can sit in her lap Raman says leave her alone let her enjoy her food peacefully but Ruhi is adamant so he takes her to Ishita and tells Ruhi wants to sit with her and eat. Ishita hands are not clean so she asks him to place Ruhi her on lap. Raman picks up Ruhi and places her on Ishita lap.
Raman moves from there but something tells him to turn back when he turns to see Ruhi sitting on Ishita lap another memory super imposes itself of how he placed her on Ishita lap on godbhari how he turned back to commit that memory to him before going out of the house on that day with that everything clicks in place for him.
Raman is silently ogling his Jhansi ki Rani without any guilt he is cheating on Shagun. He also remembers the entire incident which happened after his accident and how he fell in love with her all over again without remembering her. He thinks how she must have felt when he could not remember her he vows to himself he will make it up to her. Ishita feels his eyes on her and looks towards him he smiles and moves from there.
Raman takes a pretend call and says he has to go to work now. Mihir says he will come with him Raman says no you enjoy the party it is just a small matter I will deal with it and come. Raman goes outside thinking what to buy for her which will make her happy. He thinks she is special she won't be happy with expensive jewels or designer clothes as he could tell by the way her eyes shined when she was holding the card and talking about it. Raman thinking this walked aimlessly where his feet took him there on the roadside he saw something which will make his madrasan happy. He bought that hiding it under his jacket he bounced back home. Mihir was surprised to see his bhai back so soon he asked about it. Raman lied to him stating that when he reached the parking lot his employee called and said they have taken care of the problem so saying he went to the room to hide his gift.
Everyone dispersed and went to bed after the party. Toshjii, Mr Bhalla, Madhavi and Mr.Iyer were happy seeing Ishita worry free laughter after all these days slept peacefully. Simmi put Ananya to sleep and was smiling at the praises her bhabi had given with her South Indian delicacy and slept. Mani thinking about Nirvan, Nisha and Anayan slept. Romi sent a SMS to Sarika saying "Good night and sorry" He was thinking about how to convince Sarika and slept. Rinki thinking about Aamir slept. Vandu due to her state slept Bala holding vandu on one side and shravu on other side slept. Mihika thinking about Mihir slept. Mihir thinking about Mihika slept in the guest room at Bhalla house. Shagun thinking how she could not spoil Ishita birthday tried to sleep with Raman. He was disgusted with her shameless behavior but made up an excuse of severe headache and how cold is starting for him. She did not want to catch any germs so she went to Adi rooms to sleep. She is thinking of different ways to defame Ishita slept not realizing Adi was slowly moving away from her.
Ishita was checking to see everything was in order. She was the last person to climb the stairs she checked on Ruhi first then went to Adi room to check on him finally she went to their room to check on Raman as this is the only time she gets to sit close to him when he sleeps.
Chapter: 17
When she reaches their room she sees Raman is not sleeping on the bed. She thinks he must be in the washroom before he comes I have to go from this room. She starts to leave and is startled to find him near the door closing and locking the door. He wants to tease and play with her so he is asking what are you doing in my room. She is thinking of what excuse to give him when he comes near her.
She is flustered with his nearness and could not think of a reason. He takes her in a hug and says "Happy Birthday my pagal madarasn" that is when she realizes that his memory has come back. She hugs him tightly and cries letting out all her worries. Raman pacifies her stroking her back once her cry subsides she asks when did your memory come back? He tells her when I placed Ruhi in your lap and turned again to see I remembered I filled your godhi with our daughter Ruhi on your godhbhari.
She asks why you did not tell then and there everyone would have been happy. He says I wanted you to be first one to know I also wanted you to have a very special birthday if I had told earlier no one would have gone to sleep I wanted to have some special time alone with you on your birthday.
She could not control her emotions after hearing this and cries. To make the mood lighter he asks don't you want your present she smiles instantly and her eyes show him her excitement.
He takes her to dressing table asks her to sit on the dressing chair and he sits on the table saying you are wearing the sari and pendant I gave you. He touches the pendant accidentally brushing his hand across her chest she blushes with contact seeing her blush his passion gets ignited but he controls it and opens the pendant to show that those are his prized possession and he has entrusted the care of them to her.
He then takes a small packet and gives it in her hand. When she opens the packet she sees a small container (size: 2.5*2.5 inches) hand crafted with rich red enamel paint studded with white and green kundans and touches of gold with the lid beautifully painted for a lovely look. When she opens the container it is filled with sindoor.
She likes the simple and thoughtful gift of him telling her in his own way that she belongs to him she thanks him with a smile. When she starts to apply to her forehead he stops her and takes it from her hand and says to her when I married you I did apply the sindoor as part of the ritual which was needed at that time but my heart was not in it. Today I want to apply it with my rights as your husband with full heart he asks can I do that. He is waiting for her reply she becomes very emotional and could only nod. He takes the sindoor in his hand and when he reaches her forehead to place it his hand shook a bit with nervousness as they were taking their relationship into a different level.
He then kisses her forehead and once again wishes her "Happy Birthday Ishita" she starts crying as her dream has come true. He wants to stop her crying so he teases calling her Mathangi and she pouts cutely and he asks was my gift better than the card made by the kids in the morning she says yes. He is surprised by this answer as he thought she will always choose kids first he then takes her in a bone crushing hug realizing her love for him has surpassed more than the kids.
She keeps the sindoor box loving on the table caressing it. He is thinking why she is not doing that to me instead they move to sleep Ishita takes out her pillow and comforter to go the couch Raman says if you trust me sleep on the bed. She comes to the right and he goes to the left side of the bed. They feel awkward at first as this is the first time they are alone on the bed together without Ruhi to ease out tension he starts talking about how Romi first day of work was she tells him about how Romi started to grow and is planning on taking his responsibility seriously. They talk mundane things he then says sorry to her she asks for what he says I could not remember you. She comforts him saying that only your mind did not remember me as it wanted to bury your painful past but your heart did. He gets comforted hearing those words from her. She also tells him this is the best birthday I had in my life as you remembered me and you gave me my right back to claim you as my husband. They fell asleep talking about things without realizing.
In the morning he was the first one to wake up realizing something was on his shoulder. When he opened his eyes a beautiful sight prevailed to him she was on his shoulder hugging him with a smile and sleeping peacefully. He slowly tucked in the hair strand which was obstructing his view of her face she smiled even more. He let her smile seep through his body filling him with energy then he slowly moved her to her side of the bed because he thought if she wakes up in his arm she will refuse to sleep with him on their bed because their relationship have not progressed that much in physical aspect.
She woke up before him and saw she was sleeping on him she was trying to get away from him when she realized he is stirring up she wanted to see what he will do if he sees her like this so she pretends to be asleep. She could feel his light touch to move her hair strand so she smiled more. She was upset when he was slowly moving her away from him seeing her pout he gave her a feather light kiss on her forehead thinking she is still sleeping she smiled thinking about the kiss he was happy to see her smile once again.
Chapter: 18
Ishita opens her eyes to see Raman watching her intently she shyly smiles at him says good morning and gets up from bed. Raman in a hushed voice talks to himself one day I have to teach you how to say good morning to your pati properly. Ishita asks did you say something he says no just said good morning Ishita leaves to go to Ruhi room to get ready. He asks why you are not using our bathroom she replies all her stuff are in Ruhi room. He gets ready as it a Saturday he comes dressed in casuals and goes to the living room to get his chai. Ishita brings his chai he brushes her hand deliberately with his famous wink she blushes and smiles. They are enjoying their new found sensation of affecting each other with their touches, smiles, blushes and winks.
One by one everybody comes to the breakfast table. Romi notices Ishita glowing face and Raman checking on Ishita. He starts teasing his bhabi saying what is the glow that surrounds you? Did you finally get to meet your soul mate on your birthday please tell us who is it? Raman hearing this is jealous of the figment lover and throws murderous look on Romi. Mihir and Simmi also surround her to tease her. Ishita helplessly looks at Raman he with murderous looks orders everyone back to their places to have their breakfast quietly and leave her alone. Shagun is in thinking why he is behaving like this and taking care of the bhenjii. Everyone fearing Raman anger even though they still want to tease their favorite bhabi come back to their seats for breakfast.
Once the breakfast is done the kids go to watch their cartoons. Raman tells Romi and Mihir to help Ishtia to move her stuff into their room. Shagun says how you can ask her to move into your room don't you have any respect for feelings of others she is just a nanny here. Raman with a thunderous and angry voice to Shagun says I am telling my brothers to move my wife's stuff into our room so what is the problem with you. Shagun expression is priceless to look at it is like a fish taken out of water and is struggling for its life and she just choked on her coffee when Raman said Ishita as my wife. Everyone realized at that point Raman has gotten his memory back.
Toshjii is the first one to react shouting "oye my puttar teak hogai" (My son has got well). Everyone hugs him then Ishita and Raman leave to Iyers house to share this news. They Iyers bless him both vandu and bala hug him. Shravu calls him he bends down to Shravu level he kisses Raman on the cheeks and says welcome back my friend everyone laughs at his antics.
Ishita asks them to come for lunch to her house. Everyone are happy in this turn of events the ladies get together to make lunch men help them with their chores afterwards all of them sit together chatting happily about politics ,fashion and cricket meanwhile Ishita and Raman are stealing glances at each other when no one is looking. The only unhappy person in this house is Shagun who is making new plans to stay in this house as Raman has got his memory and Mihir is back so she needs to go from their house.
Shagun says she needs to go out for a bit nobody is bothered about her. She goes to Mihir place unnoticed by anyone in Mihir apartment building she starts a fire at his place. She comes down and calls the fire department anonymously they come and put out the fire. They call Mihir regarding this and tell him he cannot go to his apartment for at least a month until they have verified the source of fire and to make sure all that the apartment is safe to live in. Mr Bhalla says to Mihir he can stay in the house which makes Shagun happy because with Mihir she also gets to stay with them.
Ruhi comes to her papa and says in a quiet voice that she would like to go out with Ishimaa, papa and Adi bhai only. Raman agrees to it saying he will make it happen. Ruhi runs from him Isitha come and asks him what the secret is? He says it is between papa and beti.
Ruhi is dressed in a pretty pink dress Raman is dressed in a formal black pants and shirt when he comes down Ishita is looking at him without blinking as he is very hot. He comes near her and snaps his fingers and asks her to get dressed as they are going out Ishita forgets about household work and goes to change her dress to spend time with her Ravan Kumar. He also asks Adi to change. When she is near the stairs she comes out of the trance and says she has lot of work do. The girls (Simmi,Mihika and Rinki ) say they will take care of it go and enjoy Ishita leaves to get ready. Adi happily goes to his room to get changed Shagun starts complaining that no one is there to care for her. She tells him look Raman only called you and not me.
Adi is in a dilemma when he comes down getting dressed he wants to go out with his papa but also feels bad for his mama. He comes near Raman and asks can we take mama also with us. Shagun is standing near the stairs smirking that Raman cannot refuse Adi and she will also tag along with them.
Raman realizes that Shagun has again started her antics with Adi. He makes Adi sit on the couch saying to him I know Adi you love your mama very much but your mama and I can't be together as we are divorced. I have married Ishita so Ishita, Ruhi, you are my immediate family. He names everyone as the extended family. He explains to him that his mama is not part of this family anymore. I like to go out with my family. You can come with us if only you like it or stay with your mama I don't have any problem with it. We will be happy if you come along so saying he leaves Adi to decide for himself.
Shagun is shocked by Raman response she moves towards Adi and says to him in a quiet voice see even for you he did not want to include me. He doesn't love you as much as he loves Ishita. Adi is more confused by her words.
Ishita after getting ready comes down Ishita is dressed in a nice black Punjabi suit to match Raman which was given by Simmi for her birthday which compliments her complexion and wears minimum accessories that is a heart pendant Raman gave, a single bangle, watch and dangling earrings she looks beautiful .Raman is ogling her when she is coming down the stairs. Mihir whistles seeing her Ishita blushes hearing her the whistle and Raman is holding Romi ears and asking is this the way to behave to bhabi. Romi saves himself from Raman and says to him that it wasn't him but it was Mihir who whistled Mihir gives a sheepish grin and says he cannot help it as his bhabi is looking like a beautiful Punjabi woman. Romi gives a thumps up to his bhabi saying you look delicious Raman again glares at Romi for talking about his bhabi like this Ishita laughs at Romi and Mihir and moves towards the sofa to see whether Adi is sitting.
Adi says you go have fun as I have homework I want be able to come Ishita says tomorrow is Sunday you can do it tomorrow Adi says no he has to finish his homework. Raman understands that Adi does not want to come without his mother so he comes near Ishita gives Adi a smile and says to her lets go we have to leave him to finish his homework. Ishita says to him how can you say like this we cannot go and have fun without our kids we will wait until Adi finishes or we will go tomorrow with him.
Adi realizes that his mother does want him to go without her and here Ishita aunty does not want to go without him. He comes to the conclusion with Shagun he is the adult and with Ishita he is the child. He wants to feel like a child once so looks at his dad and says if you help me with my homework tomorrow I will come now. Raman realizes that Adi doesn't want to reveal the true nature of his decision to Ishita so agrees to help him. Shagun is shocked by Adi behavior she thought whatever happens he will always be a tool for her to get to Raman. Shagun thinks I left him alone so he has started thinking on his own when he comes back I have to bring him under my control.
They all leave for their family outing.
Chapter: 19
Raman, Ishita, Adi and Ruhi were leaving for their outing Toshjii puts black marks on all of them to ward off evil eyes. They go to the mall first they go to the kids' movie as it was Ruhi choice Raman sits with Adi then Ruhi and Ishita sits next to her. Raman touches Ishita hand behind the kids seat initially Ishita tries to pull her hand out finally she gives up and they join their hands behind the kid's seat. Raman talks to Adi in a slow voice saying that he is happy he came along with them and proud of him as he had made a good decision before the movie starts Adi feels good hearing Raman praising him and moves one step ahead in accepting Raman.
Afterwards they go to an Italian restaurant by Adi choice as he likes Italian food. Raman and Ruhi order vegetarian dishes to please Ishita Adi also joins with them and orders vegetarian dishes. Ruhi wants to be feed by parents and she demands it off them while they compete to feed Ruhi Ishita notices Adi being quiet. Adi likes seeing how Ruhi's parents are taking care of her he also craves for the same kind of attention Ruhi is getting but is shy to ask. Ishita realizes that Adi is missing this fun so she picks up the food and tells to Raman you go feed my kid I will feed our son so saying she takes the food to Adi. Adi at first is shy then takes the food from her hand then Raman follows suit they end up feeding the kids once the kids are done they were going to eat but Ruhi stops them and says to them that kids will now feed them so the kids had fun feeding the parents admits lots of laughter. Raman brushes Ishita hands on the pretext of asking her to pass some things she blushes with his every touch he likes to see this color on her face.
Then they go for shopping by Raman choice he buys some things for everyone at home. They have a fashion parade there for Raman. Ishita, Ruhi and Adi come dressed in various clothes for him to see he picks a set for each one. When the kids are not near he goes to Ishita and says to her that these are all fine but he wants to see her in a different state hearing this Ishita turns beet red on the spot Raman laughs at her at tells her to control her emotions or she has to give explanation to our dadima Ishita shyly turns from him to go see Ruhi. Adi stands in front of designer expensive sari thinking about his mom Raman sees this and understands that he wants to buy the sari for his mom he sees Ishita she nods and smiles at Raman. Raman goes near Adi do you want to buy this sari Adi is unsure finally he says yes he wants to buy two saris Raman is surprised but buys them for him. The other sari Adi picked up was a yellow sari with black border simple looking but it was his favorite color. Ruhi chooses a full length party wear black dress for Ishita. Raman buys a beautiful platinum earrings, bracelet, chain and watch which goes with the dress Ruhi bought for Ishita. Ishita gets a nice royal blue formal shirt for Raman because she always feels that he looks handsome in blue and that is also his favorite color she picks up a pink color frock for Ruhi, shirt and pant for Adi and Shravu.
Finally they go to ice-cream shop by Ishita choice. Ishita orders black currant for her and Ruhi mango for Adi and kulfi for Raman. Adi is surprised that she knows his favorite flavor even his mother does not know it. They have fun time at the ice-cream shop. Raman starts his usual nok-jhok with her teasing her for eating weird flavor ice-cream he asks her to come back to earth to live with normal mortals and don't spoil my kid as well Ishita replies"kuchi bhi" she is my kid as well Raman smiles thinking to himself these are the two words I wanted to hear from you.
When they come outside it is raining Ishita just like a child runs in the rain with open hands to welcome the rain. Raman is surprised to see Ishita behaving like this he is holding the kids to prevent them from running behind her. He shouts at her pagal madrasan come back you will fall sick. Ishita is happy to see the rain because for her rain always washes the dirt that surrounds one soul and purifies them. Her sari sticks to her Raman libido reaches new height seeing her like this he is trying to controls his desires and shouts at her to come back to the shelter. Ishita realizing that Raman is getting angrier by the minute comes towards him. He shouts at her what happened to her brain? Has she lost her marbles to go running like this in rain? Raman is frustrated at himself for not being able to control his desires seeing her like this and worried she might fall sick if she is still in the wet clothes.
They reach home Raman sends her to change first. He takes the kids inside then comes out to take all the gifts. Everyone is excited to hear how the family trip went. The kids talk about what they did and how much fun they had.
Raman comes inside with the gifts Ruhi and Adi give the gift to everyone. Adi gives the designer sari to his mom she is happy that he bought such an expensive gift for her. Raman was trying to give the other sari to Adi but Adi went near Raman and said in a quiet voice he will take it later. Raman was surprised by his strange behavior. Then Ruhi shows the dress she brought for her Ishimaa and tells everyone how good she looked while modeling for them in the shop seeing the dress Shagun asks Adi did you get a dress for me too. Adi replies no Shagun gets disappointed and jealous that she only got a sari but Ishita got way more than her. Shagun tells Adi that next time when you purchase something for me get me a dress instead of a sari. Adi happiness get dimmed hearing these words from his mom.
Raman and Adi take the remaining things to Raman rooms Ishita comes out of the bathroom after changing. Adi takes the yellow color sari which he bought and gives it to Ishita. Raman and Ishita are both surprised by his gesture he says to her that he wanted to say sorry and tells to her if she accepts the gift then he will think that she has forgiven him. He also says to her that I know this is not as expensive as the one I choose for mama but this is my favorite color.
Ishita takes him a hug and says to him with crying eyes that he does not have to do this as there is nothing to forgive as it was not his mistake but he was not guided properly. She tells him no matter what you will be always my son even though you think me as your aunty. She tells to him that it is not the price which counts but the thought which went in getting it. She says to him since there is nothing to forgive I am not going to give back my present as I really like it and I am going to wear it tomorrow. Adi smiles hearing this and thinks once again about the contrast between both his mother and Ishita aunty and how nice she is. She is even going to wear it for me.
Raman seeing both of them talking is sad to realize that his son has grown up way beyond his years due to manipulations of adults that surrounded him. He is silently praying to god to give back his sons childhood to him. He then realizes Adi is still hesitating to tell something he goes near him puts a hand on his shoulder and turns him and asks what is you want to tell after lot of hesitation he calls Raman to the side and tells him in a low voice that he need a favor from him that he has to tell to Ishita aunty that she should not tell anyone that she got the sari from him Raman asks why Adi says mama will feel bad so I don't want her to know Raman then tells him to tell Ishita that and she will understand you. Adi says he doesn't want to do that as well because it will hurt Ishita aunty feelings. Raman agrees to the condition and is also glad as he feels his son is emerging from Shaugun's Adi. Adi after hearing from Raman is very happy gives him a hug rushes to Ishita to give her a hug and runs from the room showing glimpses of his childhood coming back.
Ishita asks Raman what was this all about he tells her what Adi told him Ishita tells him that is typical kid's behavior. Raman says to her Adi is changing because of you and she tells him no he is changing because of you before he never got time to spend with you but slowly he is seeing your side of the coin and started thinking for himself so the change you see him are because of you and this family. Raman is overwhelmed by her declarations he takes her in a hug and kisses her forehead without thinking Ishita is feeling shy because this is the first time he has kissed her she moves a little bit closer when the call comes from downstairs asking them to come down as the Iyers were leaving they break apart and move downstairs.
Ishita sees everyone out and cleans the kitchen and gets upstairs to sleep. Raman is already on his side of bed thinking will she come to bed with him as he had kissed her without thinking about the consequences he was thinking whether she will have enough trust on him to sleep on the same bed with him when he sees Ishtia coming towards the room he pretends to be asleep as he doesn't want to put himself in awkward position of answering to her queries about the kiss. Ishita enters into the room very quietly as she is still thinking about the kiss and the effect it had on her she moves towards Raman side of the bed to see him sleeping she lifts her hand to touch his forehead but stops in the last minute as she does not want to disturb his sleep and goes to her side of bed to sleep. Raman was eagerly waiting for her to touch him but was disappointed she did not follow through but was glad at least she was sleeping on the same bed with him.
In the middle of the night Ishita woke up screaming.
Chapter: 20
Raman got up from sleep sensing something was not right when he turned towards Ishita he saw she was tossing and turning he moved closer to her to calm her down but when he touched her she started screaming her screaming woke up everyone in the house her scream was so loud that even the Iyers came to their room.
When everyone came they saw Raman was trying to wake up Ishita from her nightmare. Ruhi was asking what happened to her Ishimaa and Adi was standing worried near her for his Ishita aunty. Toshjii said to Ruhi it's nothing your Ishimaa is having a bad dream and your papa is trying to wake her up from sleep then she asks Rinki to take the kids to bed. Shagun is disturbed by all the screaming she puts a pillow in her head and says they want even let me sleep in peace.
Raman realizes that Ishita is running a temperature and is mentally scolding her for playing in the rain and asks Mihir to call the doctor home. Raman is still trying to wake her up when she slaps Raman everybody is shocked by her actions it doesn't even bother him as he is worried what she is thinking about in her fever she is behaving like this. Raman tries to shake her up when she again starts beating him then Romi and Mihir try to hold her from hitting Raman she becomes more violent like a wounded animal trying to save its life. Raman could not see her in this state he asks them to leave her when they are unsure he says it is okay if she beats me I cannot stand to see her like this please leave her.
Raman loosens his touch and gently tries to wake her up. She calms down a little bit once the hold on her is loosened but without her knowing everyone hears her side of the conversion as she is babbling about it in her delirious state while sleeping Ishita is telling mummyjii and Simmi please believe me I can tell that Parmeet came to my room with wrong intentions he grabbed me from behind and was trying to touch me. She then tells mummyjii believe me I did not tell anything which happened here to Raman. Toshjii realizes that she is talking about the time she scolded Ishita that she was trying to bring a rift in brother sister relationship with her unaccounted accusation. Toshijii really feels bad for her now because she did not believe her then. Raman and Mihir realize at the same time that this is what has been bothering her when he called from Mumbai to talk to her and when Mihir came to see her after his conversation with Raman. Simmi can now see clearly how her husband started misbehaving with her.
Ishita is still in the same state. Ishita tells to Param stop right there you cannot scare me in my own house. I am the bahu of this house I am not like Sarika to bear the injustice without telling anyone. I will ruin you. Ishita is thinking how he says you are different than her she is characterless and how Raman is not taking care of her and how much he wanted to give her the pleasure given by a man to her. Ishita tells to him that you are creep I am warning you to stay away from me. Ishita is thinking how he said he is her servant whatever she wants he will do it for her and how he made her sit in a chair and was explaining the situation that since she could not become a mother so there want be any side effects to their affair. Ishita hearing this slaps at him but the person she connected with is Raman who was sitting near her unconsciously his hold on her tightened once again she remembers how Parmeet hold on her tightened after she slapped to him. Ishita started thinking what he said after she slapped him that he will ruin her life he comes closer to her she breaks the contact and runs from him but he says he will not leave her easily and she fights back with Parmeet to save herself from getting molested but the person she was hitting now was Raman as his hold on her tightened to wake her up from the nightmare when he saw amma trying to hold Ishu she became more violent Raman asked amma to leave her once their hold on her loosened she started crying Raman trust me I never sent any of those SMS. I don't know how it came from there do you remember that you could not reach me as my phone was out of charge I did not have my phone with me please trust me and started crying uncontrollably.
Raman thinking back on the incident could not bear to see his JKR was fighting tooth and nail with that villain but crying uncontrollably because she felt that he did not trust her. He thinks to himself I never doubted you for a minute but I was in a helpless state to openly declare myself to you at that time. Simmi is taken back to that day and how she slapped Ishita for her useless husband she was crying uncontrollably Toshjii took Simmi out of the room to console her.
In the meanwhile the doctor came she tested Ishita and told them her temperature is high so she will be delirious for some more time make sure she is well taken care off and if her temperature rises you have to admit her in the hospital for now I have given medication to get her fever down so saying she left the bhalla house.
Everyone for the first time realized firsthand what Ishita went through the Param fiasco how each ones word and action affected her but she never complained about it to anyone.Everyone was thinking in their own way they have to make it up to her. Raman sends everyone out of their room saying that he will take care of her amma wants to stay with Ishita but Raman says to her you need to take care of Vandu as she needs you more I am there to take care of Ishita reluctantly amma agrees to it.
Once everyone leaves their room Raman closes the door comes near her to see that she is sleeping peacefully due to the medication sits near her takes her head and places it in his lap gently and cries thinking about all the pain she has to go through in this house of which she never uttered a word to him.

The lines in blue are what Ishita is thinking nobody knew about it. Hopefully you guys will like how I am taking this story for me there are many unsolved issues in the drama I want to clear them out in my story.
They never showed what a woman goes through after being a victim of molestation I wanted everyone in the bhalla family to know what she felt during those few minutes hopefully I have done justice to it.
Chapter: 21
Raman has Ishita on his lap looking at her angelic face thinking how many wounds she has buried in herself without letting anyone know. He reflects back on their life and how she has made him come out of all his insecurities but she has been hiding things from him while thinking back he remembers the incident how he behaved like an animal in fear of losing hear he is thinking we never even talked about it.
He is wondering is that why she runs from intimacy with me every time because she is afraid of me? He is thinking about the entire incident they had with the x-ray glasses, showers and the way she was hesitant to hold his hand in theater. He is also confused now whether she is shy because of the inexperience or is afraid of him he thinks to himself when she is well we have to sit and talk about this.
Raman feels that he will respect her wishes if she does not like to be touched by him he will control his feelings for her but he will never try to force her again. He thinks before he clears the matter with her he should not touch her and gently moves her from his lap Ishita unconsciously holds him tighter and starts speaking in her delirious state Raman please don't leave me and go. Everyone leaves me I was not good enough for Subbu because I was an incomplete woman. The people who came to see me after Subbu also said the same thing but you were the one who healed me making me a mother please trust me Raman don't leave me. Raman realizes she is still in the aftermath of the nightmare she went through he is in pain as he could not help her then or now to get her back from her nightmare. He again sits beside her and promises to her no matter what happens he will be always there for her even if she does not want it. He is thinking her Ravan Kumar is here to stay with her for eternity and this time he won't fail to protect her dignity and respect.
Toshjii cries to Mr.Bhalla saying that I scolded her so much during Parma accusation and even threw her out of the house thinking it is her fault I did not even for a second stop to think whether is she capable of doing this all I wanted was for my daughter's house not to break and my house respect did not go to the street. I did not apologize to her even after we came to know the truth I was still angry with her for breaking my daughters house I thought she could have prevented all the unwanted attention if she did not speak to Param in a friendly way but today for the first time I realized as a woman what she had to go through. How much she was affected by Param it was a relative new house and new people to her still as an elder person of this house she trusted me and came and told me everything when it went out of her hand but instead of believing her I scolded her for making a rift between Raman and Simmi and cries. I think she should hate me to the core but she still respects me the same way as she did before Param accusation. Bhallji consoles her and says our bahu heart is big she never keeps any hatred inside her that is why she has become an integral part of our lives. Toshjii tells to him it is never too late once she gets better I will apologize to her.
Simmi is crying on Romi shoulder she says to him that day for no fault of hers I slapped her for my useless husband and when I came to know about my husband I tried to apologize to her but she prevented me from that saying at least now I can start to rebuild my life. I realized today what she must have gone through when some other person is touching you when they have no rights on you. She must have felt dirtied, scared to stay in this house. She must have been in a very vulnerable state when bhai bought her back from jail when on top of my husband trying to molest her filed a case against her and sent her to jail and when she came home I tarnished her character and sent her out of her house to save my husband pride. She came back after all the insult to this house just for Raman bhai and Ruhi mainly but due to her forgiving nature she forgave everyone in this house specially me even though I made her to go against her principle and dharm made her cook non-veg I feel really ashamed about my actions today. Romi consoles his crying sister saying no matter what happens bhabi will not like it if she comes to know that she is the reason for you crying.
Amma cries to appa how many times my Ishu has to suffer in live. She is cursing god that let my Ishu lead a peaceful live just in the evening we were all happy that Ishu life is changing again in the night she has to go through her nightmare. Appa console amma saying that Ishu is not alone anymore she has her whole family who will take care of her. He says to her we always have to see the positive side of the coin.
Vandita asks who was screaming in Bhalla house. Bala tells her the whole thing. Vandita gets depressed saying to Bala I am such a bad sister I could not connect that she was talking about her when she asked me for advice in her clinic. Bala consoles Vandu saying every action has a reaction see the brighter side in this we came to know that Raman trusted Ishita without a shred of doubt about her even though they had a lot of misunderstanding during that stage of their marriage. We are now seeing the relationship grow from there it has not fully developed yet but it on the way there. Vandu feels happy after hearing Bala talk about her sister relationship.
It is time for Ishita medicine Raman gently moves her from him and goes to get the medication he wakes her up and helps her to sit on the bed and gives her medication. Ishita is not strong enough to even take the tablet in her hand. He gently probes her lips and slides the tablet inside and holds the water to her lips to drink. He then pours soup from the hot flask and starts feeding her. Ishita initially refuses but our Ravan Kumar being adamant made her eat half a bowl of soup. Ishita feels sleepy due to the effect of medication Raman adjust her pillow and makes her sleep once she is asleep he starts to move but Ishita hands hold him tight so he again sits in the bed beside her. Ishita is smiling thinking about the kiss she got from her Ravan Kumar. In her delirious state she says out loud how her heart raced with Raman kiss and how she did not want the moment to end hearing that from his JRK his heart became peaceful he did not even realize that he needed her to calm his waging heart today about their relationship. Raman with a smile on his face and holding her tight slept peacefully near her.
Chapter: 22
The first thing Ishita saw when she woke up was Raman holding her tightly and their hands entwined with a slight movement from her Raman woke up took her temperature told her fever has gone down Ishita tried to get up from bed. He immediately came to her and said what the hell are you doing? You are not fully recovered you cannot get down from bed. Ishita says to him she needs to get up but he is adamant that she should not finally with lot of embarrassment Ishita says she needs to use the washroom. Raman is embarrassed as well now as he did not think she will have other needs so once again when she tries to get up he stops her picks her up and takes her to the washroom and place her near the sink and tells her to call him once she is done as he will wait outside for her. Ishita finish her morning routine amd calls him.He picks her up and places her gently on the bed.
Ishita says to him that she is hungry can you ask Neelu to bring something for me to eat. Raman goes down but it is early morning so nobody is up he then searches on his best friend Google as to what to give to a person suffering from fever he finds out that the body needs sugar and salt so that it is not dehydrated so he makes warm water mixes a spoonful of sugar and a pinch of salt to take to her then he cuts apples and arranges them in a plate to make funny face and adds grapes to it which brings color to the plate and takes them to her.
Ishita smiles seeing the funny face made out of apple she thanks him and starts eating Raman is glad to see her smiling face though it has weariness written all over it. Once Ishita finishes the fruit plate he makes sure that she drank the energy mixture he made then gives her tablet and makes her lie down.
Ishita complains to him that she is well and she needs to go get Ruhi and Adi ready for school he says you are not getting out of bed until the doctor gives all clear for now I will get them ready so don't worry about it you just concentrate on getting your health back. Then he adds this is what happens when you go and get wet in the rain like a pagal. Ishita was feeling very nice with the way he was taking care of her but with this one line she gets irritated and says no matter what always Ravan Kumar ends coming up and pouts cutely. Raman is happy to hear from her mouth his favorite endearment of him "Ravan Kumar".
Raman gets the kids ready and comes down with them to give their breakfast. Everyone asks them how Ishita is he says to them her fever has gone down but she is sleeping now. He tells to Mihir that he won't come to work today and he asks him to handle all the meetings by himself. Raman tells to Romi drop the kids in school before you go to work everyone agrees to it.
The kids after finishing breakfast come to Ishita room they see she is sleeping. Ruhi goes near her and kisses her Ishimaa forehead and says get well soon and starts leaving calling her bhai to come. Adi says to her you go I will come in a minute once Ruhi leaves he goes near Ishita looks around to see no one is watching leans forward and kisses her on the forehead just like Ruhi and tells to her get well soon Ishita aunty. Unknown to him this scene is witnessed by Raman who came to look after Ishita. When Adi comes out Raman moves from there so that he does not embarrass Adi because he realized just before showing his feelings Adi made sure no one was around. The kids' hugs Raman and says bye to everyone and left for school with Romi chachu.
Mihir sees Mihika tensed in the parking lot when he came down to go to work. He calls out to her and asks what is bothering her. Mihika scolds at him saying how you can be cool as cucumber when my sister is going through all this crap. Mihir says to her I know it is difficult for bhabi to forget all of the things happened in her life but see on the brighter side how Raman bhai has changed so much I am very happy with this development for the first time in life Raman bhai has put someone else before work and that too it is for Ishita bhabi. Mihika agrees to him yeah you are right we should always see the brighter side but being Mihika she said but the first time I am meeting Param I am going to break his hands. Mihir laughs at her way of thinking and says to her stand in line there are many people who wants to do that to him. He then gives a hug both of them smile at each other and they leave for work.
Romi drops the kids at school and reaches Sarika work place he goes straight to her without any warning falls at her feet asking for her forgiveness. Sarika is shocked by his behavior makes him get up, tells to her co-worker she needs a break and takes Romi to the break room and asks what happened. Romi finally breaks down in front of her. He says to her all the time I roamed as a playboy all my partners also was like that so there was no trouble but with you it was different. I fell in love with you and crossed all the limits but when I found out about the consequences I got scared and did not want to take any responsibility and my mom was not accepting you so I thought to leave you would be the best situation for me. I never once thought how this will affect your life. I knew you were not like party girls you already had a bad experience with men but you still trusted me and gave me your trust which I broke completely for the first time in my life I am ashamed of what I did. I wanted to make up with you to give a name to my kid but yesterday I realized after seeing what my bhabhi had to go through in the hands of Param is just a fraction as to how much you must have suffered from him on top of that I behaved so callously I know I am not a good person but for you and our baby I will change and will protect you guys from everyone all I am asking you is to give me a chance to prove it and this time the chance I am asking is not for the baby it is just for you please. Sarika says she needs some time to think and will give him an answer later. Romi leaves the place dejected.
Raman comes inside the room once the kids are gone to school he takes her temperature it reached normal. He sits besides her seeing her sleeping without any nightmares gives him peace. A strand of hair falls on her face blocking his view he reaches to put it back but in the end pulls his hand back as he realizes that helping her when she is unable to do it is okay but without clearing the air about his behavior with her he should not touch her.
Ishita wakes up she tries to sit and Raman helps her with it. He brings the energy drink he made and asks her finish it while she is drinking Raman tells to her about Adi behavior she is happy hearing that finally Adi is starting to accept her also. Once she is done she says she is bored of lying down I would like to go out of this room he says no you need rest but for some time I will play with you so that you are not bored.
Ishita is surprised to hear his declarations he brings the carom board sets it up. They start playing Raman defeats Ishita easily as she does not have her full energy seeing her making pout face Raman loses the next game deliberately which brings a smile on her face even though she knew that Raman lost the match knowingly. She thinks how lucky I am to get a caring husband. Raman heart strings are pulled every time when he sees her smile it gives him unknown peace he craves for his life. Raman is thinking she came as a ray of hope in my life to get my daughter back but now she has become my life.
Chapter: 23
Once they finish the carom game Ishita says she is feeling very restless she needs to go out Raman is adamant that she is not going anywhere as he does not want her to strain finally they come up with a compromise he says you can walk inside the room for few minutes.
Ishita slowly gets up from the bed and starts stretching her legs she walks the length of the room but the second time around she stumbles a bit. Raman who was watching her like a hawk comes to her in a second and holds her keeping a hand on her waist and taking her in a protective embrace to prevent her from falling down.
Once she steady's herself using his support they realize at the same time that his hands are on her bare waist a tingling feeling is passing through both of them as this is the first time he is touching her in a sensitive spot. They share an eye lock Raman hands are reaching to touch her face this is how Shagun found them.
Shagun fumes seeing Raman face glowing with love for that bhenjii that is when she realizes the broken Raman she has left behind is healed the one she is seeing is Ishita Raman but she also knew that they don't have a physical relationship so far she plans to keep it that way so that she could get back to Raman to enjoy all the luxuries he could offer her now.
Shagun tries to call Ishita but Ishra are out there in their own world they do not hear her. Shagun is even more insulted now she goes near them and shakes Ishita. Ishita breaks the eye lock and is embarrassed that someone witnessed their private moment and is trying to break away from Raman. Raman holds Ishita possessively and tightly and asks what is she doing in their room? He says to her next time please knock on our door before entering except our kids no one has permission to come inside our room unannounced.
Shagun is fuming inside seeing Raman hands laying possessively on Ishita waist but outwardly she smiles and tells to him that she came to see whether Ishita needed help because she came to know she is suffering from fever and I thought you would be at work as work always comes first to you even when you were madly in love with me.
Raman sees Ishita eyes sparkle has gone down a little bit after hearing Shagun saying to her about his love for her. He says to her I know my priority at that time was work but now my priority has changed first to family so don't worry about Ishita I am here to take care of her. Hearing Raman words Ishita eyes sparkle again which makes him happy.
The Bhalla family was avoiding coming into Ishra room as they wanted to give some private moments to them seeing Shagun going towards their room Simmi comes to call her so that she doesn't disturb Ishra but sees his bhai holding her bhabi in a compromising position before she could stop her Shagun breaks them from the trance and she could hear her bhai scolding Shagun.
Simmi enters the room and says to her I have been searching for you. I need some help with the clothes I am going to order online as you are the experts please come with me. Shagun is happy thinking that with Simmi she will also order new clothes to make her look more beautiful so she leaves with her.
Raman removes his hand from her waist once they leave the room. They both are left bereft after he removes his hand without fulfilling their desires. He makes her lie down on the bed covers her with quilt and asks her to take rest. He comes to his side of the bed takes out his laptop and starts working on it. Ishita turns to Raman side seeing him work slowly drifts to sleep.
Raman looks at Ishita from time to time from his laptop he sees her sleeping then he puts the laptop down sits on the side of the bed closes his eyes and is in deep thought how is heart was racing when he was touching her waist how he wanted time to stop at that moment. He opens his eyes sensing some movement Ishita in sleep was trying to find the comfort before even he could adjust her to a comfortable position she moves towards his lap finds solace there and sleeps peacefully.
Chapter: 24
Raman was looking at Ishita sleeping peacefully in his lap. He didn't have the heart to move her from him although his heart was waging a war at him that he still has not talked to her about that particular night. Raman closed his eyes thinking how to broach the subject with her when she is well as he did not want the nightmares to come back to her.
Aamir sees Rinki sitting sadly on the college bench. He goes near her and asks what the matter is. Rinki says that her bhabi is not feeling well he says why you are worrying for small things get something which your bhabi likes and gift it to her which will make her happy. Rinki says my bhabi doesn't go for materialistic things I don't know what to get her. Aamir says then go to temple do a puja for her and take the prasadam. Rinki feels happy hearing this from him and asks him to come as well. They go to the temple Rinki does the puja in her bhabi name and prays for her speedy recovery. Aamir is praying to god to show him someway whereby he can propose his love to Rinki. Rinki asks him to come with her to the house.
Shagun is really happy after ordering new clothes for her she is thinking with these new clothes Raman won't be able to resist me as I know his taste and ordered accordingly. She sits and reflects back on her life she thinks she has money as she took half of Ashoks assets since he tried to cheat on her what she is lacking now is identity for herself to flaunt in high society. She thinks Raman is still in love with me that is why he doesn't have a physical relationship with that bhenjii. I will somehow make him mine before Mihir apartment gets repaired anyways everything in this house belongs to me because the bhenjii is doing only nanny work for Raman. She again thinks about the look Raman was giving Ishita in the morning then she dismisses it as being irrelevant to her. She thinks my looks always affected you and with that only I am going to get you back. In this process she has forgotten her previous plan of bringing Adi under her control again.
Simmi comes out of guest room leaving behind Shagun holding her head with a massive headache. Toshjii asks her what happened Simmi tells her that in order to get Shagun out of her bhai room she had to bribe her with ordering new clothes which did the trick but gave me a headache looking at the screen for hours choosing clothes which I'm not even sure will look the same when seen in daylight. Toshjii gives medicine to Simmi to take for the headache. Simmi then tells her about the way she found them Toshjii is happy hearing that they plan to create more private moments for them because if left to them they will never move forward in their marriage instead they will be trying to solve everyone problems. Toshjii tells her it won't be easy and we have to include all the family members in this even my frenimy Madhavi.
When the kids came back from school they went to the parents' room first to see how Ishimaa was doing but what they found was Ishimaa sleeping on their papa lap and papa sleeping in a sitting position holding Ishimaa protectively. Ruhi wanted to rush in to see for herself that Ishimaa was better but Adi stopped her and said Ishimaa needs rest we will check on them later and takes Ruhi from there.
Toshjii comes to call the couple for dinner and her eyes water seeing them sleeping peacefully with contented smiles on their faces. Toshjii thinks they must be world's biggest duffer couples as everyone can see that they are in love only they both cannot see it. She prays to Mata Rani to show them the way to show each other what the other person in heart has for them and also for her bhau to finally find happiness in her life. She goes near Raman and wakes him up asking him to come for dinner.
Raman wakes up and slowly moves Ishita to bed without disturbing her and goes to the washroom to freshen up when he comes outside he sees that Ishita is up he tells to her that he will bring her something to eat from downstairs Ishita says to him that she is really bored in the room she likes to go and have dinner with the family. Raman is hesitant at first because he didn't want her to exhaust herself too much but he could not resist her pleading eyes so he agrees to it.
Ishita gets ready and starts to move downstairs Raman is walking by her side holding on to her when they come to the stairs Raman picks her up in his hands. Ishita is embarrassed with his action as all the family members are watching from the dining table and hooting them. Ishita asks him to let her down she can walk Raman says to her I agreed you can come and eat with everyone but not to walk on the stairs so don't use your brains just enjoy the ride. Ishra are affected by their nearness in this close proximity.
Raman gently places her on a chair Ishita face turns crimson as she get teasing smiles from each and every member of her family. Ruhi comes near her and says Ishima why hasn't your fever gone down? Have you been taking your medicines properly? Ishita says to her that her fever has gone down and your papa made sure I took all the medicine. Ruhi asks then why is your face still red? Ishita does not have a reply to this and looks at Raman who is enjoying his wife predicament and thinking how she is going to answer Ruhi. Ishita answers to her that it is the after effects of fever it may take some time to go down. Simmi tells may be it won't go as the reason for that is bhai. Ruhi looks at papa and asks why is Simmi bua saying that you are making my Ishima sick? Raman glares at Simmi and says to her it is nothing Simmi bua is teasing your Ishima just like you do Shravu. Ruhi accepts that kisses both Ishita and Raman and goes to have her dinner.
Rinki arrives with Aamir she says to them sorry for being late as we had to go to the temple. Everyone welcomes Aamir and asks him to have dinner with them. He says to Toshjii, aunty I made sure that I will be here at dinner time as I love your parathas. Toshjii smiles at him and asks him to sit. He goes near Ishita gives a hug and says get well soon. Rinki comes near her and gives her a hug and opens the prasadam and gives to her.
Ishita notices even though they all are talking to her nicely she could feel a distance in the family as none were meeting her eyes except for the kids, Rinki and Aamir. She thinks to talk to Raman especially about Romi as she feels he is more dejected with something in his life.
Neelu serves everyone dinner when Ishita saw that her plate also had paratha and was about to ask Neelu for something light to eat Raman calls Neelu and asks her to take the plate away and to bring some soup or porridge for Ishita. When Neelu tells him there is nothing of that kind he gets angry on her and says don't you know she is sick she cannot digest heavy food now? Ishita seeing Neelu state calms him down and says to Neelu bring some fruits for me. Raman is upset that she is not getting proper food and storms out of the door.
Shagun is thinking what happened to him why is he taking so much care of Ishita he never was that attentive with me for small things.
Ishita is worried what happened to him and asks Mihir to go outside to calm him down just then Raman enters with a steaming plate of idly with light Sambhar for her. Ishita asks where you got this food from. Raman says I got it from amma as it is a light food you will able to digest this easily.
Rinki tease her bhai how come so much love towards bhabi now. Raman says to her it is not love that I have but self-preservation if she does not eat properly she is not going to get well and I have to take care of her again because she cannot do it on her own. Tears pool in Ishita eyes as she thinks how much Raman loves me even though his way of showing affection is by being Ravan Kumar which side she likes to see in her husband.
Raman then turns to look at her and says to her why are you staring at me eat your food. When Ishita was half-way done she did not want to have more he calls Ruhi to his side to feed Ishima so both Ravan and Ruhi feed the whole plate to Ishima.
Chapter: 25
While Ruman were feeding Ishita she could see in Raman eyes that he was feeling guilty that he told everyone that he did not love her. Ishita wanted to reassure him that she did not take it in a bad way as he likes to keep their private moments to themselves so when he was feeding her she applied a gentle pressure to his hands with a smile reassuring him without anyone knowing that she understands him. Raman heart melted at this gesture of reassurance from her and thinks how well she identifies my emotions even before I could process them she is one of the most beloved treasure god has given to me and I will cherish it till my last breath and smiles at her easing away from the guilt which was burdening him which shows in his eyes as well which makes her happy.
Everybody is enjoying the Ruman feeding Ishita and did not believe a word of what Raman said. They could see the love oozing from Raman eyes for Ishita and her reciprocating it. Each one of them is thinking when are they are going to accept that they are in love with each other.
Shagun was glad to see Ishita eyes filled with tears after Raman declaration that he did not love her. Shagun thinks I definitely now know that he still has not gotten over me because he will never be this rude to me in front of everyone. She gets irritated that he is still feeding her so to stop that she comments Ishita is not a child she can eat on her own before Raman could say anything to Shagun Ruhi intervenes and says to her Shagun mama I like taking care of Ishima when she is sick as she takes good care of me when she is well so don't worry about it we all know Ishima is a big girl. Shagun gets irked at this and leaves the table in a huff. Adi is in two minds whether to go with his mom or enjoy the conversation happening around the table. Romi as if on cue asks him about the new video games and Adi enjoys the conversation at table. Shagun is more irritated now as Adi has not followed her.
Once they finish the dinner Ishita gets up from the chair and slowly starts walking towards the stairs hoping that Raman would again pick her up in his hands. Mihir and Romi are walking on either side to support her. When she comes to the stairs she turns slightly at looks at Raman which is noticed by Romi. He winks at her and says in a loud voice for everyone to hear bhabi we are now at the end of the stairs and if you lift your arms and put around me I will carry you upstairs. Ishita smiles at him and swats his hand even before she could reply Raman picks her up and tells to Romi that he can take care of his wife and walks upstairs to the joy of everyone present there.
Ishita is blushing at the same time happy to see that her Ravan Kumar is jealous of his chotti bhai also. Raman gently places her on the bed covers her up with quilt and lies down beside her on his side of the bed. Ishita phone rings Raman picks it up and gives it to her she arranges a meeting with the person on phone for tomorrow and keeps the phone. Once Ishita finishes the call Raman says to her you are not going anywhere please call them and cancel the meeting you need rest. Ishita says to Raman it is just not me we have to go and it cannot be postponed as it with Sarika. Raman gets tensed hearing her name and asks is she okay, is the baby fine does she need anything. Ishita says to him relax she just wants to talk with us and I told her we will be there and I promise I will take good care of myself tomorrow so that I want to be too tired to meet her. Raman agrees to it and makes her sleep.
Ishita wakes up in the middle of the night and sees that Raman is sleeping peacefully she thinks I will never have the nerve to do this when you are up. Once again she checks to see that he is still sleeping and inches towards him places her head on his chest and lulls herself to sleep hearing his rhythmic heartbeat. Raman unconsciously holds her possessively in his sleep.
Raman wakes up in the morning to see Ishita sleeping on his chest with a smile. He thinks I will never have the nerve to do this when you are up and checks to see whether she is still asleep and then places feather light kisses on her forehead and hair and suddenly feels guilty that he is taking advantage of her and moves her slowly to her side of the bed and with a last lingering look goes to get ready.
When he comes out he sees Ishita is up. He takes her temperature which is normal now. He says to her don't go around running doing things as your temperature is normal take rest I have spies in this house and I will really get mad if you are not taking proper care of yourself. I will come in the evening to take you for our meeting. He asks her will you be okay for me to go to office or do you want me to stay with you. Ishita says to him don't worry I will be fine, there are people here to take care of me.
Once Ishita gets ready they come downstairs he is still watching her like a hawk when she climbs down. Raman after having his breakfast tells to Toshji mummyji take care of this pagal madrasan and don't allow her to do any work in the house she is still not recovered fully and turns to Simmi and tells her JRK has tendency to overdo things so please keep an eye on her when she is walking near the stairs. Simmi cannot let this moment go without teasing her bhai saying now a day's why are you paying so much attention to Ishita what is happening to you? Ishita blushes Raman avoids answering, glares at Simmi and once again says to Toshjii mummy take care of my madrasan and walks away.
Chapter: 26
Raman was walking towards the door just then realized what he had admitted to the whole room but it doesn't bother him that everyone know how special she is to him. When he reaches the door he calls Ishita she comes towards him he tells to her get ready by 4:00 clock we will go to meet Sarika and don't do any work take rest so saying he leaves Ishita is standing at the entrance with a smile and gooey look. He just turns to see her standing with a smile for him just before he drove away.
Ishita comes back home and says to mummyji I am going to amma house for some time Toshjii says wait I will also come with you as she has stick orders from her son to take care of his madrasan and she is also looking for a way to apologize to Ishita for her behavior during Param fiasco.
Once they enter amma house Toshji and her amma started their pet fight so she leaving the two alone to fight goes in search of her Vandu akka who is staying with her amma as her due date is near. Vandu and Ishita were preparing a list of things for the upcoming MiMi marriage and talking about mundane things as to what needs to be done. Vandu asked do you know who is coming to the apartment next to yours. Ishita says to her I don't have any idea as it is leased by a company and people keep changing depending on how long they are required to stay for work. I hope we get nice neighbors just like last time. Vandu asks is she okay (thinking about her nightmare)? Ishita thinks she is asking about her fever and says to her I am okay just tired she notices her akka is looking at her differently when she is about to ask Vandu why she was looking at her that way Vandu changes the topic she takes Ishu hand and keeps it in her stomach and Ishu could feel the baby kicking in its womb Ishu is ecstatic feeling the sensation of baby moving and a little bit sad as she cannot experience this inside her as well and her pupil gets widened and eyes gets misted with each baby kicking.
Both the mothers come inside the room happily finishing their fight. They see Ishu eyes are misted and rush to her asking is she is okay. She says to them she is okay these are happy tears as she felt the baby moving Toshjii then tells her it is time for your medicine and you need to take rest. They come home and Toshjii starts feeding her knowing that she won't eat properly as she will be thinking about the baby. Ishita says to her mummyjii I can eat by myself Toshjii tells her I know I am not Raman and you like to be feed by him only but bear with me and eat now otherwise you will not eat properly. Ishita is smiling and blushing at her mother-in-law words.
Shagun is seeing this from the couch and thinking she never had this type of beautiful relationship with her mother-in-law. She is thinking back on the time she spent with Toshjii to see whether she has any memories of them together but the only thing which comes to her mind is that her mother-in-law showered all her love in the first few days of her marriage then on afterwards it was a co-existent relationship neither happy nor sad but after she made Raman fight with his dad due to her lies their relationship took a turn for worse and finally when she betrayed Raman only hatred was left. Shagun for the first time is realizing the value of relationship in a small corner of her heart but then her narcissistic way creep up she is thinking why am I bothering about a relationship that doesn't exist for me I just want status as Raman wife again I should be planning about how to get that and goes away from there.
Raman tries calling Ishita but she was not picking up the phone so he then calls Toshjii to see status of Ishita whether she has eaten and is taking rest. Toshjii says to him don't worry puttar I have feed my bahu and she is sleeping peacefully now concentrate on your work. Raman is feeling little embarrassed that his mother has caught on him that his concentration is more with his madrasan rather than work.
The kids come back from school and rush to Ishita room to see how she is doing. Ishita is getting ready to go out with Raman to meet Sarika. Adi is surprised to see her dressed in the sari he gave her. He thought that she was simply saying that she was going to wear that sari just to please him he never thought she would wear it as his mother always makes so many promises but never keeps them.
Raman came home he doesn't stop to talk to anyone in the hall but rushes inside to see his JRK first and was flabbergasted to see her dressed simply but eloquently. He always wanted to give her compliments on her sari but always ended up taunting her because he did not want to reveal to her how much he was affected by her but today without any fear he could say to her because the sari was given by Adi.
Raman comes near her, circles around her and says hey madrasan your taste in your sari has much improved. You look beautiful in this Ishita blushes and tells him the credit goes to my son Adi. Raman tells to her see my son has brains like me that is why he selected such a beautiful sari. Adi is happy hearing them talk about him with love and is also enjoying the banter of parents for the first time. Ruhi could not give up on her Ishima she tells her papa because Ishima is beautiful whatever she wears looks good on her. Raman just picks up his cutie gives her kiss and says to her Ishima ke chamiche(Ishima pet) and with her on his hands gives a hug to Adi saying to him don't become like your sister as Ishima ka chamiche always be your papa son. Adi is slowly learning and enjoying of being part of the family.
