Chapter: 16

Ishita calls everyone to come for food she starts serving Rinki and Mihika make her sit and they say you relax we will take care of everyone. All the chairs are occupied by Ishita, Toshjii, Mr.Bhalla, Madhavai, Mr. Iyer, Vandu,Bala and Shagun. Mani,Simmi, Romi, Aamir, Mihir, Raman and the kids are sitting on the sofa. Mani is playing with Ananya .Rinki and Mihika are serving.

Ruhi wants to eat with her Ishimaa she tells her papa about it. He says there is no space there. Ruhi says I can sit in her lap Raman says leave her alone let her enjoy her food peacefully but Ruhi is adamant so he takes her to Ishita and tells Ruhi wants to sit with her and eat. Ishita hands are not clean so she asks him to place Ruhi her on lap. Raman picks up Ruhi and places her on Ishita lap.

Raman moves from there but something tells him to turn back when he turns to see Ruhi sitting on Ishita lap another memory super imposes itself of how he placed her on Ishita lap on godbhari how he turned back to commit that memory to him before going out of the house on that day with that everything clicks in place for him.

Raman is silently ogling his Jhansi ki Rani without any guilt he is cheating on Shagun. He also remembers the entire incident which happened after his accident and how he fell in love with her all over again without remembering her. He thinks how she must have felt when he could not remember her he vows to himself he will make it up to her. Ishita feels his eyes on her and looks towards him he smiles and moves from there.

Raman takes a pretend call and says he has to go to work now. Mihir says he will come with him Raman says no you enjoy the party it is just a small matter I will deal with it and come. Raman goes outside thinking what to buy for her which will make her happy. He thinks she is special she won't be happy with expensive jewels or designer clothes as he could tell by the way her eyes shined when she was holding the card and talking about it. Raman thinking this walked aimlessly where his feet took him there on the roadside he saw something which will make his madrasan happy. He bought that hiding it under his jacket he bounced back home. Mihir was surprised to see his bhai back so soon he asked about it. Raman lied to him stating that when he reached the parking lot his employee called and said they have taken care of the problem so saying he went to the room to hide his gift.

Everyone dispersed and went to bed after the party. Toshjii, Mr Bhalla, Madhavi and Mr.Iyer were happy seeing Ishita worry free laughter after all these days slept peacefully. Simmi put Ananya to sleep and was smiling at the praises her bhabi had given with her South Indian delicacy and slept. Mani thinking about Nirvan, Nisha and Anayan slept. Romi sent a SMS to Sarika saying "Good night and sorry" He was thinking about how to convince Sarika and slept. Rinki thinking about Aamir slept. Vandu due to her state slept Bala holding vandu on one side and shravu on other side slept. Mihika thinking about Mihir slept. Mihir thinking about Mihika slept in the guest room at Bhalla house. Shagun thinking how she could not spoil Ishita birthday tried to sleep with Raman. He was disgusted with her shameless behavior but made up an excuse of severe headache and how cold is starting for him. She did not want to catch any germs so she went to Adi rooms to sleep. She is thinking of different ways to defame Ishita slept not realizing Adi was slowly moving away from her.

Ishita was checking to see everything was in order. She was the last person to climb the stairs she checked on Ruhi first then went to Adi room to check on him finally she went to their room to check on Raman as this is the only time she gets to sit close to him when he sleeps.
