It's Friday night here and I'm wide awake. Thrilled with today's updates. This story is all I can think of. What saddens me is that the story is placed on this forum that doesn't even deserve it. This story deserves a separate forum with Appreciation threads for every character, polls, OSs based on this story.
Ok, I'm losing my mind so I should stop. Just have a lot of time at hand for a change
Rofl!!!! This tale is out of the world darling!!!
Please... Its no where connected to the show..
Just my 2 cents on comparisson of R&B & Grey.
Grey had incessant need for control and that was very overwhelming and that was exhausting for me to even read. R & B has no such issues, to me he sound like a reasonable, emotive, cogent, charming, endearing and captivating. He is a man of few words but they are coherent. That's why a woman like II fell for him, who is logical herself. And when you meet your match you do silly things but above mention attributes are the reason that Ms. II has gone nuts for him and I would say its vice-versa. Anastia was a weakling in front of II. I read that book, but please there is no comparison between the two. They are world apart, Symphony is a book for smart intelligent readers (Like us😉) as it makes you think and the conversation between the lead is intruding it has an element of humor, it is alluring and it has cliff hangers. I am always waiting for what's the next verbal, text or book banter between the two. 50 shades was all about control & sex to me and believe me in my circle of friends we talked about that book, And the only thing we talked about was how many times did Anastasia blushed 😕 and the language of that book had a lot to desired. I am a compulsive reader, I read everything which caters to romance. And I typically don't care for prose etc., but 50 shades had me at my wits end with all that blushing (600+ times), rolling my eyes was 41 times and twitching lips was 52 times or saying crap 92 times. (I can go on and on from my kindle look up function😛) I haven't felt it even once while reading Symphony. So please it's a request don't compare 50 shades with "Symphony" or the Hero's, R&B is not a broken soul by any stretch of imagination. He hates what his dad did sure but he is not exorcising any demons like Grey.
Simple question: Would you like to hang out with Grey or R&B?😳 Think about it. (Food for thought) That's my poll for the day.
.
There was a comment on pre-nup. That totally makes sense in this day and age. It's common in North America, and I think it should be the same in India too. II doesn't have to tell everyone but in her mind & the immediate families know it, and that's important to her.
Nisha will talk about the story later. (Which I totally loved and can gush to no end) I just had to say this is book has lead us to so many discussion. It has touched a chord with most of us somewhere. Whether it was Godrej, milk at night, calendar, dresses, sarees or the jewelry or meeting someone like Sree or Mrs. Moorthy.
Can't believe I am writing so much about a character, my English professor would have happy if I had made an effort while I was in school.😆

THANK YOU COLUMBIA
Thanks to the 50+ who kicked butt with your MOST engaging, funny intelligent discussion about Delhi, Tamilians, Iyers, Marriages , love AND R&B-II
Thanks to the 50+ who hit Like, on every part
Thanks to ALL those who acquired an ID JUST to thank ME
Thanks to the "shy ones" who only PM-ed me through this journey
Thanks to ALL those who only troll/read and have never gotten a India Forums ID
Lastly, Thanks to the group of "deliberately anonymous" readers who read the story BUT carefully conspired within your cliques to deny me praise. Doesn't matter.
Software Symphonies has become the MOST popular(the number of hits), MOST talked about (I am told) MOST well written (reader opinion) and MOST loved tale(deviant behavior it has spawned) proving conclusively. It's impossible to stop a good thing in this world
For in life we must step up and recognize, and in order to be recognized we must step up.
