CHAPTER I
The Bhalla house wasn't the same the same anymore. It was almost 3 months since Ishita and Ruhi had left. Ishita resigned from her clinic and handed over the responsibility to her junior. She had settled somewhere far away from the house. But it wasn't easy for her to hide her identity. She's was Raman Kumar Bhalla's wife. There were many people she met who knew her. Iyers had shifted to Chennai after Mr. Iyer's money loss. Bala and Vandu was working in Delhi and hence they decided to stay there itself. They were in touch with Ishita, but didn't know where she lived.
Ishita knew that she wasn't away from Raman permanently. She had faith on her husband. She knew that someday he would realise his mistake and come to take her back.
Despite of Ruhi and Adi being in the same school, Ruhi didn't wish to talk to him and neither did Adi try doing it. In the initial days, he tried convincing Ruhi saying that Shagun was their real mother, but Ruhi was a combo of a stubborn madrasan and punjaban. Later when Adi realised that his explanation was going into vains, he stopped putting efforts.
Bhallas started settling things with time. They missed Ishita, but shagun's constant drilling on Adi was enough for everyone to let go Ishita. Slowly Adi started changing the game, saying that Ishita purposely gave him the BP pills, she tried increasing the distance between Raman and Adi. Since Ishita wasn't there anymore, there was no one to clarify their doubts. And sooner or later, Adi's words became right for them. In subconscious mind, everyone knew that Ishita couldn't do any such things. But it's said right, when things go wrong, everything looks wrong.
Raman had lost his say after Ishita left and Toshiji took over every thing and started ruling with Adi the ghar ka chiraag. Adi enjoyed his days. Shagun didn't care for anything as long as she got funding for her spas and parties. Raman had become a robot, working day and night. After Ishita left he was just a soulless body. He lost interest in every thing. He sometimes spoke to Adi and fulfilled his requirements. He knew that his house had turned to hell which was once a paradise created by Ishita. He missed his daughter who used to run around, in the house. He missed her voice when she called him "papa". He missed Ishita and their nok jhok. He missed her calling him Ravan Kumar. He didn't realise that all this was because of his blind love for Adi. He was still unaware of Adi's motives. He knew that Shagun could manipulate Adi, but he didn't know the range. Raman tried meeting Ruhi in the school, but Ruhi always refused to talk to him. Raman had broken down completely. He became a weaker without his support, Ishita. He couldn't blame Ishita for leaving every thing, neither did he realise his mistake. He kept blaming the time, the situation.
Somehow things weren't fine.
Mihir worked day and night to forget mihika.
90 days passes by. One day, Mihir goes for some work outside. While he was on his way, he found Vandu and mihika meeting near park sort of place. He stops his car to stare at his lost love. Mihika was crying. Since she was acting to be pregnant, she had to artificially bulge out her belly with stuffings. Mihir was hurt even more. He was about to leave, but mihika's voice stopped him.
Mihika - akka! I can't do this anymore.
Mihir turns around decides to listen to the convo.
Mihika - akka! I can't take it anymore akka. Kya kuch nahi kiya Maine. Ashok is a ridiculous man. I hate him akka! I hate him.
Tears were rolling down her cheeks.
She continues, " Ishu akka ghar chhodke chali gayi, because of me. Yeh pregnancy ka natak, this is getting on my nerves. Ashok aur suraj, I just don't know what to do akka."
Mihir was shocked to hear the conversation.
Mihika sobs hard, "akka! Mihir loved me so much and I ruined him. Ab toh shayad nafrat karta Hai woh mujhse. Usko bachane ke chakkar mein main itna involve ho gayi that I'm stuck with these disgusting people like Ashok and Suraj now. I don't know what to do akka. Ishu akka also hates me. Peri amma and peri appa left and they didn't even inform me. I feel so helpless akka"
Mihika almost collapses down, when Mihir holds her from behind.
Vandu and Mihika were shocked to see him there. Mihika hides her tears and gets back to her 'I don't care' mode.
Mihika - Mihir? What are you doing here?
Mihir - Aisa Kya huya tha that in order to save me, you have to marry Ashok?
Mihika - kuch nahi Mihir. None of your business.
Mihir - of course it's of my business. Suna Maine pura conversation. Mihika abhi tum batao warna main Raman bhai ko jaake abhi ke abhi sab kuch bata dunga.
Mihika looks at Vandu. She nodes and agrees to telling Mihir every thing.
Mihika narrates the entire story from start. She cries hard and hugs Mihir.
Mihika - I didn't want to hurt you Mihir. Un logon ne jhoot bolke blackmail kiya. I have always loved you Mihir.
Mihir - mihika !!! Ek baar batake toh dekhti. I was there, Raman bhai was there, Ishita bhaabi thi.. Tumhare chupaane ke wajah se dekho Kya ho Gaya waha.
Mihika - I'm sorry Mihir, I'm so sorry. I didn't know ki yeh sab itna bigad jayega.
Mihir - mihika, isse pehele ki chize aur bigde, we've to tell this to Raman bhai and every one else.
Mihika - no Mihir. No. I'll handle it.
Mihir - you already tried handling it mihika. Pichle chaar mahino se you're trying. Kuch huya? NAHI NAH!! ulta sab bigad Gaya. Now shut up and come with me.
Mihir holds mihika's wrist and pulls her. He puts her into his car. He askes Vandu akka to get in too. And he drives to the Bhalla house.
Bhalla house.
All are sitting on sofa and drinking tea. Their smiles seem to be lost somewhere.
Raman is nowhere visible. He was in his room, lost in Ishita's thoughts.
Mihir comes in, pulling mihika along with him. Vandu also comes in behind them. Mihir shouts and calls for Raman
Mihir - bhai? Bhai? Kahan ho aap..bhai?
Toshiji - Oye ki hoya puttar? Aur yeh Mihika tere saath? Ki gal hai?
Mihir - mummy ji ek minute. Bhai? Kahan ho aap?
Raman comes down. He's shocked to see the scenario.
Raman - Kya huya. Chilla kyun raha hai? Aur yeh mihika? Vandu akka aap? Kahan the aap log? Yeh sab Kya ho raha hai?
Mihir - hum sab galat samajh rahe the ab tak. (To mihika) mihika, sab kuch batao Inko.
Mihika sobs and blabbers out every thing. Every ones shocked to hear her words.
Shagun was crying thinking what had Ashok done. Adi was speechless.
Then Vandu start telling about how Adi had told Ishita the step mom story. How he used to be sweet infront of everyone and humiliated her behind. How he mocked at Ishita during Lohri and all.
Raman unable to hear all this almost collapses down. Mihir holds him.
Mihir - bhai? Sambhaalo apney aap ko.
Mihika - Maine aap sabse yeh sab chhupaya kyunki mujhe laga ki main akele Ashok to manage kar sakti hoon. I'm sorry.
Every one starts shedding tears. Raman gets up and walks to Adi.
Raman - Adi? Tune Ishita se yeh sab kaha ya nahi?
Adi - woh mom ne kahan tha ki Ishita aunty...
Raman - (cutting him in between) kahan tha ya nahi Adi? (Raised his voice)
Adi - woh mom...
Raman - (shouts) HAAN ya NAA??
Adi - Haan... Woh..
Raman didn't take a second to slap him hard.
Raman - tujhe pata bhi hai ki tune Kya kiya tha? Woh aurat tujhse Teri iss Maa se bhi zyada pyaar karti thi. (Pointing towards Shagun) Adi Kya ho Gaya hai tujhe? Tu mera beta nahi ho sakta? Meri beti toh Ruhi hai, jo bado ki respect karti hai. (To Shagun) Kya bana diya hai tumne ise Shagun.
Shagun - Raman...woh... Main..
Raman - SHUT UP!!! JUST SHUT UP. (Pointing toward the door) get out of my house. Abhi ke abhi.
Shagun - Raman, kahan jayungi main?
Raman - I don't care! Jo karna hai karo, jahan jaake marna hai maro, I give a damn. Out of my house.
Mihir - Shagun tum mere ghar jaao. (Gives the keys)
Raman - Mihir?
Mihir - bhai! Behen hai woh Meri. I promise woh kabhi yeha nahi aayegi. (To Shagun) Shagun jaao abhi.
Shagun - before that... Mujhe ek baar Ashok se baat karni hai.
Vandu - yeh sahi keh rahi hai Raman. We need to talk to Ashok before that.
They all agree to Vandu. Mihika, Shagun, Mihir, Raman and Romi, they all set for Ashok's house.
Ashok's house
Ashok and suraj were drinking near the bar counter.
Ashok - yaar bhai! Yeh mihika nahi ab tak.
Suraj - chhod na yaar. Dum kar rakha hai usne.
Suddenly, they hear Raman shouting.
Raman - Ashok.. Ashok. Kahan hai Saale..nikal..
Ashok and suraj are shocked to see all of them.
They tell everything them. Raman, Mihir and Romi starts hitting them hard.
Shagun - I gave you 6 years of my life Ashok, aur tumne Kya kiya?
Ashok was about to misbehave, when mihika slapped him.
Raman warned him saying that if he didn't leave he city, he would inform the police that he had forcefully married mihika blackmailing her, without her family's concern.
After a long quarrel between them, Ashok finally finds it safe to leave the city.
He knew that it was hard to fight against such a big crew. Bhallas were strong. He somehow agreed to them.
Bhalla house
Everyone returns to their house.
Shagun packs her stuffs. She apologises to everyone. No one cared to even look at her. She comes to hug Adi, but was shocked when he refused to accept her as his mother.
Adi - mom I had trusted you more than anyone. Par apney Kya kiya? Aajse Ishita aunty Meri ishima hai Ruhi ki tarah.
He cries hard and runs upstairs.
Shagun breaks down emotionally. She comes to Raman. He was sitting soullessly numb and expressionless. Tears were rolling down his cheeks. He was staring at the air. Ishita's images were flashing in his mind. He remembered the scene when she was leaving the house with Ruhi. He remembered, how she tried convincing everyone, but no one paid attention to her words.
Shagun - Raman! I've done many wrong things. And I regret each one of them now. Ishita ko dhoondne mein Koyi bhi madad banta hai toh I'll help. So sake toh mujhe maaf kar dena.
Raman doesn't react.
Shagun leaves the place.
Mihir hugs mihika and they both assures Raman that they would find Ishita.
Vandu and mihika leave the house. Mihir drives Shagun yo his house.
They all leave. Raman slowly gets up and walks to his room upstairs. Everyone else is devastated. They get back to their rooms with broken hearts.
Precap - Adi and Raman's sentimental conversation. Adi suggests a plan, where he tells about meeting Ruhi in the school.
Raman meets Ruhi in the school and tells whatever happened the other night.
He apologises and begs to meet Ishita.
Ruhi is convinced and they make a plan to meet Ishita.
