The situations which she has gone through cz of her destiny has made her a beutiful person and a rational thinker, ishima's role in making ruhi for what she is cant be ignored!! Both mother daughter duo today loudly spoke their mind that they r not to be taken for granted and both can watch their backs if someone tries to mess around!! I feel Ruhi can teach Ishima a thing or two abut giving back at someone who insults you or your loved one...she's done it several times for her Ishima...and today also did the same.I loved ruhi when she point blank told adi that apko kuch pata nahi hai, aur apko agar dikhta nahi hai to main kya karu?? Ishima loves me and she loves u also!! I feel like jhappi paaoing ru for this dailogue!! She is an angle and she will always stand by her ishima no matter what!!
Coming back to ishita i finally could c a determination in her that she will not let shagun mess with her!! And she will keep an eye on shagun and will have her guards on!! I hope she is able to do that with all the might she has!! I also noded in positive when she said her patience is her strength and the day she starts speaking no one will be spared! I would love to watch such a deardevil ishita in future and i m all for it even if she hurts puttar's emotions cz thats what is needed from now on!! I loved mihir-ishita scene too!! Liked the way he confided in her and told her about his fears!!
And what was the precap all about?? What raman meant that they cant fight cz adi is at home?? They have been fighting in front of ruhi all the while and raman never objected to that now suddenly with adi around y cant they fight? He is much older and can understand that its normal between husband and wife to have an argument over something!! ๐Ÿ˜• this is annoying me now i m loosing my cool now about raman especially after seeing the olvs!! Raman needs to understand Adi is a 12 year old now..not the little boy he was 6 years back...

Ruhi's little outburst was the CVs way of placating both the mass and class audience. On the face of it,it depicted good triumphing over evil, thus pandering to the TRP aunties. They may love OTT drama, but not to the point where it offends their sense of justice.

The deeper question that has been posed to us intelligentsia:) since the inception of this show,is whether family can be decided on merit as opposed to blood relationships. Yashoda's role has been examined in minutiae,in the form of Ishita.Yet Ruhi's
choosing Ishita over Shagun has been overoversimplified, having been explained away by a little girl's need for motherly love.Think about it folks. This teeny tiny doll has had the courage to voice opinions that fly against the fundamentals of Indian society.Family is above all, family must not be questioned, family is determined by blood.

During the Ruhi DNA track, she stated "mujhe papa achche nahin lagte hain".Toshi was mortified.Parents are next to God for us,and to criticize them, however much they deserve it,is next to blasphemy.

Ruhi's constant rejection of Shagun as her mother is original,to say the very least. We have all read of adopted children seeking out their biological parents even when they were provided loving, nurturing environments by their adoptive parents. Why then does the truth of Shagun having given birth to Ruhi not hold one ounce of weight with her?Children such as Ruhi, represent a ticking time bomb for our collective and time-revered belief system. They offer us an alternative explanation to the erosion of the joint family system that we have revered in literature, cinema and life.We have lambasted the advent of the nuclear family for its materialism and selfishness.Might it be that we have realized that some family members,or indeed whole families are dysfunctional beyond repair ,and the only way we have of surviving psychologically is
to keep them at arms length.Ruhi recognises this and so does Mihir.

The rest seem to be misguided by the guilt trip of blood ties, whether in the form of ghar ka chiraag(Toshi),"my first born"(Raman)or overcompensation by Ishita(my husband's life is complete now). As annoying as these attitudes are, they do represent reality.Ishita is over-eager to please simply because she needs to justify her existence to herself, given her infertility.Raman needs external approval from Adi to justify his existence in society. The world's best CEO award does not count for much if your own progeny rejects you as his father.

Ruhi and Mihir follow their inner score cards, and will continue to do so,at the risk of being branded trouble-makers by their own.Sadly, they will remain in the minority, for how many of us have the courage to live up to the ideals we applaud, when that could result in ostracism?

wow! what an insightfull post..added nuances to my understanding about the episode...in a very thought provoking way.๐Ÿ˜Š

the most original thinking post I've read today๐Ÿ‘

And your last paragraph has me in awe.

welcome to the thread. I hope you're not one of the creatives of the show, are you?๐Ÿ˜†

Ishu-Amma scene

Well done CVs. As much as I'm against the sermon served to audience via Ishita, I'm more delighted to welcome back Ishita JKR! It was high time that audience got to know what was going on in Ishita's mind, and I'm glad that the heart-to-heart talk happened with Amma. I love Amma. She knows that Shagun is a danger to her daughter's happiness, and like a responsible parent, she discussed it with Ishita. I'm proud of both mother and daughter:)And CVs, if u r reading this, I'm laughing along with u.

Ishu, I'm waiting for ur kaali avtar. I just can't tolerate Shagun. Whenever she comes on screen, I just fast forward the scene. Though I'm supposed to feel sympathy for Adi, who's a child, I just don't. He's almost a teenager, and I think he should owe up to his actions. I'm not defending him anymore.

Ruhi-Adi scene

Maybe Ruhi will manage to do what no one else has managed to; give Adi a new perspective! I'm sorry to say this but Adi is one deluded character. In this scene, it really felt like Ruhi was older than Adi!

Ruhi: Agar aapko nazar nahin aata, to main kya karoun? This line applies to all the people in Bhalla house excluding u and to some extent, ur Ishima, dear Ruhi:)

Adi: Hamari Shagun mama sab se acchi hain. That was joke of the day from CVs! They are spoiling us. Lol.

Ishu-Mihir scene

I loved it. Not much to add there. They just created the reason for Ishra's forthcoming argument.

Other scenes

So Raman picks up Shagun from the airport. Doesn't go down well with me.

Adi's body double - way too obvious.

Humble request to CVs: Please wrap up this Shagun track. Introduce another villain or make Ashok develop some brain cells. I prefer seeing Ashok and Suraj to Shagun.

Toshiji leaving the room when Shagun comes in - interesting turn after so many weeks of Shagun being in the house! Seems like everyone is getting back into character...finally!

Ishu - Raman scene
The fight over who will change first was so cute and real. Shagun would never understand this type of love, thank God.

Overall I liked the episode and I'm not worried anymore. Ruhi and Amma are on Team Audience, Shagun is the TRP team (not going so well though CVs), Raman and Ishita are on team Wherever-TRP-Blows and Character-Manipulation To Suit Whatever Track is Currently On. This show so belongs to the CVs. They gave us a great show. I hope they realise that Shagun track is a big NO from audience, and we can all move on from here.

Loved the precap. Looking forward to the fights, separation and JKR taking down Shagun ๐Ÿ˜Š

loved your thought process right there๐Ÿ˜†

and last line...yes please can it take center-stage please

u covered it all abt ruhi n ishita and shagun...

i just want to add few things... i just loved the ishita mihir scene... i so loved this babhi-dewar/didi-bhai relationship... truly an amazing scene... wish cvs explore this relationship a lil more...

i found it hilarious that toshi ji n simmi were all ๐Ÿ˜• when shagun came.. its really funny how they have their tunnel vision on... our ghar ka chirag shudnt leave... ooh shagun is a byproduct... let ishita deal with her...coz usse laayi to ishita ne hi...

Regarding the precap...i just want to ask one thing..raman cud think tht what will adi say if he sees them fighting...n yet he didnt think twice how it feels to be shouted at in front of an outsider (here shagun)... i personally always believe fights between husband wife (not silly banters..but serius ones) shud be controlled... Even if i m so angry tht i want to bang my husband's head..i control... it is nothing demeaning than fighting n showcasing ur problems in front of a third person...n that third person being ur exwife...nononono!!!! n words like "how down can u get...you r fighting in front of aadi..."...tsk tsk.. it hurt... true true...here I was so happy with Puttar being mature enough to hold his tongue during the new year party fiasco till they were in the privacy of their bedroom...and here he blows his fuse again...and worse in front of his ex...๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ

n i dont speculate about olvs... so will comment on them when they r aired...if there is a mini seperation..i wud prefer it is by ishita's mahanta (... i prefer calling it good heart) than raman's rudeness... coz harsh words below the belt even after taken back can hurt... i dont want to be angry with my rkb...

Amma-Ishita conversation at its best!
A real message for us viewers also.. Silence and Patience will help anyone tolerate life problems! U will win and there is nothing to lose! In soap story...maybe yeah...in real life ? hell no! ๐Ÿ˜กIf my hubby's ex did such kartute she'd have been back next to the dumpster with few broken bones๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿคฃ

Ruhi-Adi scene.. Ohh Godd, Ruhi ws on phataka mode...choti baachi, badi baate! Her maturity level is something which I have always loved. Today she again proved step-mothers in stories and real life are different! Bravo CVs for bringing this up. Adi needed that.

Ishita-Mihir scene again..heartfelt one! Deep heart-to-heart conversation. Felt bad for Mihir. Loved this bhabhi-devar bond.

Raman-Romi discussing about Mihir. Their heartfelt conversations are rare. They are much more masti kindoff rathr than serious. Today seeing thm in a serious discussion looked great!

Ishita-Raman.. hayee Sabzi wala pyaarr... loved that short sweet scene! KP looking hawttt in tht specs!

Regrdng OLVs, initially I felt horrible seeing it but I realise there is something positive in that. Either Raman must have planned something to expose Shagun in front of Adi or he is repeating the same mistake and going back to square one and making Ishita to say sorry! Let's wait and watch!

Precap... achanak Raman ko gussa! Something is not right!

P.S Gan di.. Beautiful and Lovely collages!
P.S.S I strongly feel Raman must have heard Amma-Ishita conversation! Anyone agreeing with me? Anything is possible in soapdom...but I highly doubt

It was another good episode-with a feel that story is actually moving in some direction.

I liked that they continued Amma-Ishita scene and gave it a proper ending. Amma's concerns were very realistically portrayed-you can be proud of your upbringing, your selfless good natured daughter, but the truth remains that Ishita is treading a very very thin line. Amma realised this and isn't as hopeful & optimistic abt the future.

I really like Ruhi-Adi scene-for obvious reason:) Ruhi you go girl! You are Ishima's daughter but you have your dad's temperament and straightforwardness-love her for that! yes today she reminded me more of her Papa than Ishima...yesterday when she gave the tissue, that was Ishima's values...today it was her bhalla genes.

Another reason I liked the scene was that Adi after a very very long time sounded and acted like a 12 yr old-he didn't look/sound conniving, wasn't plotting and planning. He was saying what he truly believed in. For a moment there I felt bad for him. which part?๐Ÿ˜• he looked more like a younger brother to Ruhi than the other way around...and the week CVs turned him into a saas-like mind game playing character...he lost all my empathy.he annoys me now as much as shagun ๐Ÿคข

I am soo happy Raman went to pick Shagun up-I just love it when he gives it to her & Shagun is a pro at instigating him & then gets served royally-hehe

Raman's one-liners are back with a bang! Adorable kitchen scene.
How blind do you have to be to not see the cuteness of this couple. Shagun can be adorned with many adjectives-blind and very very blind just got added to the list. She is honestly a mystery to me-phew!!

Mihika's game plan(if she has one that is)-I really don't get! She is fast turning into another Shagun who doesn't know when and where to back off.

Mihir-Ishita conversation was nicely done-my heart went out to him today-Raj Singh Arora was very convincing as the heartbroken lover.

Precap: I think it's the CVs devilish plan to make Raman look like a million bucks and make him shout at Ishita, so we don't pay much attention-lol
On a serious note,I actually thought Raman wasn't screaming and was just unhappy with the entire situation. Let's see how it all plays out.

As usual great job with the collages Gan-I have to look up the dictionary to shower praises on you now-hehe
Ruhi's collage reminds me of 2 of my fav Ruhi scenes:
1. The afternoon(after Adi's accident hearing) when Ishita & Raman
come to wake her up & she realizes it's already afternoon-her 'haww afternoon ho gaya'-was the sweetest most natural responses ever.
2. Of course the scene where she brushes her hand across her dad's face and kisses it-just before Raman leaves for Singapore.

This kid is a rockstar like most say & is total sunshine! All normal but beautiful moments and so right you are about her.

first of all apologies Gan, I was typing from my phone and completely failed to check for errors. Can I like go and hide myself somewhere. I am not able to see the gif you posted ๐Ÿ˜ญ ... May be Internet issues or IF is acting weird ๐Ÿ˜• ...
It was Mihir who shared his grief with Ishitha and he wanted her to help him out. But poor lady ! She is getting caught in the same mess again. With Shagun around and these two fighting over Mihir. There are chances for Airhead to interfere saying he is my brother and only Raman has the rights to take decisions for him. You're are third person and sort. Shagun is capable of this and in fact much more.
Before param could enter in to the house Ishitha was the one who kept helping param n Simmi. Raman doubted her character. Now the situation is slightly different. That's what I meant. FACEPALM is my only reaction

It's high time Puttar realizes things and starts prioritizing them before it's too late. This quote goes so well with Raman Kumar Bhalla

I know OLVs are out and we're all stressed out over what might happen. I'd like to wait and let the scene play out. And to me a mini-separation is not a bad thing..Apparently for some reason *Hint: GKC* the grown ups in Bhalla family seems to be in dark about Shagun and Adi's antics..what is the best way for them to clarify their vision: experience the pleasure of having them live with them and find out on their own. And bonus? Puttar and biwi pining for each other while living next door and bumping into each other in the common hallway. I would rather take a mini separation than watching Shagun and Adi's melodrama any day.
@bold - I agree with u totally on this. Let it play out first. N I'm kinda now looking forward to a mini separation coz it will do only good. Not only Raman but the entire family needs to wake up. And truly said bonus will be puttar n biwi pining for each other. During param kaan in dat one day he forgets to wear his pants๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† This time round since they r in love I wonder wt his halat will be๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†.

@red so many possibilities...๐Ÿคฃ
