Thanks Kri and sorry for the late reply was caught upYep nothing makes CVs get the message like certain numbers on a chart do 😉😆the track frankly I dont think has taken a new dimension...honestly the way I see it, it was always meant to come down to this cause until and unless Ruhi vs Adi scenario wasnt created the track would have been Adi vs Ishita in which case Ishita would have had to be shown as the sacrificial lamb - since she wouldnt get a preference over the precious GKC 🤢 because of course that's the attitude of the society we live in - extremely sexist...boys, sons can get away with anything even rapes and murders but women and girls have to bear the onus of everything and anything...because thats the kind of mentality our patriarchial society has and who but the matriarchs ironically are responsible for this as we saw here too...Toshi aunty never once tried to ask or understand Ishita anything in any of the situations be it the medicine fiasco, the apology one or the time when Ishita was only trying to make Adi understand he shouldnt interfere in the matters of adults - to them the sons and the SILS of the families are more important than the daughters or the DILs...It, as per me was always gonna have Ruhi play a role wherein she would be pitted against Adi not just to question the extreme sexist attitude the Bhallas have...which they do - Romi can get away with impregnating a girl, marrying her by bluffing his undying love and be pampered much like the GKC Adi but heaven forbid the Bahu of the family should proclaim that the SIL almost molested her within the confines of their own home or she teach some much needed manners to their wayward son... because only Ruhi could be the one who could challenge them on this...after all who is a bahu she is an outsider but the daughter of the house...she' your own flesh and blood...In case of Adi vs Ishu...Ishu was on uneven footing not just because the GKC was infintely more priceless to the Bhalla clan who is yet to know the status of Romi' busted balls...but because she was also the elder one...and we hear it always...you are the older one - you should understand, he is a child...you should be the forgiving one, reasonable one and all that shit...with Ruhi vs Adi that reasoning holds no water - she is the younger one AND a Bhalla by birth...two children of the same father so of course what could be more conflicting than seeing your own children at a war of sorts and being asked to chose one of the two...If Adi is the precious GKC, Ruhi is the lifeline of the Bhalla family and especially Raman even when he ignored her he loved her...he admitted as much that she is the reason he lived despite being betrayed by Shagun and hated by his son, didnt go batshit crazy because he had Ruhi and for him...she was everything that mattered...so yeah Adi may have them dancing to his tunes for now but when it comes down to it that family cant do without Ruhi just as muchAnd when you create that scenario only can you achieve the dual goals - one of having Ishita on an equal ground cause if Shagun relies on Adi, Ruhi is ultimately the biggest Ishita supporter in the family and she has proven it even before this mess whenever need be and next Adi who has to realize things especially accept the truth, the reality he has always known, already does to acknowledge it...that his mother and father have been seperated for years, that his mother had another man in her life for all that time, that it was she who had taken him away from his father and that he wasnt the only one who bore the brunt of her actions as his sister too suffered - she lived as a motherless child for a major part of her short life and even though she had their dad, he too wasnt emotionally available to her for the longest time until Ishita happened to step in their lives...until now Adi has known his side of things, his story...only when he realizes that his father was never at fault, that in the span of six years his dad and sister too lived through their hells ...As for patch up I am satisfied with it, sometimes a heartfelt apology and an honest conversation is all you need to clear the air both of which happened - Raman said sorry for almost doing what he did and they TALKED - he spoke what made him think she wants him to do the pooja with Adi and Shagun and she let him know she may have done a mistake once but she now knows better and somethings she cannot share - specifically her rights as his wife you dont need a grand gesture for everything for eg the grammar talk in the Saturday episode...it wasnt as much about how poor was/is Shagun' vocabulary or her english as much as it was about to highlight the differences between the two relationships, the two marriages of Raman Bhalla...the first was purely based on attraction and superficial to the core...like Raman admitted he had nothing pertinent to discuss with Shagun because all she was bothered was to discuss fashion and be a social butterfly while he yearned for none of it and with Ishita he can have a partner who he isnt just attracted to superficially but with whom he connects on an emotional and an intellectual level - he can talk to her on politics, socialize with her and most importantly have a FAMILY with her...open his heart and know she' there to shoulder his responsibilities and burdens...to merely listen to him if thats all he needs at the end of the day...that to me is a marriage - after all if you cant talk to your partner how can you make any relationship let alone a marriage work?It was a subtle scene but with very impactful, strong undertones...As a mother Ishita has done the one thing which makes Ruhi do the things she has been doing recently - she has provided security to the little girl...Ruhi doesnt need to play games or coerce anyone neither emotionally blackmail or manipulate them...she can call her brother and birth mother out on their shit because she is basically very sure of two things - her Ishimaa would never leave her and that so long as she is around nothing wrong would happen to her...the exact opposite of what Adi feels which makes him a manipulative, sorta vindictive child who can resort to any and every means to gain his goal since his mother has basically played with the boy' emotions, toyed with him enough to make him loose his pathAs for MiMi seriously I am beyond caring for them now Mihika has become just too blah and watching Ashok as a comedian isnt doing anything for me, sure I find myself laughing at the absurdity of watching Ashok being reduced to this but it really baffles me what kinda revenge is this where Mihika makes Ashok wear a veshti and eat a spicy sambhar 😕 like the guy ruined your reputation made you almost commit suicide painted you as a immoral girl in front of the society and this is what you think will be a befitting reply - hello he hasnt accidentally ruined your school submissions or eaten your lunchLastly I dont think the infertility thing will be taken up here not unless something drastic happens which I dont think will not immediately at least...and by the time this track gets near its conclusion it perhaps may not matter because Shagun would have lost out on both her children not just one...so nope my sights arent set on the issue which would be one of the most sensitive tracks of the show if executed and written well...
