omg I laughed like crazy in that scene...someone here asked me how come I didnt post a father son bonding scene as it was special for Raman...for me that scene failed to make any emotional connect that the CVs were trying to get out of the audience...Ithis was my order of reaction...😲😕😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm not interested in the episodes thanks to the CV's habit of derailing promising tracks. However, the discussion and comments here were thought provoking.
Toshi's smothering love for adi is annoying, she should agknowledge how much compromises ishita is making in order to make this twisted arrangement work. Ishita's kindness towards shagun is infuriating but like someone already said, I can't help but feel like some form of injustice is being done to her. After giving this a thought, I realize that shagun living in the same house is perhaps the only way to get adi back into their lives, I would call this a valid/noble reason not mahaanata. yes, the could have shifted both to a seperate apartment but the the bhalla's nor raman suggested that, so we simply cannot blame Ishita. I do not like ishita not my favourite character, in fact, she is incredibly frustrating at times but a part of feels for her and all that she is putting up with. it would be nice if toshiji actually acknowledges it instead of chanting ghar ka chiraag all the time.

PS: what is this news about raman and shagun taking saat phere's during lohri? although I won't be surprised if cv's takes it that far for the sake of ratings.

Haha yup that's for sure that I hate this kid too much can't ever accept him
Hope he leaves with shagun even after reforming
well that's only if he ever reforms I don't see him reforming
Toshiji well I know she is not bad but what I hate was that her reacting and yelling at ishu after Assok filled her ears she is easy nut to crack and manipulate
Btw did you read the article about raman- shagun taking pheres on Lori Celebration?
Ewww hope that article is fake
But then there is telybuzz article stating some twist will happen during Lori which will change lives is Ishra and shagun
Don't know what crap is awaiting for us...I don't see positivity
If possible please guide me the positivity if possible
Losing all hopes day by day now

It was another balanced episode-I am glad they are giving Ishita a break-the episode not only becomes a pleasant view, it gives a peek into everyone else's mind regarding this whole issue.

I have to mention in spite all the craziness that surrounds Ishita's actions which are out the goodness of her heart, the CVs make sure there is some logical, realistic character around -be it Vandu, Raman or like in today's episode Amma. I wonder what good that does coz CVs don't really take these characters seriously in future episodes, except us praising the Lord, that someone is talking and acting sensibily!!

Yeah Toshiji is hogging the limelight now with her smothering love for the grandson, but am hoping this is meant for the climax of the track.

Raman as everyone is gushing here was in top notch form-you go dude!! High time the shrewd businessman came to the forefront-only way this mess can be cleaned up.

The mannat sequence is sooo awww...now I am convinced that we are heading to the climax of this godawful track-fingers crossed that it won't end in what the spoilers are suggesting!😕

Btw whenever Raman dons the veshti, we get a super romantic sequence😳❤️-so go veshti!

and it also helps that he looks quite delectable 😉

Hi Gan...I have been a silent reader of your posts and I like the way you perceive things. Just thought I'd post my two cents today. welcome to the thread and thank you so much!

It was a good episode over all and pertained mostly to Raman. His various shades and how he plays every role he is assigned, to the T is what stood out! agree 100%

The Father-Son moments, be it the chess, video game or veshti scenes shown in YHM today were supposed to be enjoyable. It was them bonding after a long separation and I liked it because for me the scene was all about Raman. He got to do what he has been yearning for. Spend time with his son, bond with him etc. From Aditya side I found no sincerity in those scenes because it does look like he is being happy for the sake of his mother. His mom told that this is our home and we are a family so he is putting up with it.

First thing Gautam Ahuja can't act (No offense) anything happiness, sadness, gloom, any emotion it's hard to read and I really wish they would change the actor because this is a challenging role and if somebody who can emote well is roped in probably we'll enjoy the scene more. And frankly speaking Karan-Gautam has Zero chemistry as Father-Son. There is no magic in their scene. When with Ruhi or Shravi you can relate to their scene because they bring that innocence to the table...they make you feel ...which is totally missing when Adi-Raman scenes are on. Aditya's character has been pictured in such a way that it is quite impossible to see him like anything but a child. If you want to see the scene then it would only be to watch Raman, to see him happy that what almost felt like an eternity his son is with him today and Karan does an amazing Job at pulling off such scenes with aplomb.biggest issue for me as an audience other than the fact that Gautam is not very expressive compared to the other two child actors..is the part that Karan doesn't look old enough to be a dad to a 12 year old..Karan carries the scene because of his natural ability to act...but the scene doesnt gel as well.

Mrs. Iyer may have been talking in favor of her daughter but what she said is 100% true. The Bhalla's should never forget that today if they are with their grandson it's only because of Ishita. I agree ghusse mein people don't think and say anything and everything but a back up scene where Toshi Ji or anyone for that matter (If at all in the future they go on a rampage) realize and acknowledge the fact that if the Ghar Ka Chiraag is in the Ghar it's only because of the Ghar Ki Lakshmi. unfortunately in indian telly scenario ghar ka lakshmi is the last one people think about...yes toshijee is pretty chilled out saas but still to her own bloodline comes before bahu...we saw it during param track...

My only consolation Appa's lines today...

' Humari Ishu sabse alag hai, bohat unique hai woh aur yehi wajah hai ki Raman usko bohat pyar karta hai. Raman sabko samjhta hai dekhta hai...wakai"

True Raman is the major hope in this track. His love for Ishita and him not going to chose Adi at the expense of Ishita which he has said time and again is what keeps you going. However truth is even Raman gets a little unpredictable when it comes to Adi which is a reason for worry. It's crazy how both fear and hope are relying on the same person. You're also forgetting another important aspect...Ishita herself...I'm more afraid of her actions than Raman's really...especially the way they are showing she's noticing the bonding of Adi with Bhallas and Raman. today also she noticed Adi's reaction at the temple and hesitated...

Then there is our Angel...Ruhi is a smart child, she is seeing, observing and sensing whatever it is that's going around and she has always been the shield for her Ishima so she defo is a major share holder in the HOPE Dept. She spoke up when her Ishima was called Banjh, she fought with Ishita herself when Ishita lets Pooja know that she is not Ruhi's alsi Ma, she fought with her father...She made them realize they were one person and not three persons...etc so she gives me the hope that as always she will be instrumental in IshRa's life yet again. true she's. like someone said here, the game changer...if either her father or her mom goes the other way...she;s going to point it out.

Raman the CEO...Mashallah!!!! His attitude, his chotu sa bhashan everything TOP NOTCH!!!

The temple scene...it couldn't get any better. In TV-Pur Raman has broken all conventional concepts of the ideal loving pati'.

Aditya is a kid no matter how much he tries to play his way through somewhere he will falter and it's already beginning to show...Just hope that others would pick up on that soon.

It is interesting how Ishita seems to be the only person aware of the reality but still choses to not to do anything about it while Raman and Adi are totally reading each other wrong and not seeing what the truth is.

The song Pitah was totally out of place...Sorry but it was tooo funny...They had used the same in another Balaji Show where it was SPOT ON , the emotions, the feel the song enhanced the scene here,,,it looked totally out of place. i laughed the min it came on...im like what the heck is that?😲 and then i was 🤣

This thread here is the only safe haven .. and thanks for providing a space out to hide .. day after day. you never know...I saw another thread which never indulges in negativity...getting a DT note as someone complained about the discussion about negative posts in the forum.

Apt title for the post.. Expectation vs. reality..

Today's episode was Raman's all the way. .Raman the happy dad who is glad to have his son back and enjoying playing with him. dressing him up.. feeling elated when he finds his son imitating him.. a dad who is enjoying life's simple pleasures which are kind of taken for granted by most but mean the most to those who have been deprived of such moments. So true...it was heartwarming to see him in those scenes with Adi...just wish that kid was not shown as hatching plans to uproot his father's happiness.

Raman the perceptive husband who understands Ishita's feelings without her having to spell it out.. And Raman the boss, the CEO, the guy who is a successful businessman.

Like you have mentioned many a times, Ashok-Suraj duo are a fine pair. They beg for contracts, dont have what it takes to get one on their own, but have the audacity to call raman a beggar.. I mean the duo can give constipated looks, and can play dirty games.. but thats about it. But like you said, they provide the comic relief.

Amma and appa's conversation was very well done indeed. Parents worrying about their daughter, and her future was very beautifully portrayed by the two.

Adi is gradually not being able to maintain his act and his real face is coming out.. but will the Bhalla's including Raman be smart enough to catch it? my hope that end is not far after seeing those little momentary lapses in his act...and today Ruhi (thank god!) noticed it, so did Toshijee...hopefully soon others do too

Looks like Shagun is coming back soon.. and if the sources out in IF are to be believed then she is bringing with her more tempest.. aur kitne twists chaahiye? Ab jo kaand ho raha hai woh kaafi nahi hai kya? Why are they stretching it? Do the CVs even have an idea where to take this? Is it heading towards separation or Adi's rehabilitation or Raman's realization that Adi is a lost cause and that he has to choose between Adi and Ishita? Janne ke liye YHM dekhiye 7:30 pm ya 11:30 pm Star plus channel pe 😆 kidding aside...I cant take Shagun at all...I hope she's out of the Bhalla house soon😡

Again I am digressing (my tunnel vision glasses are lost amongst the various posts in the forum) Raman shouting at Ishita seems to be the lesser of the evils when compared to Shagun Raman doing lohri pooja together to keep Adi happy.. Adi doesnt need to live in a make believe world.. he needs to face the reality.. and either make peace with it.. or walk away from it all.

A little bit of logic, and keeping the characters and their actions close to reality as much as possible is what most of us want.. not too much to ask for from the makers of this show. Fiction doesnt mean it has to be illogical and I hope that the CVs remember that.

Everyday i seem to be ending my post with the following sentence and today too will do the same.. Please cvs.. cut it short .. have had enough of Shagun/adi drama.. close this chapter.. asap. AMEN TO THAT!

Well all these OLVs and other segments have created so much negativity in the forum all over again and I have no energy to really go through them n spoil my day ahead.

Adi's double games are slowly coming out either in front of Ruhi or in front of other members of the family barring Ishitha and the kid yes he is playing but he loses the plot and gets overboad loosing himself. Even the precap suggest the same. All of a sudden his mood changes and I am sure they are going to overtake this action of his saying he is missing his mother or he is just warming up with all. But there is one person who is younger to him is able to see through him. If other set of spoilers are true then it will be Ruhi who will be saving her Ishima from this nonsense. @bold our biggest hope in the situation to keep Ishra together.

The track has reached the crux and with Shagun's return more than Ishitha it is Raman who will be facing more of the mental trauma. Torn between two sides. Oaths taken, pheres performed tomorrow and now we're left to wonder how much all this will hold or rather stand true in the future. I have more faith on Raman finding a middle path than Ishita trying to sacrifice for Raman and Adi being together...my hopes: Ruhi and Raman both I am sure it is going to to be IshRa all the way and both are going to support only each other. Misunderstanding is a part of married life. Small things happen so am really not worried about the kitchen incident rather I am looking forward to another kitchen romance😳...Are you talking about the OLV of Raman shouting at Ishita for not knowing where Adi was? I feel it was a natural couple scene..MU is part of life...that's why "sorry" was invented by mankind😉

RKB is back with a bang. Ashok and Saasuma got something which was pending for long and it was just taunt ka baarish. Loved it. It was a father who spoke. He did not want anything more than his son. He was willing to sacrifice even 100 contracts and clearly it was saasuma n Dino who were begging. Partially the custody is with Raman now and this will complete after shagun's return.

High time Adi understands reality n expects out of it and not stay in his own dream planet which he built along with his mother and spoil his future.unfortunately every single time he dreams of a 'family', it's the one his mom creates for him .making him call Ashok Dad when his own dad was willing to be one...and now she wants to be with his dad so promises him a 'family' with Raman and Ruhi totally uncaring about Raman or ruhi's feelings...his dreams are confined within his mom's high aspirations... It's clear form yesterday that toshi holds no grudge for the medicine mishap with Ishitha. Raat gayi bhaat gayi hope I am right here.

Loved the shot when IshRa hold their hands and Adi looks at it . Sure hinting many things😳...
Those collages were beautiful and I am off to stare at them.

Madhavi's premonition does give bad vibes about the upcoming episodes, since she has rarely been wrong in such predictions. Read Krikumar's post and hope that this is what the CV's also have in mind.😕
Till then I guess I'll just be happy with the upcoming temple scene tomorrow and turn a tunnel vision to the rest. 😆.
Hope the CV's have not lost it completely yet!! Also, the new promo indicates Ruhi's insecurity, should be a great additional dimension to this track, only if it is handled properly.

And of course, Brilliant collages and quote as always!!!!👏... (Going back to drool some more so that I can get my mind back to reading scientific literature, if its possible😆)

it was a good episode though...
the phere is what i'm also looking forward to.

thank you!
