Hi Gan...I have been a silent reader of your posts and I like the way you perceive things. Just thought I'd post my two cents today. welcome to the thread and thank you so much!
It was a good episode over all and pertained mostly to Raman. His various shades and how he plays every role he is assigned, to the T is what stood out! agree 100%
The Father-Son moments, be it the chess, video game or veshti scenes shown in YHM today were supposed to be enjoyable. It was them bonding after a long separation and I liked it because for me the scene was all about Raman. He got to do what he has been yearning for. Spend time with his son, bond with him etc. From Aditya side I found no sincerity in those scenes because it does look like he is being happy for the sake of his mother. His mom told that this is our home and we are a family so he is putting up with it.
First thing Gautam Ahuja can't act (No offense) anything happiness, sadness, gloom, any emotion it's hard to read and I really wish they would change the actor because this is a challenging role and if somebody who can emote well is roped in probably we'll enjoy the scene more. And frankly speaking Karan-Gautam has Zero chemistry as Father-Son. There is no magic in their scene. When with Ruhi or Shravi you can relate to their scene because they bring that innocence to the table...they make you feel ...which is totally missing when Adi-Raman scenes are on. Aditya's character has been pictured in such a way that it is quite impossible to see him like anything but a child. If you want to see the scene then it would only be to watch Raman, to see him happy that what almost felt like an eternity his son is with him today and Karan does an amazing Job at pulling off such scenes with aplomb.biggest issue for me as an audience other than the fact that Gautam is not very expressive compared to the other two child actors..is the part that Karan doesn't look old enough to be a dad to a 12 year old..Karan carries the scene because of his natural ability to act...but the scene doesnt gel as well.
Mrs. Iyer may have been talking in favor of her daughter but what she said is 100% true. The Bhalla's should never forget that today if they are with their grandson it's only because of Ishita. I agree ghusse mein people don't think and say anything and everything but a back up scene where Toshi Ji or anyone for that matter (If at all in the future they go on a rampage) realize and acknowledge the fact that if the Ghar Ka Chiraag is in the Ghar it's only because of the Ghar Ki Lakshmi. unfortunately in indian telly scenario ghar ka lakshmi is the last one people think about...yes toshijee is pretty chilled out saas but still to her own bloodline comes before bahu...we saw it during param track...
My only consolation Appa's lines today...
' Humari Ishu sabse alag hai, bohat unique hai woh aur yehi wajah hai ki Raman usko bohat pyar karta hai. Raman sabko samjhta hai dekhta hai...wakai"
True Raman is the major hope in this track. His love for Ishita and him not going to chose Adi at the expense of Ishita which he has said time and again is what keeps you going. However truth is even Raman gets a little unpredictable when it comes to Adi which is a reason for worry. It's crazy how both fear and hope are relying on the same person. You're also forgetting another important aspect...Ishita herself...I'm more afraid of her actions than Raman's really...especially the way they are showing she's noticing the bonding of Adi with Bhallas and Raman. today also she noticed Adi's reaction at the temple and hesitated...
Then there is our Angel...Ruhi is a smart child, she is seeing, observing and sensing whatever it is that's going around and she has always been the shield for her Ishima so she defo is a major share holder in the HOPE Dept. She spoke up when her Ishima was called Banjh, she fought with Ishita herself when Ishita lets Pooja know that she is not Ruhi's alsi Ma, she fought with her father...She made them realize they were one person and not three persons...etc so she gives me the hope that as always she will be instrumental in IshRa's life yet again. true she's. like someone said here, the game changer...if either her father or her mom goes the other way...she;s going to point it out.
Raman the CEO...Mashallah!!!! His attitude, his chotu sa bhashan everything TOP NOTCH!!!
The temple scene...it couldn't get any better. In TV-Pur Raman has broken all conventional concepts of the ideal loving pati'.
Aditya is a kid no matter how much he tries to play his way through somewhere he will falter and it's already beginning to show...Just hope that others would pick up on that soon.
It is interesting how Ishita seems to be the only person aware of the reality but still choses to not to do anything about it while Raman and Adi are totally reading each other wrong and not seeing what the truth is.
The song Pitah was totally out of place...Sorry but it was tooo funny...They had used the same in another Balaji Show where it was SPOT ON , the emotions, the feel the song enhanced the scene here,,,it looked totally out of place. i laughed the min it came on...im like what the heck is that?😲 and then i was 🤣
