In the upcoming episodes, Bhallas and Iyers will decide to celebrate Pongal and Lohri together. Ishita and Raman will visit the temple along with Adi and other family members. While performing prayers, Raman will lift Ishita in his arms to perform the rituals of "saat phere" (seven circumambulations) again with a wish of happy married life together for next seven births as well. Adi will be fuming in anger seeing his father sharing some lovely moments with Ishita. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) will come back to Delhi cutting her Australia trip short after hearing Adi's illness and Ishita will request Raman to pick her up after the Pongal function as Romi and Mihir will be busy with own work. Seeing an opportunity, Shagun will cook up a story and tell Raman that they will have to meet Adi's counselor for an urgent parents meeting at the outskirts of Delhi. Raman will not agree as there will be a Lohri function at night but Shagun will call Ishita and take her permission. Ishita will assure Raman for taking care of everything and with no options left Raman will go for a long drive with Shagun to meet the counselor. Shagun will keep reminding Raman about their numerous long-drives after Raman got his first official car. They will not be able to meet any counselor as Shagun deliberately faked it but she will again remind Raman about their happy long-drive memories. Raman will be visibly angry listening this while Shagun will say that those were the best days of their lives.
In the meanwhile, Adi will be scolding Ruhi saying her Ishima is an outsider and she belongs to Shagun as she is her real mother. Ruhi will leave the place with teary eyes and Ishita will ask Adi what is bothering him. A fuming Adi will accuse Ishita as home-wrecker as his parents got divorced exactly a year ago and now Ishita is happily celebrating festivals leaving his family scattered. Ishita will be sad hearing his accusation and try to make him happy as it is needed for his medication. When Raman and Shagun will arrive late, they will see all gathered for Lohri adjacent to the parking lot. There will be business associates too from Raman's office and family members will ask Raman and Ishita to perform the rituals. But all will be shocked when Ishita will ask Raman and Shagun to perform "saat phere" around the fire. More shock will be waiting for them as Ishita will give Raman a Punjabi Mangalsutra and ask him to tie a Mangalsutra around Shagun's neck. Dumbfounded Raman will confront Ishita in a corner alone and ask for clarification. Ishita will say that it is just doing circles around the fire and the Mangalsutra does not hold any significance as it is just a neck chain. She will further say that her Thaali (Tamil Mangalsutra) is still around her neck and if Raman makes shagun wear that Mangalsutra it will not change anything. Stunned Raman will have no choice but to follow Ishita's words, Bhallas and Iyers will watch with shock on their faces that Raman and Ishita are performing "saat phere" around the fire and Raman is tying Punjabi Mangalsutra around Shagun's neck.
