me first...yey yey yey...doing happy dance...🥳
will wait for ur update n then edit... have loads to say..
superb post as well as collages as usual...
Unres

what u said about male child n thought process is so true...till now there are ppl who wud pray for male child as tht is supposed to continue the khandaan... i still remember i had to listen to shit like may god give you a male child (kartikeya) for ur khandaan... n when i asked the person why not lakshmi...she gave me a khaadaan ka lecture...its other thing that i bashed her left right center n next time she didnt dare open her mouth... but that is the truth of the older generation... they have their tunnel vision on regarding this issue... i have seen modern people also craving for ghar ka chirag... its sad but may be the issue is much deeper. many social issues into play here...so i will not go into tht...

yes adi acknowleding raman as papa was really heartwarming...but i was just wondering achanak kaise?? i mean he has done for adi always... so y suddenly today adi understood... may be shagun not being present helped him... it was really pleasant to watch raman so happy...

Well many people here i ave noticed say tht raman discriminates between adi n ruhi becoz of their gender... the psychology here is tht...u yearn for the one who is not near u... yes ruhi was also not with him... but ruhi's love for raman was never in doubt... but aditya's was...n hence may be the overreaction...the accepting n allowing faults as well... which has toned down thank god...

ishita's decision...i think the cvs played it very nicely... being the type of person she is.. it is not possible for her to think tht soemone can plan soemthing so evil..tht too a kid..n yet she understood there is soemthing amiss... n hence her decision...brilliantly done by cvs n ofcourse amazing acting by DT as usual...

Raman n Ishita... okk one observation...have u noticed..they r colour coordinated these days... both were wearing shades of pink... love their colour coordination... n puttar..i found it so funny tht amidst these tensions n his son being hospitalized, puttar just cant forget tht their romance gets interrupted by everyone under this sun...so suggestion of europe... tht was hilarious... 'pati bechara'...rest of the scene... i love ishra scene always...n ishru scene too.. these two really look like mom daughter... if i cud..i wud now also jump on my mom's godi...

PS: my new yhm addict mom was very upset coz she wasnt allowed to watch yhm today all thanks to my dad n his news channel... n she called me to complain...n i had a scolding session with my dad so tht she get to watch from tmrw onwards... 😆

Terrific collages and quotes Gan- loved KP & DT's looks today and ISHRA's most persistent cupid looked perfect in her cameo as well.

What a beautiful, balanced episode. Looks like the CVs are really working on the art of balance these days.. hope it continues upon Shagun's return.

Will wait for your post and then comment... unlike Saturday!☺️ Sorry. No more RES-ing for me.

---- EDIT----
Love your post- especially your point about being 'Isimaa' and 'Papa' and Raman finally getting what he yearned for from his son.

A lot more to appreciate in this episode then perhaps I expected. A lot of people talked about the big moments, so I will appreciate the little moments. I loved the immediate change in RKB's aura when Ishu took her seat beside him in the hospital- how much her mere presence means for him doesn't even need to be verbalized. Just looking at his body language, the way the tauntness leaves him and he visibly softens, the way he opens up ... more then the hospital scene when she was the patient for the fast it reminded me of their first real bonding experience, when Ammah was in the hospital- what a beautiful contrast those scenes make.

His ability to be so vulnerable around her and trust that she will be his strength and support as always is a beautiful thing to behold. And that 'really?' *thud* again, one word, the same word as when she talked about how they had a 'dream wedding' and he was the 'perfect husband' and I'm gone- KP is just too much sometimes...

As for his defense of Ishu, what I really appreciated about that scene was the presence of Mr. & Mrs. Iyer. Until now, they have herd Ishu speak of Raman's love for her, they have suspected it a well but they have never been witness to the change in Raman upon realizing his love. I am discounting their exchange in the hall at Rinki's welcome party because in its flirtatiousness it was quite similar to similar exchange of the past .

And this confrontation with Toshi is the kind of thing that Madhavi had feared- so for them to witness his unabashed support of Ishu and see the strength in her partner when she is standing there not defending herself, to see him not even requesting a defence, I believe that said more to the Iyers about the change in their relationship then any words could have. Of course Raman has always been Ishu's knight in shining armour, as much as ishu has been his but this Raman- this 'don't bash my wife because she is my wife and she doesn't need to say anything because I know her, you know her ' Raman- that's a sight to behold.

Loved ISHRARU and our princess Ru, always ready with a warm hug to protect and save her Papa and Ishimaa. The only thing I want to point to in that scene is the fact that Ishu was blaming herself. Of course she should have been honest with Raman, but her reasoning there is somewhat understandable. But her reasons for blaming herself- that's of more interest to me.

That again goes to the psychology of her infertility and the inferiority complex it has created within her in my opinion. This particular instance is about the insecurity she feel as a step mother, as a 'lesser mother'...and to a certain extent a lesser woman. She is blaming herself for being blind to what was coming- not for the act itself but the intention. She is blaming herself because if she had connected with him, if she had been what Raman thinks she is (the reason Adhi is starting to connect with him) then this would not have happened.

And maybe on some level, she is mourning that she can never be what Raman wishes she was - Adhi's mother. This ofcourse, is only armchair psychology, but to some extent I think there is truth in here. And , as I have previously stated, I really hope that CVs delve more into this aspect of Ishu's psyche. It makes her more real, less perfect and wonderfully complex.

PS: By no more RES-ing I meant I will no longer reserve empty posts, like I did on Saturday- not fair to you or anyone else. I'll do my best to always say something in my responses, rather then simply reserving.

DOC: Welcome back🥳🤗 L.O.V.E. your post... love the dissection- when you post on RKB you make me love RKB & KP even more ... and this was one such post. And Lion king...Come ON! You are just stacking the deck at this point...

The following is for you... and your post... the precap and the return of the great RKB

Here's to positive thinking ladies, and a swift end to this track, I'm still counting the days- despite episodes like this!😉

Beautiful collages and quotes Gan-as usual:) was waiting for your post!
Indeed it was a very nice episode-seemed very well balanced and toned down after what seemed like a never ending avalanche of OTT & melodramatic episodes.

Everyone was in character-Toshiji(however annoying her stance on the 'ghar ka chirag' issue-her outburst in front of Bhalla ji and then on Ishita was as expected-I was pleasantly surprised on how toned down those scenes were-good job director!

Raman was spot on with his defense of Ishita-any more or less anger would have diluted the scene-he understands that Toshiji is not Shagun when it comes to blaming Ishita when it comes to their troubles-so his mellowed bhashan to his overtly sensitive & affected mother was just right.

Ishita's reactions were finally indicative of someone deeply hurt by the blame, Adi's condition & her inability of not being able to gain his affection-I felt for her today-and I thanked the Lord-she is human:)

The best scene for me was the father-son bonding at home. What beautiful portrayal of happiness and disbelief by KP. I have never really gotten a chance to gush how wonderful and spot on KP is with his scenes with the kids-he is just brilliant! Looking at that scene, you forget how nasty Adi is & how it's impossible to feel sympathy for this messed up kid. I wanted to go give Raman a bear hug after that scene-too good!!

Ishita-Raman-Ruhi scene was a soother-breezy & just right again! Am hoping the CVs have heard and taken the criticism seriously & will continue keeping it realistic(as much as possible)& low on the melodrama quotient!

Waiting to see the Khanna brothers reaction tomorrow:)

Sorry for being aloof. Still trying to find my ground with YHM these days.

Couldn't connect...which I find odd cause there was so much Raman-Adi today. 😕

I'll be back...I think I need to try watching it again later...I think the fact that I know it's all a farce on Adi's part is getting to me. I feel bad for My RKB. 💔

I'll try to come back...maybe once I read your take, I'll feel differently.

Love,
P

Loved the collages... Loved the adi n papa moment more than ishra moment... These small moments are the one's we are waiting which in long run makes the unbreakable bond b/w them..those few seconds touched my heart..!!
