Toshiji's character has always been a yo-yo. She has rarely done anything like a typical TV-Saas... She is shown to have a modern outlook and she is straightforward... always... it's like an older, wiser version of Raman.

But, she has always been too emotional... in many cases, she has even said things to Ishita, only to take them back later. They usually do show her contemplating her actions and realising her mistakes.

I agree with Monal that they made Mr Bhalla talk some sense into her. That is good.

Yes, she blurted out things about ghar ka chirag and all that, and even Ruhi being a 'temporary' person if you would. But she will soon realise. In her heart, i dont think she has less love for Ruhi. and i don't think she compared in that way. I think it was just a tool for the makers to use... so they could make Raman balance it out later 😳

BUT, yes, it was a bit too much to be provoked by Ashok to go blaming Ishita. If she would have just got mad at Ishita, I would have understood... but Ashok ki baatein sunne laayak hoti nahin hain. She should know that by now 😆
