Hello all

Disclaimer: This is a positive post. (aajkal bolna padta hai😳)

I am, myself, not happy with the current track, and have said mean things about it and screamed till I lost my voice, and have now started making fun of it.

BUT, there was something I read in the written updates today that made me write this post today. I will watch this scene later, so if I have misunderstood something (or taken it too seriously), please ignore.

For the purposes of my post, I am ignoring the ruining of characters that the CVs have so excellently achieved. So I will not say anything about the absurdity that is YHM these days.

*****

The essence of IshRa from day 1 (even before they married), had been about the meeting of two drastically different personalities. As much as a soft corner I have for Raman, I must admit that the contrast in Ishita and Raman is what made this relationship special for me.

Raman; the man who was completely destroyed by betrayal, had become angry, rude and cut-throat. What he thought, he said. When in anger, he lashed out. Almost always, without thinking of consequences, he took actions.

Ishita; the woman who was rejected for reasons out of her control (and by some regressive definition, an incomplete woman), was a blackbox. She carried a smile and a positive outlook with her everywhere. She had the patience to deal with her worried parents, the courtesy to deal with neighbours, the love to give a lovelorn child, and an extremely accurate moral compass to fix problems. She rarely overreacted, and that too, only if she was pushed. She was calm, and the voice of reason.

When these two met, Raman started softening. He started thinking more calmly, taking a long-term view of problems. His actions were no longer spur of the moment (unless of course when he was beating up villains), and his humour started getting nicer. At this point, I was waiting for Ishita to become a bit different too. I wanted her to open up more, and wear her heart on her sleeve. I wanted to see the insecurity and good (she seemed to have both) in Ishita come out in the open.

It took a long time, but today, I think, what I read was: Ishita has now done something extreme that provoked Raman to speak up. She has been falling into Shagun's trap because of her own emotions. She is trying to save Adi (because of her love for Raman AND Adi). But in the quest for earning Adi's love and trust, she has made mistakes. She has trapped herself into a bubble where the only emotion she feels is the urge to save Adi. She isn't listening to reason anymore. Because her own voice of reason was taken over by her emotions.

Enter Raman Bhalla (You all know what he said and how he was right, I wont elaborate)... He made sense today when he saw his other half making a mistake. The brash one has become the voice of reason, the voice of reason became rash.

Long story short:

I don't know if this was deliberate, or if this was to placate the fans who are critical of Ishita's actions, or if it was a ploy to make us smile before something worse happens, or if it was just a coincidence. But the by-product of this scene for me is that these 2 people have changed into each other. If for nothing else, I will watch that scene to see the contrast in the 2 people. I want to see if Raman's voice of reason is as strong as Ishita's used to be, and I want to see if an emotionally-trapped Ishita is as rash as Raman used to be, and if they balance each other like earlier.

*****

PS:

tomorrow, when this scene is forgotten, and Ishita goes back to JM mode, and Raman back to mute-husband mode, and we all get mad again... You can throw this post at my face and laugh at me 😆... and even throw chappals then... 😳

But till then, let me believe that today's scene was about how people transform in love & pick up traits from their partner.

Firstly I want to understand this whole Notion of positivity n negativity?
Positive post? Like If I say Ishita is wrong, CVs r wrong I become negative? How? M just voicing my opinion. As long as am not bashing any character/ members not calling them names I guess it is not supposed to be negative. (This is a general comment not related to this post only).

Coming to ur post Lucky, truly loved it. 👏

I had that small ray of hope that CVs r interested in showing Ishita as a character, her growth, her journey needs to be defined aLong with Raman's.

Although I liked what Raman said today but m still unhappy with the fact that he had to keep Shagun at his place, he was ok giving earrings to Shagun n celebrating Wedding anniversary. Anyways when I as a viewer compare Raman's journey it still looks justified somewhere although this character has been compromised too.

As far as Ishita is concerned, she started off as someone who loves her family a lot, had a broken past. She was rejected by suitors as she cud not bear children. It made for a scarred woman with issues but still she was optimistic about her life, she liked spreading happiness to other people in pain etc. It made up for a wonderful soul. When she was getting married, or during Ruhi custody case (part 1 ) she did not get fooled by Shagun who tried to manipulate her by saying Raman is hiding his Son from her or Raman when he bribed Bala's mom to give fake testimony in court during Ruhi's custody. Both times Raman had lied to her n yet she was smart enough to understand those lies and work her way around it.

While she was meddlesome during Ruhi custody n later got married to a Devil to ensure that Ruhi gets good nurturing, she was still believable in her sacrificial n meddlesome form. Coz somewhere she did it for giving her love to Ruhi n to protect Ruhi and also partly she was selfish to have Ruhi in her life.Somewhere we could see her smartness.

Now what she is doing to Adi is no way going to help him overcome his issues- confused identity of whom to call dad. Its important for Adi to accept Raman as a dad n also Ishita as Raman's wife. She cannot be Adi's mother overnight? N no way is she being his mother by giving her rights to Shagun.
As far as Adi accepting Ishita as his mom might take time (depending on fact that Shagun gives up on him for good or Adi sees her in bad light) or might never happen coz he associates Shagun as his mom.

My problems with CVs r that they have gone overboard with Ishita's sacrificing and meddlesome nature. Earlier Ishita was sacrificing n meddlesome but she was intelligent and wise too. While they have maintained some traits of old Ishita they have completely given up on her most interesting facet - a strong woman with a strong Mind!

I know CVs will flip her character again tomorrow for their TRPs but atleast they should not stoop so low as to Wife entertaining her Sautan etc. Indian TV viewers have already seen that years ago, we are not interested in seeing it again n again.

😆 loved the PS bit.. cuz that is the reality of all TV shows..

but loved your post and everything you said... at first i skimmed through the IshRa scene (when i started to watch the episode) cuz i wanted to see the hug, then i watched the scene.. and with each point Raman was making, i was agreeing!!!

and then the hug.. and it reminded me of those times, when they hated each other's guts... its amazing how far these two have come together... in their relationship, growing together.. understanding one another... and how comfortable they are with one another

they 'jatao' their hak on one another.. its a beautiful sight

and its because of ALL OF THIS.. we're all here today cuz they brought us here.. because of how different they were and how perfectly they fit together, back then... and even more, now...

Editing!!!

PS - thank you for letting us know, its a positive post.. i can understand everyone's frustration with the storyline but i choose to avoid it..cuz it IS a show at the end of the day, wasting my energy being frustrated over it.. was my thing 5+ years ago.. 😆😆 now i just find better things to do with my time and lately the forum members seem to be on a roll with the hungama, which i want to avoid... hence avoiding pretty much all posts.. but since ur post said its a positive one, i read on.. 😳😆

Nice post,..glad for positive about ishita...
I dont support what ishita did .it was wrong .
She need to be selfish...
But I dont agree so much hate she got from yhm fans...
Yar whatever she do doesnot mean she doesnt deserve him or she doesnt love raman...
She has many times tried to say her feeling and yesterday she does wrong but for raman...
Person who loves so much or unconditional y doesnot deserve so much hate...
Mistakes are sumtime severe everybody do yar u need to tell them...but she is supported so if no one say her wrong how will she be wrong...
Person who do mistake need what rkb gave today not hate which forums deliver ed..
I read yesterday comments...some things bother...
My prov is this much hate forum gives she doesnt deserve that...

I know many disagree ...

P.S. I doesnt support ishu and puttar for yesterday it was bad ...
But hate and bashing everyone gives is too much

Beautiful wrote post..👍🏼
I loved how u explained the scene ..how they came long across that they have now started picking up each-other traits..got into each-other skin...
maybe we get to see some angry Ishu & calm Raman if start picking up there behavior too...

for PS its Normal for Tv shows making changes with each passing week...show if has its own low & high phase...
unless untill they keep the interest of viewers its good for show...
