Hello all
Disclaimer: This is a positive post. (aajkal bolna padta hai😳)
I am, myself, not happy with the current track, and have said mean things about it and screamed till I lost my voice, and have now started making fun of it.
BUT, there was something I read in the written updates today that made me write this post today. I will watch this scene later, so if I have misunderstood something (or taken it too seriously), please ignore.
For the purposes of my post, I am ignoring the ruining of characters that the CVs have so excellently achieved. So I will not say anything about the absurdity that is YHM these days.

The essence of IshRa from day 1 (even before they married), had been about the meeting of two drastically different personalities. As much as a soft corner I have for Raman, I must admit that the contrast in Ishita and Raman is what made this relationship special for me.
Raman; the man who was completely destroyed by betrayal, had become angry, rude and cut-throat. What he thought, he said. When in anger, he lashed out. Almost always, without thinking of consequences, he took actions.
Ishita; the woman who was rejected for reasons out of her control (and by some regressive definition, an incomplete woman), was a blackbox. She carried a smile and a positive outlook with her everywhere. She had the patience to deal with her worried parents, the courtesy to deal with neighbours, the love to give a lovelorn child, and an extremely accurate moral compass to fix problems. She rarely overreacted, and that too, only if she was pushed. She was calm, and the voice of reason.
When these two met, Raman started softening. He started thinking more calmly, taking a long-term view of problems. His actions were no longer spur of the moment (unless of course when he was beating up villains), and his humour started getting nicer. At this point, I was waiting for Ishita to become a bit different too. I wanted her to open up more, and wear her heart on her sleeve. I wanted to see the insecurity and good (she seemed to have both) in Ishita come out in the open.
It took a long time, but today, I think, what I read was: Ishita has now done something extreme that provoked Raman to speak up. She has been falling into Shagun's trap because of her own emotions. She is trying to save Adi (because of her love for Raman AND Adi). But in the quest for earning Adi's love and trust, she has made mistakes. She has trapped herself into a bubble where the only emotion she feels is the urge to save Adi. She isn't listening to reason anymore. Because her own voice of reason was taken over by her emotions.
Enter Raman Bhalla (You all know what he said and how he was right, I wont elaborate)... He made sense today when he saw his other half making a mistake. The brash one has become the voice of reason, the voice of reason became rash.
Long story short:
I don't know if this was deliberate, or if this was to placate the fans who are critical of Ishita's actions, or if it was a ploy to make us smile before something worse happens, or if it was just a coincidence. But the by-product of this scene for me is that these 2 people have changed into each other. If for nothing else, I will watch that scene to see the contrast in the 2 people. I want to see if Raman's voice of reason is as strong as Ishita's used to be, and I want to see if an emotionally-trapped Ishita is as rash as Raman used to be, and if they balance each other like earlier.

PS:
tomorrow, when this scene is forgotten, and Ishita goes back to JM mode, and Raman back to mute-husband mode, and we all get mad again... You can throw this post at my face and laugh at me 😆... and even throw chappals then... 😳
But till then, let me believe that today's scene was about how people transform in love & pick up traits from their partner.
