Loved The holi part Shravani.. It was cute.. loved the mischievious Raman.. Ishra seemed do happy.. The tricks Raman used to color his family members were hilarious.. Loved how Ruhi supported Raman.. it was a cute holi scenario,, Beautifully written 👏

Hey lovely people.. This is the challenge given to me by Lata ( Lata_Ishra ) .. i really hope could do a bit of the justice to it..

Here it goes

Mihir:- To bhai next week ki meeting confirmed??

Raman engrossed in his file..

Raman:- Haan haan.. Date kya hai bol.. (Tell me the Date) Ill ask my secretary to note it down..

(Tell me the Date.. Ill ask my secretary to note it down..)

Mihir:- Jan 21^st bhai..

Raman:- Mihir yaar ye date bahut suni suni si lag rahi hai.. (This Date seems familiar)

Mihir:- Haan bhai har saal aati hai isliye familiar lag rahi hogi.. (It comes every year may be that's why)

Raman:- Har saal to 20 Jan bhi aati hai.. But 21^st Jan... Oh No Batley.. Us din to teri bhabhi ka b'day hai.. (Oh no .. That day is your Bhabhi's birthday)

Mihir:- Oh haan bhai.. Aaap Bhabhi ka b'day bhul gaye... Sharam aani chahiye..

(Oh Yes Bhai .. You forgot Bhabhi's birthday shame on you.. )

Raman:- Oho oho Bhabhi ka chamcha.. Abhi teri bhabhi ko bataun ki 21^st Jan har saal aata hai?? Nahi na.. to chup baith..

(Ohh Bhabhi's pet.. Should I tell her u said 21^st Jan isn't special coz it comes every year. No na.. then keep quiet)

Mihir:- Ohkay bhai.. so meeting cancelled??

Raman:- You are still asking???

Mihir:- Got it Bhai...

Saying so Mihir left. Raman rested his head on his chair and got lost in his thoughts.

Raman:- (Self thought) So meri Madrasan ka birthday aa raha hai.. It has to be special.. Aakhir CEO of the year ki boss ka birthday hai... Madrasan to made my birthday extra special and now it's my turn.. My Birthday..

He uttered the twp words an got lost in the memories of the day..

*FLASHBACK*

It was his birthday within 30 minutes.. From past 6 years the day use to be the day he use to hide himself and switch off his phone.. The wishes were like curse for him.. Although her mother would always get succeeded in sending him some gift or another but he could never stop her.

But this year it was indeed different. His life has turned around. His loneliness is replaced by the giggles of his daughter and lectures of his wife.. Just an year can change a lot he thought...

He looked at another side of bed and found his two girls sleeping peacefully cuddling with each other...

Raman:- My life is with me... The two most beautiful fairies.. But wait a minute.. Its my birthday and they are sleeping.. Aren't they gonna wish me?? Ye Madrasan to jeeta jaagta Calendar hai.. mera birthday bhool gayi kya??

He got up a little to have a closer look to check if she is really sleeping or pretending to sleep.. He was lost in her beauty.. He slowly moved closer and pecked her forehead and then pecked his daughter..

Raman:- Koi baat nahi.. Nahi bhi yaad hai to.. They both are wth me. They both love me.. that's God's best gift for me..

Saying so he pulled the duvet and within no time went into a deep slumber. Ishita who was pretty awake smiled at his words and said..

Ishita:- (ST) Raavan Kumar ye aapka most memorable birthday hoga and I promise you that..

He felt sun rays hitting his eyes.. He got up like a normal day but suddenly remembered it was his birthday.. He thought his wife had slept early yester night so she might wish him early in the morning...

He glanced at watch when his remaining sleep evaded and his eyes were big in shock..

Raman:- Its already 8... Ishitaaa... Ishitaaa... Is pagal madrasan ne mujhe uthaya kyun nahi?? Ruhi bhi uth gayi... Ishitaaa

Ishita literally came panting and yelled..

Ishita:- Kya hai raavan kumar.. subah subah kyun chilla rahe ho?? Uthte hi ghar ko sar pe utha liya... Mujhe kitna kaam hota hai subah subah.. Ruhi Adi ko school b jana hai... Clinic ki bhi shakal dekhni hai.. aur aap ho ki..

Raman:- oho Chennai Express.. Aise hi ruk jaaogi ya laal jhandi dikhaun ??

Ishita:- Kya chahiye aapko??

Raman:- Ye batao tumne mujhe uthaya kyun nahi??

Ishita:- Uthaya tha.. patani kya badbada rahe the aap.. wish me wish me.. Aur phir dbara so gaye..

Raman:- tumne kiya wish??

Ishita:- kis baat ke liye Raman?? Bataya bhi nahi... koi naya award mila hai kya??

Raman:- (facepalm) haan mila hai.. Duniya ka sabse dukhiyari pati...

Ishita:- Kyaaa kucch bhi subah subah shuru ho gaye.. Tayyar ho jaao office ke liye...

She turned around and smiled while he looked at her retreating figure..

It was 2:30 PM and no one has wished him till now.. Ishita made sure none does.. His phone wasn't receiving any calls or messages today because his sim card was replaced by her... He called her but her number was busy because unknowingly he was calling her number with her sim only.. He frustratingly engrossed himself in the files..

It was 3:30 PM when his secretary informed him about his meeting with some clients in some random hotel which was again Ishita's plan and was executed by her favourite dever Mihir..

It took him almost 30 minutes to reach the place and he was there at 4:14..

His entry was at right time as he was very much punctual.. The hall he was guided to displayed some party arrangements... He thought the place isn't for him when he heard a sound...

"Happy Birthday To You... Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday dear hubby the best.. Happy birthday to you..."

He had just recognized the voice when he heard another one..

"Happy Birthday to my loveliest Papa.. Thanks for being the best papa in the world"

Yes it was his daughter..

"Happy birthday Papa.. My strong papa.. Thanks for loving me urmm us a lot"

It was his son..

"Oye puttar mere happy nu happy birthday di lakh lakh wadaiyaan.. Thenku ji thenku.. mera beeba puttar"

It was his mom..

"Thank you bhai.. Happy birthday to you"

These were his siblings..

he looked to find them but couldn't find anyone.. When suddenly a balloon burst and everybody appeared from nowhere wishing him, hugging him, kissing him (off course his kids) and congratulating him.. He smiled when his mother told him that it was his wife's plan to wish him at his birth time that is 4:23 PM.. He smiled at her wonderful idea and turned his gaze in all four directions.. His mother told him that there is another surprise waiting for him...

He heard a voice..

"Raman"

He looked at the direction of the sound and saw his wife standing with the mike in her hands..

Ishita:- Raman... Means Beloved.. Like name Like him.. I know he seems to be a lil arrogant but a platinum would shy away and turn its face in front of his heart.. A priceless heart.. Raman this one is exclusively for you my dear husband..

After finishing the song she said..

Ishita:- Let me end the battle between us Raman.. Let me win the competition here by telling you the most precious truth of my life.. That is.. I LOVE YOU RAMAN.. I love you till eternity.. and see here I win.. I wish we get to celebrate 100 more birthdays of yours and may I sing 1000 more songs for you..

His eyes were shedding tears.. His wife has once again bowled him with her words..
