Shagun decides to teach a lesson to Ashok but he doesn't answer his calls. She then directly goes to his house to confront him face to face. But Shagun gets a big surprise from Ashok, when his enters his house along with Mihika as his newly wedded wife. Shagun is infuriated by the sight and launches her anger at Mihika. She curses her for taking Ashok away from her life and ruining her. Ashok warns her to stay away from Mihika. Shagun then pleads Ashok to forgive her and reconcile their engagement. Ashok makes it clear that Mihika is now his wife and he cannot marry Shagun at any cost.

This further enrages her further and Shagun says that she left her family and kids only for him and now he is cheating her. Ashok reminds Shagun that she never came for him but for him money. Besides, Ashok has always paid for all her expenses and luxuries, which is why she wanted to marry him. Shagun then insists to stay at his house but Ashok drags her out of his house along with her belongings.

This comes as a shock for Shagun and she starts taking alcohol to soothe her pain. Adi comes in search of his mother and finds her in semi conscious state in the bar. He tries to take her home but Shagun randomly walks on the streets. Unable to control her, confused Adi calls Raman for help. When Raman and Ishita arrive, they are shocked to see Shagun in a helpless situation. They both take her to the Bhalla house along with Adi. Raman explains the reason why he got Shagun home to his family. Ishita takes cares of Shagun and feeds her.

Shagun considers Ishita responsible for all the problems in her life and is planning to take revenge on her. Now that she has arrived at the Bhalla house, she uses Adi to create problem between Raman and Ishita. Shagun now wants Raman and Ruhi back since Ashok has thrown her out of his life. She now plans to get Ishita out of Raman's life so that she can get back her place in the house.
