Thanks Anku - exactly these two have so much in common, but the thing that makes their bond, this marriage so essential to them is that in each other they have found acceptance. Sure she has changed his ways, but he too has had an influence on her as she herself admitted. Like how she was thinking about donning a western outfit even if she wasnt exactly sure of wearing it,(when are women ever in this case...we need hours to decide on our outfits anyways sometimes 😆) but the Ishita who was taken aback at finding a western outfit as her gift was today an Ishita, who admitted she bought this dress with a lot of enthusiasm, even if she doesnt know if she should wear it now.
These two have been considered rejects, branded as unwanted by their former partners...but in knowing each other, in accepting each other and falling in love with each other they have healed.
To have that validation time and again though is always heartening, who doesnt want to feel wanted.
When she came down from that flight of stairs she saw her family quarreling over who gets to take her with them for the night, but what she felt was one thing - that amidst them is the man she has lost her heart too, the man who loves her and he is fighting over the right, the chance to be with her; stating it with authority as how he holds the first and most rights over her, thus he should be the one she accompany for the night.
How could in the face of this acceptance, this love and this feeling of being wanted by her husband could she not reciprocate and so she did, she stated softly and firmly how she chooses him above everyone else and in that one moment Raman once again had the affirmation he is loved and wanted by his wife, as he did at the airport...bringing on his face that smile, that look of pride and that absolute smitten glow.
From being just Ruhi' papa today he stood as being the most important man in his wife' life, the woman he is madly in love with. 😳
