Happy Anniversary to IshRaRu ki Ye Hai Mohabbatein!

It has been a year today, since Raman, Ishita and Ruhi, along with their whole family (though weirdly typical) walked into our lives. Seems like just yesterday, when we watched the very first promo of YHM, where Ruhi coughs and when Ishita enquires that if Ruhi had an ice -cream? Ruhi innocently blames it to Raman saying Papa ne khilayi' " "How cute!" - This is exactly what everyone would've said after seeing that 30 seconds, attention gripping promo and since then, it's no turning back for this beautiful show.

Star Plus's very popular show, Ye Hai Mohabbatein, a Balaji Telefilms's production, completed a successful year of entertaining the audiences.

Having immensely talented people on the board in their respective fields, the show had gained attention even before it's launch. Ekta Kapoor as the Producer, Sonali Jaffar as the writer, Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel as leads, Ye Hai Mohabbatein rose expectations of the audiences quite high. And we must say, the show did more than what expected. Proof? The TRP figures and the numerous awards in this one year journey.

Grabbing it's well deserved and earned position of number 2 in the TRP chart, with it's unique and gripping storyline, Ye Hai Mohabbatein confirms that there's still a huge audience who love and appreciate a rational and judicious storyline more than the usual illogical daily drama and kitchen politics.

Divyanka Tripathi as Ishita Iyer has won million of hearts, around the globe, with her outstandingly brilliant performance. She has invested life into Ishita's character with such ease that Ishita and Divyanka are indistinguishable. She has molded herself perfectly into the character. Divyanka has just owned this character so beautifully that even a thought that what if Divyanka wasn't offered the character of Ishita, ruins the mood and makes every loyal viewer of the show and fans of the very beautiful and extremely talented actress, send a silent Prayer to the Almighty, thanking him that Divyanka is their Ishita.

Karan Patel, well, what can we say about him except that he is simply the best as Raman Kumar Bhalla. No one could have played the character of Raman better than him. May it be an aggressive Raman or funny Raman or romantic Raman or emotional or caring, Karan Patel is superb in all the shades. The character Raman and Karan have become synonymous to each other so much that when we think of Raman we think of Karan and vice versa. Verbalizing the celebration of conpletion of 1 year of YHM Karan says, "I think its a fantastic show and hopefully we have many many more to come with audience support. Congratulations to all the audience whosoever watching our show."

Little Ruhanika as Ruhi is the sweetheart of every YHMian. Her cute antics and her acts of innocent cupid for her Ishi Maa and Papa makes the audience fall in love with her more and more with each passing episode. There is no heart which doesn't fall in trap of her innocence whether on-screen as a character or off-screen as an actor or even audience.

Not to forget Anita Hassanandani and Sangram Singh works perfectly for the emotion of hatred for the audience. They are plot planners and a complete antagonists of the show. To fill the void left by these two main antagonists Anurag Sharma is doing his part well. Parallel characters which includes Mihika Verma, Raj Singh Arora, Sarika Dhillon, Shahnaz Rizwan, Neena Kulkarni, Kaushal Kapoor, Sumeet Sachdev, Pankaj Bhatia, Shruti Bapna, Shireen Mirza, Abhay Bhargava and Ali Goni are immaculately playing their parts. Each one deserves a round of applause.

As this beautiful title track of the show says, "Kabhi kam na hongi ye chaahatein.. Pal Pal badhe.. Ye Hai Mohabbatein!" " The audiences' love for this show will only keep increasing day by day.
