Star Plus most loved and popular series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein produced by Balaji Telefilms which completed a successful one year recently is gearing up for some major drama with Ruhi's (Ruhanika Dhawan) custody case re-opening.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will soon see the Courtroom' drama kick start in the show with the Judge who preceded over the custody case earlier reopening the case. While Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) will try to get Ruhi to stay with them just like she has always been; Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) will request the judge to hand over Ruhi's custody to her only to get back at Ishita and take away the latter's happiness.
Raman will explain what happened at the school the other day and an emotional Ishita will tell the judge that if Ruhi is sent away from them not one or two but a lot of lives will be destroyed as the young girl matters a lot to each one of them. Ultimately Ishita will also request the Judge to take a decision keeping in mind Ruhi's happiness.
The Judge will be about to give her verdict regarding Ruhi's custody when an unexpected witness enters the court who will be none other than Ashok Khanna (Sangraam Singh). Yes, in a shocking twist viewers will see Ashok take the stand and speak ill against Shagun. Ashok will tell that Shagun is not a good mother and that Ruhi shouldn't be allowed to go with Shagun. It will come as a shocker for all present in the court and in a fit of rage Shagun will be seen hurling curses at Ashok and also hitting and slapping him in the court before all.
What new game is Ashok playing and what is he after? In whose favor will the Judge pass the verdict?
