One of the most popular and most loved shows on television Yeh Hai Mohabbatein produced by Balaji Telefilms is completing one year...or rather one GLORIOUS year on 3rd December 2014.
Ishita and Raman scenes have always had a unique quality but their story would be incomplete if not for Ruhi. Ishita and Raman decide to get married for the sake of Ruhi but one can't deny the fact that Ruhi has always played the role of a CUPID' and one to perfection when it came to IshRa. One way or the other she has always managed to bring the couple closer whether they like it or not. Like Mr. Iyer assures his wife Iss shaadi mein pyaar aayega, iss shaadi mein pyaar layegi Ruhi...aur uss bachi ki wajah se yeh shaadi bohat mazboot banegi'. We completely agree because the result is there for all to see and though there have been a lot of speculations going on and on about new entries and Raman separating from Ishita for her happiness etc like we mentioned earlier in one of our previous articles be assured that as long as Ruhi is the one binding Ishita and Raman there is no way their relationship would falter.
Here are the top 15 moments in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein over the last one year where Ruhi plays cupid to Ishita and Raman.
Ishita brings Ruhi to their housing colony so that she could meet her dadi, unknown to Ishita present at the Lohri function taking place in the society was the Tandon Family before whom Ishita and Raman had acted as a happy couple. Ishita who had initially refused to be a part of the Lohri ritual because she believed it was wrong to take their pati-patni' act to a serious level, is left with no option but to join Raman when Ruhi asks her to do so. Ruhi plays the perfect cupid here because there was two pair of eyes who witnessed the moment and believed that it was some sign from a higher power.
After the custody case when Ruhi returns back home she brings roses to gift all her loved one. When Ishita and Raman's turn comes the little girl is left in a state of dilemma because she does not know who to give the last rose to. She chooses Raman, but does not give him much time to gloat about it and sweetly asks him to give the rose to Ishita. At that point in their life having a decent conversation with each other was a hard task for the two and here Ruhi makes her parents celebrate Valentine's day in her own cute way.
We love Ruhi for this scene...well we love her otherwise too but this was a master stroke. Ishita was feeding Ruhi with her hand when Ruhi makes an innocent request to feed her papa as well. Though Raman and Ishita are highly uncomfortable with the request made by Ruhi and try to bail out Ruhi's adamant stand that even she wouldn't eat leaves Ishita with no choice to feed Raman and for the latter to savor the morsel given by his new bride.
4) Gulaabi Romance
Don't mind the title because there was no romance as such but you can't ignore that it was a cute romantic moment and we have Ruhi to thank for the same. Ruhi asks Raman to help Ishita with adorning the rose in her hair and even if reluctantly Raman and Ishita agree. While Raman goes on to put the rose with its stem and leaves intact, Ishita helps him by perfecting the flower before he can put it in her hair. Moments like Raman asking Ishita how to open the hairpin, apologizing to her when it pinches and finally succeeding in his mission was a treat to the eyes all thanks to our little cupid.
First Holi after marriage is quite special. Putting color on your spouse during your first holi after marriage is also a moment that every couple look forward to but being a very unusual couple and one who got married for the sake of a third person Ishita aur Raman ke liye this was just another Holi but Ruhi made sure that the moment is one that the two will cherish when looking back in time. Raman breaks his usual norm of not playing Holi by allowing his little princess to put colors on him and then complies to Ruhi's wish and allows Ishita to put color on him and puts color on her for Ruhi's happiness.
6) Raman's first gift for Ishita
Ruhi questions Raman why he scolded Ishita for coming to the Holi party when she was the reason that Ishita attended the event in the first place. When Ruhi expresses her fears to her papa about Ishita leaving her, Raman assures Ruhi that she need not worry but Ruhi who learned that it takes a gift to manaofy women she asks Raman to do so. In a way Ruhi takes it upon herself to resolve the issue and she chooses this method at the perfect solution. Well it does the trick because Ishita laughs her heart out seeing the electronic toothbrush Raman gifts her just because she was a dentist.
Jaise TV mein log sote hai Mumma, Papa, aur Baby...' Once again Ruhi plays the perfect cupid here when she gets Ishita and Raman to sleep on either side of her on the bed unlike the usual norm where Raman sleeps on the bed and Ishita on the couch. Apart from the fact that the scene displayed Ruhi's cupid ability the scene goes on to show how much Ruhi missed family moments in the 6 years of her life, how much she longed for them and how she was finally getting them because of her papa and Ishima.
After Ishita feeds Raman in one of the earlier episodes, Ruhi makes Raman feed Ishita ice-cream in this one. She drags her papa when Ishita reaches the society hall and asks him to feed Ishita. Even Ruhi, paati (grandma) helps Ruhi here and eventually Raman feeds Ishu.
On hearing Shagun call Ishita Behenji, Ruhi wanted nothing more than to prove that her Ishima was not one. She drags Raman to go shopping with her and buys her mom a beautiful looking dress in Ishita's favorite color. Once Ruhi made made her purchase Raman could have very well walked out of the store but interestingly even Raman purchases a gorgeous looking dress for his wife in his favorite color and gifts Ishita the same. While Ishita is surprised that Raman got her a gift we would credit Ruhi for this pleasant change in Raman.
First kissy do and then moving back is an age old formula that works like a charm even today. In this scene Ruhi first prises Raman and Ishita looking amazing and then asks both to kiss her. When Ishita and Raman move forward to kiss Ruhi, she moves back creating an awkward but cute moment. Well cute isn't the exact word to be used but Ruhi's magic was certainly bearing results and Raman and Ishita were sensing changes in their relationship.
While most of the moments where Ruhi plays cupid happens naturally without even she realizing what she is doing this one is a planned move. Taking Shravan's plan into consideration Ruhi sets out to end Ishita and Raman's fight by taking them to a restaurant for a family dinner. Unknown to Ishita and Raman, Ruhi has asked her bestie to join her and help her solve the problem with she does to the T. She gets Ishita and Raman to feed each other soup, boasts to her friend about the understanding between her parents making IshRa realize the negative impact the whole accident drama was having on their relationship. Ruhi also gets Raman and Ishita to dance together and viewers get an amazing song sequence through Banjaara'.
In own little way she did what she thought would end the fight between her parents and bring them closer. Thankyou Bhagwaan ji, cutty khatam' is what Ruhi silently whispers to god when she leaves the room stealthily after getting Raman and Ishita to sleep on the same bed.
Ishita and Raman bang their head with each other when crossing paths but the duo who just had a pretty awkward and embarrassing conversation minutes before is joined by Ruhi who asks her mumma-papa to bang their head again citing that horns would appear if they did not. To please their daughter Raman makes light of the situation by asking who would want to take that risk with Ishita and asks the latter to bang her head with his while Ruhi has a good laugh.
From making faces and hesitating to feed each other in this scene you know how far Raman and Ishita have come. Ishita wasn't allowed to fast for her first karwa-chauth' so when Raman arrives back from work, the first thing he asks his badminton champ aka Ruhi is if her Ishima had food. After giving detailed account of what all Ishita had the entire day, Ruhi asks Raman to feed pakkoras to Ishita as the latter hadn't eaten anything for 3 hours. Raman catches hold of Ishita before she can scoot and feeds her garma-garam pakkora's not wanting his wife to fall ill.
She is undoubtedly the biggest binding factor in Ishita-Raman's relationship, in this scene that was aired yesterday Ruhi punishes Raman and Ishita in her sweet, innocent way and not only does she manage to infuse laughter and happiness with her cute antics after all the drama that was going around, she also gets Raman and Ishita to see what a beautiful bond they shared. Raman can think and say about parting ways with Ishita all he wants but he knows that his relationship with Ishita has reached to a point where there is no going back...the IshRa eyelock simply affirms the same.
Well these are our top 15 moments where Looks...the best of best. Which one is your favorite? Do share with us.

One of the most popular and most loved shows on television Yeh Hai Mohabbatein produced by Balaji Telefilms is completing one year...or rather one GLORIOUS year on 3rd December 2014.
Ruhi has always been the strongest and major factor connecting Ishita and Raman. Ishita and Raman game together for Ruhi and so it wouldn't be wrong to say that they are incomplete without their little princess. After top Ruhi-Ishita and Ruhi-Raman scenes today we bring you the top 20 Ishita-Ruhi-Raman scene which have always left a mark in the show and a huge smile on the viewers faces. Ruhanika Dhawan, Divyanka Tripthi and Karan Patel leaves everybody in awe with their portrayals of Ruhi, Ishita and Raman but in their scenes together the magic they create is unbeatable.
This is the first scene where Ishita-Ruhi-Raman comes together in the same frame. After leaving the Ishita's clinic, Raman struggles to calm Ruhi down who was in pain due to the lengthy dental procedure. Ishita offers her help and the trio head towards the same destination unaware of how destiny had intertwined their lives together.
They weren't a family at this point but the entire sequence screams Family'. The interaction between Ruhi-Raman and Ishita looked nothing less than a perfect family outing. The way Raman and Ishita took turns to push the car and Ruhi encouraged two of her most favorite people the scene was a perfect depiction of a modern nuclear family.
It does not get more blessed than this. By making Ruhi tie IshRa's gathbandhan they take the whole Ishita-Ruhi-Raman bond to a different level. Do alag alag dil ka ek samjhauta hai, Teesre ke khatir hua hai'...Ishita and Raman were getting married to each other for the sake of Ruhi but unknown to them it was their little princess Ruhi who was destined to bring love into their lives. The scene symbolizes how Ruhi will always be the factor keeping IshRa together and the way she tied it symbolizes how strong the relationship will grow since she was the anchor that binds them together.
Ishita-Raman getting Ruhi's custody had to be one of the most dramatic sequences between the trio. From choosing Shagun over Ishita to the twist where the judge gives verdict in Ishita and Raman's favor it couldn't get any better. Raman's tears when he gets the custody of his daughter and sees Ishita and Ruhi together, Ishita and Ruhi's happiness when the judgment is passed the scene was simple picture perfect.
After fighting tooth and nail for the custody of her daughter, Raman had started ignoring Ruhi and distancing himself from her on hearing Ashok's claims. This scene however changes all that when Ruhi gets bitten by a street dog and both Raman and Ishita rush their daughter to the hospital.
One of the most beautiful IshRa-Ruhi scene, where a mother assures her insecure child how much she is loved by bother her parents. After the restaurant drama by Aditya, Ruhi gets upset and expresses her fears to Ishima regarding IshRa's relationship. She asks if Ishita will leave Ruhi because of what her papa did when Ishita consoles Ruhi and assures her that both her papa and Ishima love their princess a lot. She also tells them that there is love in theirs aka IshRa relationship and how that love is Ruhi all of which is heard by Raman who chooses to stand at the door because he knew he had disappointed his darling daughter.
This is the first family hug or huggy in Ruhi's style. After Ishita shares hers and Raman's so called love-story with all, Ruhi comes running and asks if Raman truly loves Ishita so much, while Raman fumbles in giving a reply Ishita manages the situation by letting Ruhi know that Raman loves his daughter the most in the world. Ruhi gathers both Raman and Ishita in a group hug, the first ever and a true Kodak moment.
After the gathbandhan scene, this is another interesting and wow moment between Ishita-Ruhi-Raman. Raman and Ishita wash Ruhi's feet during the Kanjak Pooja' and when it's the young child's turn to give blessings she blesses that her parents be kept away from everything evil by the grace of the Goddess. She did not know how to say salamat' but what is more important is her innocent thought where she wanted her parents Jodi to always be safe from everything evil.
Ruhi had gone to get a new hairdo, one that matches Priyanka Chopra and when she returns back Raman acts confused and surprised as to who was standing before him Ruhi ya Priyanka Chopra. When Ishita join in and Raman assures that Ruhi was looking like PC, the little girls face lights up and that leaves a huge smile on the faces of her parents.
Raman had given up on playing Holi but he changes his attitude and outlook towards the festival for the sake of his daughter. In this scene Raman asks Ruhi to put the Holi Teeka' and since Ruhi did not know how it was done, Ishita joins in thus making it a family moment and one that we love.
Yeh hai aapka gift Papa'. It was mother's day and Ruhi hadn't got any gift for her Ishima yet she managed to give her mother the most priceless gift ever. Ruhi gifts Raman to Ishita and tells that since there was no money in her piggy bank to buy a gift, she gifted her Papa. However the interesting part of the scene is when Raman tells Ruhi that they'll purchase another gift for Ishita, to which Ruhi very innocently replies Kisi aur se gift nahi lete...aur aap toh mere ho na?" which showcases how even if Raman and Ishita got married for Ruhi, she was chosen to complete Raman and Ishita's incomplete lives.
After a tired day all you want to do is come home to your family and this moment between Ishita-Ruhi-Raman showcases just that. The whole Mrs. Iyer's accident' drama had come to an end and after the gruesome and tiring events during which both Ishita and Raman were forced to keep Ruhi aside, not wanting her to be affected by all that was going on, the duo come back and shower all their love on the apple of their eye.
Ruhi was expectantly looking forward to celebrating Rakshabandhan with her elder brother. She was all excited about it and when Raman announces that Adi is not coming. Ruhi becomes upset and tears start to glisten in her eyes but the hurt is soon replaced by hope when Ishita manages the situation and Raman joins in by telling Ruhi that Adi had asked Ruhi to go to his place which immediately brightens up Ruhi and makes her day.
It doesn't get any cuter than this...Raman had challenged Ishita to make the perfect Punjabi Palak Paneer' and unknown to him she had managed to achieve this feat. A cute family moment at the dining table where Ishita and Ruhi pull Raman's leg by allowing him to praise the palak paneer and go on and on about it to the point where he chokes on hearing that Ishita had made his favorite dish was truly a fun family moment.
The way this scene is conceptualized and executed is what makes it a unique moment between Ishita-Ruhi-Raman. Raman lovingly looking at two of the most important ladies in his life to Ruhi expressing her genuine fears regarding Ishita keeping fast and Ishita and Raman both resolving the little child's worries makes this a special moment.
I for Intelligent, S for Smart...Raman had messed up big time and was ready to do anything to make it up to his daughter and to some extent his wife. Raman cracks up both Ruhi and Ishita in this scene when he goes on to describe the name ISHITA in the most unexpected manner considering that Raman and Ishita were always at loggerhead.
Ruhi comes running to IshRa's room to inform about the PTA meet at her school but on seeing Ishita and Raman engrossed, she figures out that they were tensed regarding Mihir-Mihika marriage. Not wanting to get into all that Raman changes the topic and changes it into a light-hearted moment in which Ishita joins immediately. Ishita and Raman joke about breaking and joining teeth's and bring a smile on the face of little Ru.
The kids at Ruhi's school had started mocking her because of all the twisted relationships around her. She had not openly discussed about the same with her parents yet but in this scene Ruhi expresses her worries and Ishita and Raman help their daughter deal with the matter. Ruhi is told how much she is loved, how special she is and also to show tenga' to all those kids if they were trouble her with such talks.
Shagun wanted Ruhi to be a part of all the wedding functions and Ishita had convinced her daughter to agree for the same. Everything was going good until Shagun raises her voice and hand on Ruhi because of a mistake done unknowingly. Both Ishita and Raman give Shagun an earful for even attempting to make such a move on their daughter. From initially having nobody to fight for her to this point the scene goes on to depict how strong their bond has become.
IshRa reach Shagun's place to drop Ruhi as the former wanted to spend time with her daughter before her big day. At a glance the scene at the door when Ruhi comes to see off her parent is not something that is out of the box but that is what makes it beautiful. YHM has always been about simple things treated with an extraordinary conviction and the same applies here. Ruhi was not very keen on staying with Shagun but since she promised to be a part of everything related to Shagun's wedding she agrees to spend the night with her biological mother but she wanted her papa and Ishima to stay with her a little longer because she was more comfortable when with them. She kisses Raman and Ishita goodnight and asks them to reach early the next day not wanting to be left out.
