First of all , huge shout out and congrats to all those who sent gifts for Karan Patel and made him feel special. Because of you all, we got to see that heartwarming smile of Karan! đ
And now coming to me, I don't know which cloud I am right now onđł, knowing that my gifts reached my favouritest actor, the one and only Karan Patelâď¸, and that he liked them!!.đł
The moment he said my nameâşď¸ in the video, my heart stopped beating for a few seconds!! I have not stopped smiling since the video has been up !đ and I don't think I am ever going to get over this feeling!đł
As this is the 1st such memorable experience for me, I really want to thank India Forums who made this happen. Special mention to Ruchika Singh and Neha Sawant from I-F team who do this amazing work of connecting us fans with our favourite stars and pass on our love and wishes to them in form of our letters/cards/gifts.. They ensured that my gifts reached Karan Patel on time. A big thank you to Nikki (who I bothered so much over PMs to get me a confirmation that my gifts did reach I-F and Karan). And another thank you to my friend Hemal who is not on this forum but who connected with me and we bonded over our love for Karan Patel. She kept me calm and positive till the gifts reached Karan and was the 1st one to tell me about the gift segment video news. Only god knows how freaking nervous I was about this whole thing ! 𤪠-

Normally, I don't make any personal posts on this forum. I am too lazy đł to write anything and neither am I good with words! I am just happy sharing pics/articles/videos/interviews that I come across whenever I can (Some of you already know that) ! That's all I manage to do!
But, today I decided that I will make this post as this is the only forum I have been most active on and have shared some beautiful moments of YHM, met some great people who share the common love for this show and actors; and have made it a great experience for me. So, I HAD to do this post to share this one memorable and out of the world experience (first of a kind for me)with you all- An experience which I am going to cherish life long!đ - my gifts to Karan Patel (who I LOVE unconditionally) & he liking them!
It is very common that a lot of people send cards/gifts to their fav actors/celebrities. At first I thought it was a crazy idea. Then realized my love and admiration for Karan is more than anything else and sending gifts was my only way of expressing my love and admiration for him who has been the reason for my smile so many times. For me, this is the 1st time ever that I sent anything to any actor and to be honest was very nervous/tensed and anxious about it. It was a big deal for me as I have never done that earlier. And knowing Karan, he comes across as a private, quite moody and unpredictable person and I din't know how he would react or take it.
I have liked Karan as Robbie since Kasturi days, but after watching him in YHM after so many years, he has got me completely bowled over as an actor and as a person! I dint even realize when I started admiring, adoring and loving him for what he is. (both onscreen and offscreen) He has come a long way as an actor and as a person from what I knew and have seen of him earlier and I now truly really love him and appreciate him and his work . Undoubtedly, he is the best on Indian TV when it comes to acting. But Karan as a person - I really don't know what is it exactly about him that one just falls for him -there is surely something that this guy does, he connects with your heart and soul and you just end up hopelessly falling in love with him without even realizing. And once you know you love him, you are always wishing the best for him - dilse!đ .
Maybe it his passion for what he does, his commitment to his work, his personality or his happy go lucky nature or the fun/cheer he brings around him, his openness/honesty. Dont know what exactly, but there is surely something special about him that one feels like loving him, protecting him, praying and wishing the best for him! đ
With Karan I have felt some unknown connection, something that maybe cant be explained in words. He he has been the reason for me to smile so many times since I started watching YHM. I may be mixing up Raman and Karan here (but that thin line is far long gone for me). I love Raman and Karan both equally. If Karan was not playing Raman, I may not have loved Raman at all. There is not much difference between them anyways. The character and the real person are very much alike for me. Both of them are adorable, admirable and absolutely worth falling in love with! So, I thought of sending him something on one of his special days - his b'day, a small token of appreciation and love for him in the form of cards and gifts which he truly deserves. All that I ever wanted to do was to make him feel little special on his birthday and be a small reason to bring that heartwarming smile on his face (which he always manages to do for me and lot of others here). And seeing him smile because of me/ my gifts, is truly one of the happiest moments for me!
Honestly, I have never felt the same for any other actor in my so many years of watching TV and films and neither has anyone impressed me so much that I could feel any kind of emotional connect with them or even get a thought of doing anything special for them.
I have to thank Karan Patel for giving those unnumerable happy moments to me and for so many of us here. He is a real sweetheart. Even though he has got such a packed schedule, he gave some time off for his fans gifts. His heartfelt genuineness in appreciating the gifts, reading each note patiently (and putting them carefully back!), even opening the gifts with such care and a happy child like feeling - everything just made the whole gifting experience worthwhile!
I actually dint expect that from Karan (or for that matter any guy). You know, how guys are impatientđ and have this lets get it done with feeling/attitude. But with Karan there was no pretence at all, he really sincerely appreciated the love and adulation he gets from his fans and you can just feel that in his tone, see it in the way he opened the gifts with patience, the way he read out the notes, the way he thanked, the way he appreciated everything. In fact, he even said he is going to use those gifts. I was touched! A gentleman to the core! đ He truly is someone who is what you see is what you get! I can only say I am so glad and proud that I love him from the heart! â¤ď¸ When it comes to Karan, its all heart. Mind toh does not even work!đł
