Do you remember, one fine day while sitting at my desk you had sketched a plant on my cigarette box. Come take a look, that plant is now bearing a flower.

This is extremely beautiful. (unlike what I will write, 1 am here, I don't know how to English anymore). There is something about ishRa's love that I find beautiful : they shared their life for 10 months before realizing their love. It really mimics the growth of a flower. They put care and efforts into their relationship, without expecting anything, and one day they turned around and realized they were in love. They knew that it'd come (especially for these past 2 months) but they were still surprised when it happened. It's like those buds that go from nothing to full opened flowers overnight. In the morning when you see it, you're surprised in a good way : "here you are. When did you appear? You're beautiful". That's what I think of, when I think of IshRa.

Ye Tera Ghar Ye Mera Ghar Kisi Ko Dekhna Ho Gar
To Pehle Aake Maang Le Meri Nazar Teri Nazar

Na Baadlon Ke Chhaon Mein Na Chandni Ke Gaaon Mein
Na Phool Jaise Raaste Bane Hain Iske Vaaste
Magar Ye Ghar Ajeeb Hai Zameen Ke Kareeb Hai
Ye Eent-Pattharon Ka Ghar Hamaari Hasraton Ka Ghar
Ye Tera Ghar...

Once again, this is beautiful. It reminds me of the lyrics "we found love in a hopeless place". IshRa came and met in this broken house, made of mistakes, torn hearts, sorrowful pasts and hopeless future, and they found solace into each other. They gave each other the strength to build something all over again and to accept the past (the broken house) they were living with. Their house became a home and just like that it was beautiful and perfect in their eyes. It's perfect while being imperfect. Their relationship has flaws and where an outsider like Mani would only focus on the flaws, IshRa, standing by each other's side, focus on the good sides of their relationship because it over-weighs the rest. They are not being delusional or blinded in love, they're just trying to make it work and that means accepting the challenges that came with their relationship.

Yahan Mahak Wafaaon Ki Mohabbaton Ka Rang Hai
Ye Ghar Tumhara Khwaab Hai Ye Ghar Meri Umang Hai
Na Aarzoo Pe Qaid Hai Na Hausle Pe Jung Hai
Hamaare Hauslon Ka Ghar Hamaari Himmaton Ka Ghar
Ye Tera Ghar...

What i noticed is that , somehow, Mani is the one being delusional, expecting his friend's relationship to be perfect. He thinks that if their relationship looks perfect from where he stands (ie the outside), then it'll be worthy for Ishu to stay in this, but he doesn't understand that rishteys are way more complicated than that, and appearances can be misleading. I love that Shagun-Ashok seem to have the perfect relationship from outside (remember the scene where ashok proposes to shagun in front of the crowd) but they are in fact rotten while IshRa who keep bickering and struggling in their relationships on various levels, are deeply in love and happy with each other.

friday night date with BAE ! 🤗❤️

edit : i didn't put it first because it's SO OBVIOUS to me that i don't even think of putting it, but since you're not in my head (that's a shame!) i'll write it down : this post was perfect and beautiful and nomnom and i love you and you're a poet.

edit 2 : so yeah, i just completely forgot to even mention the beautiful banner-edit of your post even though i stared at it for several minutes. I love it ! It makes me happy inside. And i also loved the title of the post because once i'm done with your post, i look at the title and it makes so much sense i want to applaud (read : it makes so much sense that i actually clap at my laptop)

Totally butting in because:

1) I can.

2) I like to stalk you both.

3) Rajj, this was beautifully written. Can just say "ditto" to all of the above?

4) The mention of "We found love in a hopeless place". As I've said before, you own a piece of my heart (really one-third cause you have to share with Dev & RKB).

5) Most importantly: Doc, the first thing I noticed when I opened this thread the other day was the beautiful edit at the top...and then I forgot to comment on it altogether. That edit is warm sunshine on a bitterly cold day (like today). It's lovely...and makes my heart smile. 😳

Exactly BAE, what you wrote here is a perfect representation of their relationship, so unique, so dysfunctional yet endearing and beautiful 😊

You know BAE I was gonna use the song 'we found love in a hopeless place' but ended up going with this one for my immense love for Jagjit Singh ❤️, Mani is an outsider and I loved how Ishita explained to him that a friend is a friend and a husband is a husband, and that she will not tolerate any disrespect towards her husband 👏

Love is not be seen but felt! It doesn't matter if the world doesn't see love between these two so long as they feel it amongst them and within them. So aptly put, all that show off between Ashok and Shagun was to portray love that didn't exist whereas between these two there is such abundance of love that there isn't any need to project it, it just needs to be felt!

friday night date with BAE ! 🤗❤️ I am in love with our Friday night dates!

Like puttar said, 'once you are in love, only your heart works all other organs stop working'...BAE in I am in love with you so brain has stopped functioning so can't be in your head because my heart skips for you ❤️...seriously a 'poet'...you are crazy! 😳

I am new at playing with pictures so I never know how they turn out, I just loved that moment between the 3 so I figured I will let the moment do the magic and not so much my edit 😳 and the title thanks BAE...I never know what to title my post so I just go with whatever comes to my mind! You are so swit! Stop it with the praise! 😳

Take your time! No hurry and no compulsion, I just PM because I don't know who asked for a PM and who didn't and then I get confused further 😆

I'll take a PM henceforth. It will make it easier to stalk you. Usually I go rummaging thru the pages of the forum looking for you, Gan, and Rajji...PMs are much more efficient. 😆

2) I like to stalk you both. I like to stalk you ladies back, so this is a win win!

3) Rajj, this was beautifully written. Can just say "ditto" to all of the above? I concur! And that too doing this at 1 AM! It's commendable 😊

4) The mention of "We found love in a hopeless place". As I've said before, you own a piece of my heart (really one-third cause you have to share with Dev & RKB). I heart that song and I heart you both! ❤️

I am always scared to play around with pictures because I never know what's good or what isn't but when I was writing this post, this particular scene of their family just came to mind and I decided i'll let this moment tell the story, so thank you for the compliment, it's more the moment than my edit that makes you all warm 😃

❤️
