Do you remember, one fine day while sitting at my desk you had sketched a plant on my cigarette box. Come take a look, that plant is now bearing a flower.
This is extremely beautiful. (unlike what I will write, 1 am here, I don't know how to English anymore). There is something about ishRa's love that I find beautiful : they shared their life for 10 months before realizing their love. It really mimics the growth of a flower. They put care and efforts into their relationship, without expecting anything, and one day they turned around and realized they were in love. They knew that it'd come (especially for these past 2 months) but they were still surprised when it happened. It's like those buds that go from nothing to full opened flowers overnight. In the morning when you see it, you're surprised in a good way : "here you are. When did you appear? You're beautiful". That's what I think of, when I think of IshRa.
Ye Tera Ghar Ye Mera Ghar Kisi Ko Dekhna Ho Gar
To Pehle Aake Maang Le Meri Nazar Teri Nazar
Na Baadlon Ke Chhaon Mein Na Chandni Ke Gaaon Mein
Na Phool Jaise Raaste Bane Hain Iske Vaaste
Magar Ye Ghar Ajeeb Hai Zameen Ke Kareeb Hai
Ye Eent-Pattharon Ka Ghar Hamaari Hasraton Ka Ghar
Ye Tera Ghar...
Once again, this is beautiful. It reminds me of the lyrics "we found love in a hopeless place". IshRa came and met in this broken house, made of mistakes, torn hearts, sorrowful pasts and hopeless future, and they found solace into each other. They gave each other the strength to build something all over again and to accept the past (the broken house) they were living with. Their house became a home and just like that it was beautiful and perfect in their eyes. It's perfect while being imperfect. Their relationship has flaws and where an outsider like Mani would only focus on the flaws, IshRa, standing by each other's side, focus on the good sides of their relationship because it over-weighs the rest. They are not being delusional or blinded in love, they're just trying to make it work and that means accepting the challenges that came with their relationship.
Yahan Mahak Wafaaon Ki Mohabbaton Ka Rang Hai
Ye Ghar Tumhara Khwaab Hai Ye Ghar Meri Umang Hai
Na Aarzoo Pe Qaid Hai Na Hausle Pe Jung Hai
Hamaare Hauslon Ka Ghar Hamaari Himmaton Ka Ghar
Ye Tera Ghar...
What i noticed is that , somehow, Mani is the one being delusional, expecting his friend's relationship to be perfect. He thinks that if their relationship looks perfect from where he stands (ie the outside), then it'll be worthy for Ishu to stay in this, but he doesn't understand that rishteys are way more complicated than that, and appearances can be misleading. I love that Shagun-Ashok seem to have the perfect relationship from outside (remember the scene where ashok proposes to shagun in front of the crowd) but they are in fact rotten while IshRa who keep bickering and struggling in their relationships on various levels, are deeply in love and happy with each other.
friday night date with BAE ! 🤗❤️
edit : i didn't put it first because it's SO OBVIOUS to me that i don't even think of putting it, but since you're not in my head (that's a shame!) i'll write it down : this post was perfect and beautiful and nomnom and i love you and you're a poet.
edit 2 : so yeah, i just completely forgot to even mention the beautiful banner-edit of your post even though i stared at it for several minutes. I love it ! It makes me happy inside. And i also loved the title of the post because once i'm done with your post, i look at the title and it makes so much sense i want to applaud (read : it makes so much sense that i actually clap at my laptop)
