Soulmates are people who bring out the best in you. They are not perfect, but perfect for you. -AnonThere is no other word to better describe Ishita and Raman. Perfect example of soulmates. They can understand each other without saying a word. They love each other without any expectation. They can only think the best for and of the other. They know the other's faults, and they help each other to overcome it; not because they want the other to be perfect, but because they dont want a third person to point fingers at the imperfection. So even if they are beautiful on their own, together their beauty is enhanced multifold. They always stand up for each other, shielding the other from pain, even if they get hurt by the action.Sharing responsibilities, joy, pain, tensions all are a part of this perfect partnership..Respect, care, trust, understanding, faith and reliability only makes it stronger.Love seals this partnership for eternity. They may not have married for each other, and have had issues. But the reason their love Is stronger is because they never gave up on the other. Fighting every challenge, every struggle together only cementing the foundation and making it stronger.Marriage is not a noun. Its a verb.It isnt something you get. Its something you do.It's the way you love your partner everday -Barbara De Angelis

Deirdre-Elizabeth Parker, The Fugitive's DoctorSo perfect for today! More later!Edit:G I loveeed the collage, you know puttar in tears ends up my melting my insides, so I kept on staring at your collage all day long 😆 and the write up is brilliant, you aren't ever allowed to say that you aren't 'good' with words. This post of yours rests the case, I win, argument over! 😃G like you I am a moments person but today's episode was a series of beautiful moments weaved together by an outstanding cast of actors. Today I witnessed an emergence of the wife Ishita, she is right amount Ishita Bhalla with a sprinkle of Ishita Iyer in her. They way she conveyed the importance of Raman in her life to her friend without demeaning their friendship is what this new wife Ishita is all about. When she sees him standing broken at the edge of their room, she lures him in with mundane talks of domestic duties, she chides him for doing things at the last minute and then yelling at the help, she behaves like his wife to make him feel at ease and when she sees worry still occupying him she spells it out for him, 'I am not weak because my husband is with me'. Simple with that statement she told him, that she needs him, he is her strength and that together they can weather any storm.I love puttar so much and my heart breaks to see my man boy struggle 😭 but he is in good hands, his guilt will vanish in due time. I honestly haven't processed his guilt yet so I do not have much to say about that right now. I feel guilt is very necessary emotion but more on this later perhaps in the upcoming episodes. 😊Can't end without a song: Close your eyes by Michael BubleClose your eyes
Let me tell you all the reasons why
Think you're one of a kind.
Here's to you
The one that always pulls us through
Always do what you gotta do
You're one of a kind
Thank God you're mine.
You're an angel dressed in armor
You're the fair in every fight
You're my life and my safe harbor
Where the sun sets every night
And if my love is blind
I don't want to see the light.
It's your beauty that betrays you
Your smile gives you away.
Cause you're made of strength and mercy
And my soul is yours to save
I know this much is true
When my world was dark and blue
I know the only one who rescued me was you

So taking shortcut with responses today... Your quotes and songs/ poems never have failed. Good job darling! And thank you for your lovely comments about my post.. ( can you feel my civil behaviour ? )
::Updated::
Gan, The collage. Moments, captured perfectly - the tears of pain and guilt in his eyes, the care and concern in hers.
The quote could not be more perfect.
This week has been incredibly beautiful, poignant. My heart has been heavy all along.
As you said, it wasn't one moment today - the entire episode was him and her...contemplating them.
Despite the fact that she was contemplating the rest of their lives together while he was contemplating the rest of their lives apart, their thoughts stemmed from the same place - their immense love for their spouse.
Your words were simply beautiful today, Gan. I'm deeply touched by your take on the episode.

Kismat se tum, humko mile ho
Kaise chodenge, ye haath, hum na chodenge.
Tukde dil ke, hum tum milke

"People always fall in love with the most perfect aspects of each other's personalities. Who wouldn't? Anybody can love the most wonderful parts of another person. But that's not the clever trick. The really clever trick is this: Can you accept the flaws? Can you look at your partner's faults honestly and say, I can work around that. I can make something out of it.'?"
- Elizabeth Gilbert"A good marriage is where both people feel like they're getting the better end of the deal."
- Ann Lamott***
Today was one of those episodes that I know my words can never do justice to. So I won't try.
I'm just going to post a song, which I think, says it all.[It's like this song was written for them.]

You & Me by You+Me
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNnBcCk7eDAYou and me were always with each other
Before we knew the other was ever there
You and me we belong together
Just like a breath needs the air
I told you if you called I would come runnin'
Across the highs the lows and the in between
You and me we've got two minds that think as one
And our hearts march to the same beat
They say everything it happens for a reason
You can be flawed enough but perfect for a person
Someone who will be there for you when you fall apart
Guiding your direction when you're riding through the dark,
Oh that's you and meYou and me we're searching' for the same light
Desperate for a cure to this disease
Well some days are better than others,
But I fear no thing as long as you're with me
They say everything' it happens for a reason
You can be flawed enough but perfect for a person
Someone who will be there for you when you fall apart
Guiding your direction when you're riding through the darkAnd they say, everything it happens for a reason
You can be flawed enough but perfect for a person
Someone who will be there for you when you start to fall apart,
Guiding your direction when you're riding through the darkOh that's you and me
Oh that's you and me
Oh that's you and me
That's you and me*
Just some notes:
Proud of the way Ishita handled her friend who was perhaps overstepping his boundaries today.
RKB could barely hold it together..the tears caught him off guard in the office, threatening to spill over. His voice cracked on the phone with his mom, and again later, in their bedroom when she asked him a mundane question.
His guilt is overwhelming him...but its her pain that's breaking him.
[My heart breaks for him.]Karan Patel. Seriously.
Love,
