Along with Mihika, both Raman and Ishitha reached their apartment to take things in hand. Till then not a word was shared between any of them inside the car except for the assuring eyelocks between the couple and Raman glancing at Mihika through the rear view mirror of the car. Mihir was left behind to pick up Shagun and Adi back to Mihir's place.
Adi dared not to open his mouth during all this. The juvenile age he was going through gave him a clear picture what perceived between Ashok, his mom and Mihika. He had a very hazy picture about the wedding not happening after the discussions he had overheard between the Khanna brothers the day he was leaving the Khanna mansion along with his mother for wedding preparations. Right guidance of parents are always required for a child's future esp when he/she is entering the teens. The teen period is as tricky as the name and lets children behave strangely if not guided the right way. Aditya Raman Bhalla was going through that phase in his life. Ruhi, 5 years younger to him was in a position to speak more maturely and take better decisions due to the guidance and love she received. He kept staring on his mother's face that went through a lot of emotions. It all portrayed the emotions of a vulnerable women who was dejected in life.
A flustered Mihir spoke "Shagun, open the damn eyes of yours for god sake. You have been too foolish to trust such a loafer. Myself and Mihika were aware of his intentions long back and she just wanted to bring that in front of your eyes before you become his legally wedded wife. It was not for you Shagun at least not for the kind of lady you are but whatever she did was for me. She had two reasons it was because you are Mihir Arora's sister and she never wanted me to feel lonely in spite of having a mother and sister and the second reason was Aditya. She never considered Adi to be Ashok's son anywhere. She always looked at him as Raman Bhai's son and wanted his future safe. I am sure none of this will get in to your head. Drown yourself in your foolishness but my presence is more needed somewhere else" and he stormed out of the house.
He entered the Iyer house panting and gasping for breath. He found a sobbing Mihika who was trying to be pacified by her Akka. Miku, all of us know the kind of women you are and none of this is going to change our love for you. None of us doubt you. You did not want Shagun's life to get spoilt that's it. Whatever that happened in the suite back in the hotel was a trap. You fell in to your trap unknowingly. You had planned and he had planned, he was just a step ahead of you. Whatever happens it happens for the good. Mihir took her in his arms and rubbed her back soothingly till she could calm down. All others moved out giving the much needed space to the couple. None of it was your fault Mihika. I trust you and I do not doubt you not even an inch of your thoughts. We all know the kind of a guy Ashok is, you could have let us know earlier we could have pulled this off together. She could not utter a word after seeing the immovable faith he had on her and continued remaining silent.
Shagun was staring at her face in the mirror. She was still not ready to believe anyone other than Ashok. She changed off her wedding lehenga and sat by herself on the bed. Adi entered her room and kept a hand on her shoulder. Her most vulnerable self comes alive only for and towards Aditya her son. It was one such day. She held on to him and cried her heart out. He did not worry about the wedding being called off for the time being but his anger towards his step mom had reached new heights. He hated his dad more. His dad had taken more care of his wife and her sister. He failed to look at him again. The feeling of getting neglected by his dad made him hate his dad more. All he wanted was his mother's happiness and his brain was spoiled enough already. He did not mind that happiness at the cost of anyone's happiness. All that mattered to him was his Mother's joy. He went out of the room to fetch a glass of water for her.
She again thought about Mihika's words Adi needs a mother and father. Money is not the right form of security. A child requires the right guidance for a secure future. Raman Jiju will fulfill his respnsibility. At the same time Adi enters with water. She made up her mind and looked at a worried Adi
"Adi beta, I wanted a father for you, our family, our small family but I could not give you that. It will take sometime for your mama and Ashok dad to settle down things. I cannot let your future get spoil in all this. May be I can ask your Raman dad to take care of you till then. No mom, not that man ever. I am happy with you. whatever it is let us face together but not with that man's help. He hates us mom. Even today after knowing all this he stuck up to his new wife. That's all he is capable of. Your mistaking him beta he loves you more than anyone in this world. He will do anything for you. That behenji wife of his will not have a word on this and I will see to it. But mom even if I listen to you, I cannot be with him and his stupid family alone. Who said beta you are alone, I am not going to leave you alone. I am with you everywhere. I do not like the whole idea but anything for you mom.
