She actually planned to reopen case once she gets settled,

hmm so her character is consistent in d book..yahan ekta/cvs ne apna hi dimaag lagaya hai 😆

I don't think Shagun is inconsistent. She is more attached to Adi because he's always been a momma's boy for her. As for Ruhi, well she's a symbol of something that happened against her will. Shagun didn't want Ruhi but was forced to give birth to her. Ruhi was the reason that Shagun couldn't leave Raman for Ashok earlier than she did. Ruhi is a symbol of the failed relationship that Shagun had already given up on but was forced to stay in against her will.
As much as Shagun has no connection to Ruhi, she has every bit of a connection to Adi. Yes Shagun is self-centered, so quite often she doesn't give time to her son. But she is concerned for him and has motherly affection for him. She can't bear the thought of Adi going away from her which is why she gave an ultimatum to Ashok to officially adopt Adi and secure his future. She is willing to "sacrifice" her relationship with Ashok to secure her child's future. Granted that this action of her's also has other motivations, but just from the perspective of a mother, Shagun has shown glimpses of motherly emotions and affection. Her reaction to Adi today was justified; an 11 year old kid calling child services to trap his stepmom in a false case is totally out of line (especially after he just got out of such a huge legal situation of the accident). Shagun realizes (under dire circumstances) that Adi is not turning out to be a good kid, so in this situation it is consistent for a mother (even a bad one) to criticize and put her kid back into line.

Shagun definitely has multiple shades to her, but this analysis is strictly from a mother's view.

I think Shagun always had an attachment with Adi. She loves Adi and pampers him a lot but when it comes to giving him moral values she has failed big time.
Ruhi - i think SHagun never wanted Ruhi in the first place as she was more interested in being with Ashok and enjoying the materialistic things. She abandoned her maybe also thinking that Ashok might not like it. Coz she was busy being Ashok's arm candy than being a mother then as a child of 6 months demands more attention from its mother and she wanted to give all that attention to ASHOK.

She is a grey character not morally upright like say Ishita. But her Evil is overpowering over her goodness.

i agree, n that explains a lot 😊.. but atleast dey shud show some scenes where her goodness comes out n she expresses her guilt for leaving ruhi or atleast shows some genuine feelings for her second child..

Haha yes! Shagun is kind of inconsistent, but then that's what you call a grey character. And unfortunately, there are women like her in the real world! At least, her behavior is believable. Had she been too evil to even notice Ishita's goodness or Aadi's unacceptable behavior, then I would give her character a big zero. She would then make for that typical eyebrow-twitching, conniving villain of any daily soap for that matter 😆 And for once, Shagun ji decided to give things a thought! She actually PONDERED over the possibility of Ishita hurting Aadi. Now that's called using basic intellect 😉

Apparently Ashok came to Shagun's life after Ruhi was born isnt it? I agree wid everyhing u say abt her relationship wid adi. But i just feel if she shows some signs of goodness, she shud show show some signs of affection for ruhi too..afterall ruhi is her own child..

Nope its not required IMO coz she has never really loved Ruhi in a motherly way, even when Ashok said that u fight for Ruhi's custody she was like I don't care about that lets just get married, Ashok said I will marry u once we get Ruhi's custody 😳

She loves her children in her own way, like when Ruhi was hospitalized (Cough syrup incident) and Ishita came to her saying that she is hospitalized and Shagun needs to sign papers for consent. Shogun wanted to go but Ashok didn't let her go as there was some party going at their place.

Shagun loves her children but likes to use them too for her own benefit, like when she uses Adi as an excuse or Ruhi during save girl child campaign.

hmm..but she never went to meet ruhi after d cough incident nor enquired abt her later..
u can say she acts really blindly when it comes to Ashok/ money. She apparently uses her brain only outside of Ashok's influence..

Lol Peace maybe or she uses her brain only for Dresses, spa appointments etc 🤣
No matter what I love this woman 😆 It takes real guts to act overly selfish and say it to the world that I don't give a damn.

What she did with Ruhi was worse than bad I completely agree to it, but still I really like SHagun as a vamp. 😳
