The quote was heavier today. Perfect choice. The biggest distance between them is the communication.

He sensed her nervousness, and offers to help her, thinking it will ease her fear little bit.

He asks her if he trusts her, and she does not hesitate to reply, and complies.

She sees him looking at her questioningly, and requests him not to judge her. And when he realises what she thought, and what happened, he sits down asking her to sleep.

The whole act was actually funny, but if you look at the depth, it meant he wanted to see her reaction.

He really wanted to know what she thinks, and feels. But since they never can voice their feelings, he choses the act, and monitors hers. If only he could ask her without fearing a negative answer.

Beautiful significance there. 😳

Lovely post Gan. I look forward to your post every night. Lucky me to be able to comment here :)

Gan... For me your quote and write up took the cake today..! 😳😳 I couldn't have put it in better words...! 😛
I was very curious how the post Bala-Raman convo would play out... and it left me smitten by puttar all over again... ☺️😳 The cutest part of today's episode was do bacchon ka baap was hesitating to make a move and as you said asking advice from another person...! 😆 Puttar in that conversation with Bala said Ishita ke liye kuch special karna chahtha hoon... I hope its a upcoming scene!! 😳 As doc said in her sermon (😃).. these 2 dating after wedding would be something unique to watch.. in typical RKB-JKR style!😳

"to bare yourself physically you need to bare your soul first.

The guy, who in his inebriated state wanted to claim his marital rights, to 'own his wife' is ready to wait till she's ready. If this is not redemption, then what is?What a guy!"- Wonderfully put... 😛😛

NOTES: (You didn't have them, but I couldn't help it 😃)
  • Bhallas and Iyers dancing at Shagun's sangeet is plain Theatre of the absurd... Mihir Mihika Raman Ishita convincing everyone to dance.. any thought on how Shagun darling is going to treat them...Instead get her mother dude.. she is one person missing in this wedding which had united the whole star cast!
  • Pleej to note Student se confiscate kiya hua cheez Bala jiju apne pocket mein leke ghoomte hain...😆
  • Ishita's expression on seeing the condom packet - Bhooot! (Thnx to the lighting in that scene)😆 And Biwi's tissue tactics made me say Kucch Bhi..! LOL
  • As puttar stayed up at night cursing his luck.. I so wanted to tell him.. it was just not his day.. the hump was (thankfully) missing today... 😉

beautiful collage it showcase 2 kinds of embarrassments ! First the weird kind with the condom fiasco but then they both blush and get shy thinking of the bigger picture (physical intimacy)

Physical intimacy between a couple is the ultimate step in a relationship. More importantly in one where the whole premise of the marriage started as a compromise to keep a child's custody. But to bare yourself physically you need to bare your soul first.

In the last few weeks Raman and Ishita have had a lot of progress in their understanding of each other. They have started showing their feelings for each other. For a couple who had not yet shared a bed, to take their relationship to the next level...they needed to open up more, communication wise.

Raman is the experienced one when it comes to physical intimacy and he took advice from another married guy..so for him reaching out for a packet of condom was the next step.😆 But when he entered the room and saw Ishita's hesitation and predicament...he understood her. This is all new territory for her...and it needs time to develop their comfort level and for her to feel comfortable enough for the next step. So he decides to wait and show her his love in other ways first.

Raman just melted my heart today. He's a unique man...truly attuned to his wife in all aspects. Respecting a woman's boundary takes a gentleman and requires a strength in character. The guy, who in his inebriated state wanted to claim his marital rights, to 'own his wife' is ready to wait till she's ready. If this is not redemption, then what is?
What a guy!

This is why I love YHM...the whole episode was lighthearted moments about a guy's dilemma with a packet of condom...but this last scene just dealt with the inner working of the man that he is.

You just poured my heart out...
tis is wat i had in my thots aftr watching today's epi... 👏👏
A Man gains his respect frm a woman's pov, in tis way nly... especially frm his gf/wife...

Lovely collage and quote. I don't know how you guys get a shot of that exact momment that makes you go ... great job!

Very thoughtful post as well, i did not think about this aspect of the scene. very nicely put!👏

There was another post earlier saying something along the lines of how deciding to take the physical connection step over before the emotional step was such a 'man' move. It made me think and i thought i would copy/ past my response in this post to hear what you all think.

Raman is man...and WHAT A MAN!😉

His idea to jump straight to the physical relationship before confession and wooing, i think it is understandable when you look at where he is mentally right now.

Despite being a super successful business man and father he has been severely burned by love and has mistrusted it and fought back against after Shagun. His behavior and reactions since Mani's entrance is like that of a teenager who is love for the first time. The jumping to conclusions, the possessives, the self doubt... it's like he is really and truly falling in love for the first time. That's why he is stumbling so much and unable to be direct with her because, i think there is that sense of 'how can someone so wonderful and great love ME?' [a sentiment he has stated during the Mani track] and he thought that the physical joining will be able to cement the relationship in a way that can't be taken back.

With Shagun he was super romantic and verbal and she walked away and burned him- but what still keeps them connected? The consequences of their physical connection, the kids. And though he knows that the possibility of children with ISHU is less [don't break my heart and say it will never happen- i hope they explore that avenue later...😃] a part of him thinks that the physical connection has a more lasting impact then the verbal admission.

He sees and knows the value of the the words. And he recognizes that 'she is special' and values different tings than Shagun and knows she deserves it too... but it's like his past lessons, the headiness of being well and truly in love for the first time and his lack of confidence in his own value in relation to her has him behaving rather comically.

Plus don't forget this idea came from Bala who is often held as an ideal husband/romantic and who Rman really respects and wants to learn from. WHY this was Bala's only advice is something to discuss in another post.🤔 But why Raman took this advice so easily, makes sense- he is confused and drowning in love and wants desperately to make the right move so that Ishu knows where he stands and he can get confirmation of what he only suspects- her feelings for him.
Raman is a man, a man in love; but he is also a man who is always in control feeling out of control and free falling towards his wife and that is what has him acting in way that seems very out of character for a man with two children who has confessed his love to a woman and treated her to ultimate romantic fantasies in the past.😆

... well that's another take on the scene- what do you think?

I loved gandhari the way cvs have dealt with this..thy dont knw each otjer and i would nt have liked if one fine day thy would rushed up things...

Its going at a good phase...

The change in rkb has been shown in a brilliant way and i thnak sonali mam for tht..she said she loves the character of RKB as lot..as KARAN PATEL is jst beyond words...

This is why I love YHM...the whole episode was lighthearted moments about a guy's dilemma with a packet of condom...but this last scene just dealt with the inner working of the man that he is.
