So i didn't feel comfy posting this for everyone to see but as per your request, here it is :

I love your little stories, it reminds me of a show "My mad fat diary"

the main male lead (FINN) is a guy who is in love with a very outgoing person (RAE) -she has her own struggle of course but she always seems to be in control from the outside-

they always meet up with their group of friends at the local bar (this reminded me of your piece) so finn wants to talk to her, to sit close to her but he can't in front of everyone because he'll get teased. so he sits far but wishing he could be closer, and he tried to get her attention across the table

it reminded of him because he smokes too.

but Finn thinks he is not good with words and doesn't know how to convey his feelings to her so he never really feels comfy talking to her because if she tells him "... you don't make sense/i don't get you" it would crush him.

and he is a hottie but somehow around such a lively person he gets shy like a kid

and he is attracted to her like flying leaves are attracted to the floor.

She is everything to him as soon as she enters the room. Whenever she is around he only sees her.

and in his shyness he steals glances, and tries to have her attention but doesn't dare demand it.

words can't explain what i'm trying to say. so bear with me please.

I loved that serial, and i love your writing because there is the same feeling as the show.

in your stories, HEis always SO aware of HER being around.

he won't look at her, he won't talk to her but he is aware and always "wondering"

and he gets very self conscious too about himself, and his smoking habit.

Also there is a bit of a bad boy/nice girl vibe going on,

as if HE was too cool for everyone but not good enough for HER

so he gets insecure when in reality HE may be intimidating to HER without knowing it.

I just love the underlying tension between them,

they are so close on screen, working together for months now,

but as soon as the scene cuts it's like they are from two different worlds

and wonder how they ended up in the same room.

but they can't stay unaffected by each other. They want to reach out to each other

but don't know how and don't know why and don't know if they should.

Because they're only co-actors ...

they're not even THAT close as friends...

And she has someone...

and whenever they get together they want to take the chance to exchange with each other even if it's not much, it's important to them, each word and glance and smile is important.

also in the SHE/HE (previous work you published) they care for each other, it's beautiful. they don't need to be close friends to care, they just do. They know each other and that's enough for them to care about each each other.

You know ? do you get what i'm saying? sorry if i don't make sense 😆

As for source of inspiration I shall cut and paste what I replied to another comment in one of the previous work

When I wrote this all I thought of was fun fiction not even fan fiction - fun becos I like the actors and they make me happy their characters on screen are not fun right now and off screen I will make a fictional place for them. This is pure pure fiction and nothing else, it gives you happiness that's great because it made me happy and gave me some laughs while writing.

To me the inspiration is to write something that shall be fun to write emulate a chemistry and also keep Ignite some happiness in us all. No one thing really! Some times the show inspires and sometimes it just does not but the actors never fail to not!
