It was a day of revelation for Raman...a day where the alpha male who takes care of everyone around him...was standing helplessly at a point where his own situation: the reality of it, stared back at him. Someone else knew the nitty gritty details about his wife...his own brother pointed out about his callous attitude towards his wife.

Till now Raman has always looked at their relationship from his point of view...about how he feels for her...about how she affects him...his constant barbs all to get some reaction out of his beloved...that he does matter to her, his Ishita.. It has been about self-preservation, about protecting himself from revisiting the hurt of his past. He missed out on trying to find out the other aspect of the one he loves... Ishita Bhalla, the person.

Today he stood at the threshold of revelation...about how little he actually knew about her. Normal things that a husband wife share...the little details of his, hers and theirs. He knows all about the things she does for others, for him, for his family...but little about her..past or present.

For their future together, the past and present need to be taken care of. Loving someone needs effort to know them inside out .. The good, the worst and everything in between .

The lost Raman...got to me today.

Yeah true original raman was lost 6 years back and the presnt raman got a reality check about himself and his relationship with his wife and i am sure the lost raman is gonna return soon...

While she knew what exactly hurt him he is still not completely aware of her hurt. To heal one needs to know the cause of the wound. He has an idea about it, but will now know how much it is hurting her. He will ofcourse accept her with her 'flaws' as he loves her so much and this will drive away her insecurity.

That will help her open up, complete 'pya', which will heal his rejection

Both will address the others insecurity, to remove it permanently by acceptance.

Yes truly 'knowing' your partner is the start of making stronger bond in a relationship, especially one that started in deep misgivings about each other... They need to fully understand each other before they take their relationship to the next level. Maturing of Raman-Ishita's relationship will begin only then.
